Rolled 7 (1d8)

Rolled 3 (1d8)

Rolled 6 (1d10)

Rolled 2 (1d8)

/

Alright, addendum: First one to roll twice decides it.

dice+1d8

Rolled 9 (1d10)

?

Rolled 7 (1d8)

Rolled 4 (1d8)

why would we roll? Can't we vote instead, so that it's not totally rgn without our input being needed?

Our setting takes place in a world where civilization has developed around Necromantic experimentation. Ghosts ferry messages at the speed of thought, skeletons are harnessed for cheap manual labor, Communing with the dead is a matter of diplomacy rather than difficulty, and death is only the beginning. This does come at a cost, however. Over - exposure to foul necrotic energies have caused spirits both living and dead to mutate, turning them into monstrous creatures. Civilization is forced to defend itself from the very demons it creates. Our character is a member of the task force dedicated to eradicating these creatures. Part exorcist, part mercenary.

What's our character's race? General consensus decides:

Revenant: Fleshcraft and soul-tempering has created these undead who have unearthly beauty and grace. Dextrous and Charismatic.

Awakened Zombie: Hardy and Strong, they're not a pretty site to behold, but they're fearsome to behold in the battlefield. Also kinda slow.

Soul-bound: a spirit who has elected to animate an inorganic form. Not nearly strong or as hardy as a zombie, but durable nonetheless, and are able to temporarily leave their shell to use their spectral abilities. You're dead in the water if your phylactery breaks.

Human: You're alive. You're also the race with the greatest disposition towards Necromancy. Mortal life has the greatest influence on the art.

That was only for the setting. All the other decisions are largely going to be in the hands of the player.

Let's add these in as well:

Skeleton: You're bony, but that's no skin off your nose. You're fragile, but easier to reconstitute than any other race, also insanely fast and light.

Poltergeist: A ghost with a more solid form. Telikinetic powers and vaguely incorporeal, but takes longer to heal

loli

Alright Male it is.

How skilled in Necromantic Arts is he?

0%: Martial character.

10%: You're a little more knowledgeable about Arcane matgers than your average Hit - Smash character, and you've got a trick or two you know, but people still come to you for physical combat over anything else.

30%: spontaneous/circumstantial. Uses his skills to supplement his physical prowess.

50%: middle of the road style, not the best at martial or magic, but he's got some tricks nobody else has.

70%:Mostly Caster, but he's not quite so squishy. Knows how to hold a sword.

100%: Yer a Wizard Harry.

First choice with three votes.

>100%: Yer a Wizard Harry.

Welp, looks like we're a wizard. If that's the case, how about the major focus of our Arcane arts?(you will also choose a minor focus)

Animation: the art of transplanting souls into bodies, mostly Zombies and Skeletons. Our minions stay loyal to us until they awaken, after which they become sentient and are treated as a full-citizen with rights, and gain free-will. The time varies between each soul.

Fleshcraft: able to manipulate bodies both living and dead. You could temporarily increase your strength, give yourself some claws, or a whole host of other abilities.

Anima: manipulation of life force. Life drain, healing, enfeeblement, or invigoration. The mortal coil is yours to wind and unwind.

Infusion: manipulating and combining life energies. You can craft dark relics or imbibe your enemy with dark energy to the point of immolation.
