4. Convince the Coldbolds I helped lower water levels

What do you use to get this minimalist 8 bit art and lettering?

I use paint.net, zoom in to about 800% (for detail work) while having anti-aliasing turned off, move/resize set to nearest-neighbor instead of bilinear, and the brush settings set to 100% hardness with anti-aliasing turned off on both stroke and pressure sensitivity.

The text itself is called 'Pixel Art' and was found with just a google search using 'pixel art text file' which was then added to my fonts folder.

As for the minimalist style that's just done with practice. Over on /ic/ there's a pixel art thread which would be able to help you on managing the different pixel art styles altogether.

Don't forget the loot shown here Maw discovers a mimic! Scroll teleports to the sentient water structure and holds a conversation. Bo falls to their demise! Robutt and the Inanimalia venture back to the Hub, discovering a new arrival has beaten them back!

Bo is now no longer an Adept, and has become a Bruiser.

While Adepts are mobile and well suited to a variety of roles, the Bruiser is there to blitz down the opposition and be a hard threat to deal with. Being well-suited to melee, some take up the Arcum to make use of their strength in the form of projectiles. Some Bruisers are rumored to forgo all weapons and instead commit to the improvement of the self.

Only one such Bruiser has been rumored to achieve the final step in self-improvement, but such knowledge has been lost to the ages before the cataclysm.

If you're talking about Noble Magics where the characters were based off of a handful of animals, not really. Noble Magics was using a revision of this system. Made by me though.
