Future Naruto Quest V

Future Naruto Quest

This quest is set within the universe of Naruto, long after the end of the series, but ignoring the events of the Boruto Manga. Of course, because this is Naruto we're talking about, the geopolitics and technology haven't advanced as quickly as they would in the real world. As such, the technology is similar to that of Boruto the Movie, and the villages you know and love are largely the same.

However, the characters will be less familiar, because as much time has passed between the Last and now as passed between the Founding of the Hidden Villages and the Main Series.

Last Quest, you trained with your sensei, learned some new jutsu, and started on your journey to become Kuro of the Shunshin! This Quest, you don't know what the hell is going on.

You blast past your sister's clone that you were battling with your Body Flicker, and grab your sister by the waist, throwing her bodily into the clone, and popping it. As she starts to stand, you kick her in the stomach, stopping her from rising, and allowing Jimmaru to hold her hands behind her back. You walk up to your sister, and even though you can still hear Hōōmaru and Shirou battling in the rafters, you start to interrogate her. "Why is an ANBU robbing this store?" you ask her, not trying to reveal your relationship yet.

"I told you!" she shouts, "I didn't have time to tell anyone, this was too sensitive." She glances around, and you notice that Hakurin is beginning to stir. You can imagine she's biting her lower lip, she always did that when cornered, "I've been following artifact since I left the village this week, I have to get it to the Hokage, or the Department of Research." You ask her what exactly the artifact is, and she makes you lean in to whisper, "It's sap, from the Shinju," you can barely believe it, and tell her as much, "believe me Kuro, please." She begs you, as sensei lands next to you, having defeated the clone she was battling. She looks between the two of you, "I can show you, they smuggled it in, it's completely true!"

By now, your team has your sister surrounded, and you're sure that she doesn't think she can take all of you right now.

>A) Take her up on her offer, break into the store and let her show you the alleged sap

>B) Knock her out, and take her to ANBU headquarters

>C) Knock her out, and take her to the Hokage

>D) Ask her what it looks like, enter the store on your own and find it

>E) Defer the decision to Hōōmaru-sensei

>F) Something else

>E) Defer the decision to Hōōmaru-sensei

Knock her out, take the sap to hokage

Kinda feel bad about stealing sister's alleged mission but the only reason we are here is because anbu didn't go through proper channels so it is their fault...

>E) Defer the decision to Hōōmaru-sensei
Ayyy

>E) Defer the decision to Hōōmaru-sensei
Sensei is in charge after all

You look to your sensei for the decision. She is your sensei, outranks you, and is the ninja-in-charge of the mission. "This is certainly a confusing situation..." she says, brow furrowed, seemingly deep in thought. "I have to call someone, I know it's late at night, and I would normally call the Jounin Commander," she sighs, taking her personal phone from one of her pockets, "but because this involves the ANBU, and it is such an ungodly hour, I have to call the Hokage." At that bombshell, Hōōmaru-sensei walks off to make the call in private.

Once Hōōmaru is gone, Shirou begins to freak out, begging her not to do this and let her complete her mission. A light bump on the head from Jimmaru shuts her up, though her glaring at him speaks volumes. Hōōmaru-sensei comes back from her phone call, and walks up to the four of you. "He said we should let her show us the artifact, and take it to his office immediately." She sighs, and tells Jimmaru and Hakurin to take your sister by the arms, she'll watch Shirou's back, and you can take point.

You lead your team and captive sister through the broken window on the door, and your sister directs you to a large crate in the storeroom. Hōōmaru-sensei lends you her tanto, and you pry open the crate, finding it stuffed full of small, squishy white things. Digging through them you feel your energy draining, and Shirou says that you should collect some of those to bring back to the Hokage as well. Finally, about halfway into the crate, you find a heavy metal box, with a number of locks. Shirou tells you that this is what the artifact is contained in, and Hōōmaru-sensei tells the three of you that you need to help her escort Shirou and the box to the Hokage's office.

Travelling to the Hokage's tower is uneventful, being so late at night. Hōōmaru-sensei takes your sister and the box into the Hokage's Office itself, leaving your team in the lobby.

>Continued

put yer trip back on

Hōōmaru-sensei emerges from the Hokage's office about an hour later, and tells the three of you to head home, and that she'll call you when she's got a new mission for you.

>A) Ask her something (What?)

>B) Leave, but talk to your teammates first (What do you say to who?)

>C) Listen to her and leave

>>A) Ask her something (What?)
"Are you doing alright? Did everything go okay?"
HUG

>C) Listen to her and leave

Second

>A) Ask her something (What?)
Is my sister in trouble?

>A) Is Shirou gonna be in trouble?

Let's not hug her. We've been too physical as it is with the girls.

Nah. Let's hug her.

Seconding hug

I don't know what it is, but anons seem to be extra autistic, lately.

Any particular reason we're acting like a creepy?

>A) Is Shirou gonna be in trouble?

Hey, do you plan on making the Karagowa a thing?

>A) Ask her something
Ask about sis

I know my vote is way late but I think we should know what happened to her

You're going for the hug, and asking about your sister's well-being.
I don't follow, sorry.
Sorry for the delay, was making smoothies.
>Writing

Kuro is going to be diagnosed with multiple personality disorder, or being a Shounen MC. Either is a terrible thought

...Leaf Ninja quest's protagonist? Kon Karagowa?

Wind/Lightning Kekkei Genkai that was actually a mutation of the Explosive Release of the Stone, acquired through his dad.

these new naruto quest MCs are strange

Can we just...not do the hugs?

Please?

"Sensei, is everything alright, do you need a hug?" You ask her after she finishes giving you your orders, concerned due to the fact that even she seems somewhat shaken by the events of tonight.

"No thanks Kuro," she say, before poking your forehead tauntingly, "and I also don't need another Jimmaru on my team." the aforementioned teammate grumbles in protest, and you ask your sensei if you're sister will be alright. "She'll be fine, just don't expect her to be around a lot in the near future, Lord Tenth said that she's not going to be getting too many missions like this one or around the village for a while..." She points at the three of you, "Now, orders are orders, head home and I'll contact you for the next mission I get for you."

You have two days off for sure, what will you do with them?

>A) Take an opportunity to rest

>B) Go to the training fields for ninjutsu

>C) Go to the training fields for taijutsu

>D) Go to the training fields for bukijutsu

>E) Go to the academy for ninjutsu

>F) Go to the academy for genjutsu

>G) Go shopping

>H) Practice cooking at your mother's restaurant

>I) Something else (Specify)

>Pick four in the order you wish to do them, and link back to this post.

>I) Try and track down sis. You kinda fucked her, and not in a good way.

>E) Go to the academy for ninjutsu
>B) Go to the training fields for ninjutsu
>C) Go to the training fields for taijutsu
>H) Practice cooking at your mother's restaurant

>E) Go to the academy for ninjutsu

I'm a bit confused are we a siscon or do we just have a lot of to give?

>Ask the Hokage or the ANUB captain to give a message to your sis.
>F) Go to the academy for genjutsu
>D) Go to the training fields for bukijutsu
>H) Practice cooking at your mother's restaurant

What's the message, user?
A lot of what?!

So, you can't show affection to your sister without wanting to fuck her? Are you a only child?

love

>We're sorry, please come sometimes/don't hate us.

Some shit like that, so it CAN get passed to her. Anything about the mission would most likely get the letter ripped apart.

>A) Take an opportunity to rest

>B) Go to the training fields for ninjutsu

>C) Go to the training fields for taijutsu

>D) Go to the training fields for bukijutsu

You're sending the letter before heading to the academy to study ninjutsu, after that, you're heading to the training fields for taijutsu, lastly you're mastering your cooking skill with your mother.

Sweet

We truly must master cooking, No ninja would expect our attacks of BREAD.

Awesome.

Does cooking skills translate in any way towards Wilderness Survival?

I'm assuming it will help with what cuts and part of animals to use, which plants are poisonous, how delicious the meals Kuro makes and whatnot.

You wake up late the next morning, but still early enough to get in two different kinds of training for the day. First though, you pen a short letter to your sister, the gist of which is that you're sorry for ruining her mission, and that you hope you two can reconnect the next time she's available. You figure you'll be able to give it to the Hokage's secretary, then head to the Academy's Library to study up on ninjutsu some more. But once you step through your bedroom's doorway, you trip over a large, brightly wrapped box. There's a tag dangling off it.

>A) Open it right away

>B) Read the tag first, then open it

>C) Leave it

>D) Something else

>>B) Read the tag first, then open it
hmmm

>B) Read the tag first, then open it

>Read the tag first, then open it

>B) Read the tag first, then open it

ib4bomb

the note says Ur a faget

Reading the tag, got it.
>Writing

You decide that you want to read the tag on a mysterious box like this before haphazardly opening it. Picking it up, you read the following "Kuro, I know how much you liked these when you were younger, sorry for ruining your first mission, I hope this makes it up to you- Shirou." After reading the note, you pick up the box, and after bringing it into your room, tear off the wrapping paper and open it. Inside is a statuette, and another piece of paper, reading "Your shunshin reminded me of the one you were missing, couldn't fit this onto the tag- Shirou." The figurine is reminiscent of ones you collected as a kid, but is larger and more expensive. You put the figure among your collection on the top shelf of your closet, and find an envelope at the bottom of the box. It's full of Ryo. No, it's bulging with Ryo. It's labeled as being half of the payment for an S-rank mission, or two-hundred twenty-five thousand Ryo. Your family may be rich, but you're not sitting on millennia of wealth or an internation conglomerate, like some families are. So this is still a considerable sum.

>A) Keep it here

>B) Skim a little for pocket money, keep the rest here

>C) Put it in the bank (will override your first training time)

>D) Something else.

>A) Keep it here
Ninjutsu is important, we can't become like the best Hokage otherwise

>B) Skim a little for pocket money, keep the rest here

>D. Sit at the table and stare at the money, gaping like a fish, until someone comes along and asks what the fuck. Really though, you don't know what to do with this and you're afraid if you look away it'll up and disappear.

>>B) Skim a little for pocket money, keep the rest here

>B) Skim a little for pocket money, keep the rest here
Always goo to carry some money around.

You're skimming
>Writing, but expect some delays

Sorry about that, I'm back now.

Cool.

Don't listen to the Clone. His not our real dad.

You decide to keep some of the money, and stash the rest in a little strong box in your room. After leaving the letter and instructions for it with the Hokage's secretary you head to the Academy to study ninjutsu. After studying all day, you go to the training fields and polish up your taijutsu skills. The next day you take advantage of your mother owning a restaurant, and continue learning to cook.

The next morning when you wake up, you see that you have two messages. and checking them, neither are from Hōōmaru-sensei, but instead from your father and Jimmaru, respectively. Your father's is a curt message saying that he'll be away from home for a few more days on his mission. Jimmaru's is an invitation to hang out, as a team.

>A) Accept Jimmaru's invitation

>B) Contact Hakurin about it first

>C) Reject Jimmaru's invitation

>D) Something else

>>B) Contact Hakurin about it first

>A) Accept Jimmaru's invitation

>>B) Contact Hakurin about it first

>B) Contact Hakurin about it first

the akuma quest flashbacks...
>My lord, you´re already bread.

lol.

>akuma quest
that was a fun quest. we need more fun evil quests

You message Hakurin, asking her if she'd want to hang out as a team today. After a bit of waiting, the girl's positive response comes through to you. You decide that maybe some team bonding could be good, and Jimmaru can't be as bad one-on-one-on-one as Hōōmaru-sensei makes him seem. The three of you meet in front of the Ichiraku franchise closest to the Hyuga compound and Jimmaru tells you his plan for the day. Oh. Maybe Hōōmaru-sensei is right...

>A) Oh boy, a day at the hot springs!

>B) We didn't even finish the mission...

>C) I want no part in the upcoming Gentle Fist massacre

>>C) I want no part in the upcoming Gentle Fist massacre

>Could you at least be subtle about it?

>>A) Oh boy, a day at the hot springs!

>A) Oh boy, a day at the hot springs!

>>A) Oh boy, a day at the hot springs!
what could possibly go wrong!

>>C) I want no part in the upcoming Gentle Fist massacre

>C) I want no part in the upcoming Gentle Fist massacre
Still feel bad for not finishing the mission.

>C) I want no part in the upcoming Gentle Fist massacre

>A) Oh boy, a day at the hot springs!

Perfect, we needed to start our research for the books.

>C) I want no part in the upcoming Gentle Fist massacre

Go away Jiraiya, you're dead in this story.

You don't want to get fisted.

Will someone explain to me why this shit isn't on /qst/

Because /qst/ is bad and you should feel bad for bringing it up.

This is a quest, it is not traditional games

There is a board for each

Why shit up this board with content that belongs on another board

That makes me sad.

>Why shit up the board
Howdy Newfag, Go look and see the actual worthless shit on the fucking Catalog before spouting your bullshit. Also if you dislike it, You can filter it. Such wonderful things to use and all there to stop you from shitting up a thread.

Also a Quest is what you go on in any Tabletop game, Instead of us all having different char's we control one. So yes, it does belong here. So take this (you) and fuck off. Thanks

You decide that maybe it would be best to not get caught up in this, and excuse yourself to hide behind a nearby wall. Surprisingly, you don't hear the beating you would expect, but instead, after about five minutes Hakurin walks up to you, with no Jimmaru in sight. "Follow me," she says- no, she orders you.

You follow Hakurin, in silence, into her family's compound, and she starts dragging you by the hand once you're in there, ignoring all the relatives and servants that you come across. She leads you into a mansion at the center of the compound, through the front foyer, and into the courtyard of the traditional structure. Only then does she break the silence, "Kuro, fight me." She drops into a traditional Gentle Fist stance.

>A) Just get into your fighting stance

>B) What brought this on?

>C) Are you okay?

>>A) Just get into your fighting stance

>B) What brought this on?
>C) Are you okay?

^ In that order please, sense it seems like something you'd say as a full fucking sentence.

Reminder: don't feed it, just report it.

>>A) Just get into your fighting stance
Time for more grab ass

>>A) Just get into your fighting stance
okay then

>A) Just get into your fighting stance
Ok sure

Hakurin is not our waifu, we only grab Sensei's ass and maybe sis's sometimes
