This quest is set within the universe of Naruto, long after the end of the series, but ignoring the events of the Boruto Manga. Of course, because this is Naruto we're talking about, the geopolitics and technology haven't advanced as quickly as they would in the real world. As such, the technology is similar to that of Boruto the Movie, and the villages you know and love are largely the same.
However, the characters will be less familiar, because as much time has passed between the Last and now as passed between the Founding of the Hidden Villages and the Main Series.
Last Quest, you had a meaningful talk with your sister, napped on the bathroom floor, and learned your first jutsu. This Quest, you have your first training with Hōōmaru-sensei.
You are Kuro Nijiiroh, a newly-minted genin of Konohagakure, and it's the morning you're supposed to meet with Hōōmaru-sensei for your first one-on-one training with her. And according to Hakurin, the entire first day of training was stamina training. by fighting alone against a jounin. You hope that the stamina training you did yesterday, along with the water ninjutsu that you've learned, you'll be able to get out of the training better than your teammate did. Tying your headband around your belt, and slipping on your coat, you rush towards the training ground, and hope that your sensei being late for your first meeting was a fluke.
You get to the training ground ten minutes before the appointed meeting time, and glance around to see if you beat Hōōmaru-sensei here. Suddenly, you feel yourself lifted into the air, and then you're dangling from a tree by the ankle, staring into your sensei's blue eyes. She clicks her tongue, "You really cut it close there, Kuro, I was almost worried you were going to be late." You wonder why she's not wearing her flak jacket, if you're going to be training rigorously today. Apparently, she wanted to look presentable and professional for your first meeting, she informs you as she glares at you. You're not sure why any ninja would decide to wear some kind of skirt and button down shirt while ninja'ing, but you got knocked out by an ANBU in a towel, so you're not one to argue. After letting you down, she leads you to the field, adopts a fighting stance, and asks if you're ready.

Almost immediately after Hōōmaru-sensei rushes you, you feel like she's having an off day, because she's not fighting nearly as well as she was during your first test as a team. Though you had your misgivings about fighting for six hours straight coming into this, by the halfway point, you're confident that you'll make it. You were aware that Hakurin has less stamina than you do, but you didn't think that you had so much more, in fact, while fighting, something inside of you just... clicked, and you felt like you could fight for days. Stamina changed by +.5; bloodline trait unlocked: Pinch Adaptability (will activate rarely in a pinch, boosting a stat either temporarily or permanently, does not affect Intelligence, Hand Seals, or Specialty Skills)
After four hours of (thankfully) pure taijutsu sparring, which Hōōmaru-sensei cut short due to your stellar performance, both of you are panting, maybe you are just a bit harder, but it still feels good that your sensei took you semi-seriously. You know that she's reserved the field for six hours, do you want to train something else?

You get up from the log you were resting on after your extended sparring session with Hōōmaru-sensei, and go over to her, offering her a hand up from the spot she had found to sit. She accepts it and looks you over, you're both battered, but it's obvious that you got it worse, despite being able to keep up with your jounin sensei for the majority of the match.
"You know Kuro, I had thought that the three of you had the same weakness: stamina." She shakes her head, "but I guess I was wrong, you really surprised me, you know." She's been studying you as she said this, so intensely that you're not sure if you're comfortable with it. But then she breaks into her trademark smile and bubbly self and ruffles your hair, "Good job keeping up with me, Kuro!"
"Sensei, was something wrong with you today?" You ask her, concerned due to her seeming lack of performance today. She answers in the negative, informing you that she must have just gotten up on the wrong side of the bed today. This relieves you, and you ask her if you can move onto training in the Body Flicker Technique. She gleefully accepts, and begins training you in the Body Flicker Technique.
Roll 1d100+5s for your training, you get a +5 due to the lingering effects of Pinch Adaptability.

By the end of the two hours training, you're completely bushed. But Hōōmaru-sensei says that you have Body Flicker down almost perfectly, and that you should meet her at the same place and time tomorrow, before disappearing. You thought you had something to say to her, but if you did, it can wait. Now it's the early evening, and you're done with training with sensei. You ponder your options.

Poison mastery/toxicologist medical ninja? Maybe mix with flat out summon mastery borderlining on weapon mastery if our summon is BIOLANTE or something? Using summoned pieces you know. Or plant/fungus cuttings that we temporarily puppet-like assist?
That, or CENTIPEDES.
Cooper Brooks
Taijutsu is a meme specialization, it can never go as far as a ninjutsu specialist will. And the only way to get as far is to use the gates which cripple you or kill you
Tyler Foster
Since my post got ate apparently Poison/toxicology specialist medical ninja? Weapons or summon focus? Taking a plant or something and using cuttings or mushrooms and using bits and derivatives in place of non-basic jutsus like a summon focused Shino? Bonus points for BIOLANTE or CENTIPEDES.
Daniel Butler
I like the idea of being a medical ninja of poisons but I understand why many don't want to. Being a medical ninja, you have to avoid fights since you're valuable.
Lincoln Clark
You decide that the best way to perfect something is to practice it, and use your newly-learned Body Flicker Technique to travel home. It dramatically cuts down on the travel time, and you're sure that you saw some other genin and even chunin looking on at your speed in envy. You smile smugly to yourself as you cook yourself dinner, and try to think of that Uchiha who was famous for using Shunshin for a comparison, but you can only think of the Fourth Hokage. You decide to yourself that "the Taupe Flash" is a pretty awful nickname, and when you go to bed, the name still escapes you.
What will you train with sensei today? You can train two things, or one thing twice.
