>A Chaos Marine Supplement is coming >It will Feature Kharn >There is a large plastic kits for both Magnus the Red and the Lord of Change coming >Primarchs and Demon Primarchs are coming to 40K. >They won’t be the same as they are in 30K. >They’re going to be slightly different to account for the 10k year gap. >We will be seeing The Lion, Russ, Guilliman, Khan, Mortarion, Angron, Perturabo and Magnus.
i-is the story progressing they were right with the new Deathwatch models months ago
Magnus refused to meet Abaddon and pledge himself to the 13th Black Crusade.
Since Khayon the BREAKER OF MAGNUS was sent to Terra to deliver a message and Abaddon cannot afford to waste time, Abaddon left Magnus alone rather than forcing him to join.
Ergo, no Magnus in 40K.
Jaxon Foster
I hope to God that they won't bring primarchs and daemon primarchs into the game. It will just ruin how fucked the imperium is if the primarchs return and the it will hurt to see some asshat rubing magnus with a khorne army or some other stupid shit like that. Chaos does despwesterly need a supplement and rewriting rule-wise though.
Leo Brooks
>i-is the story progressing
Yes. The Eldar just got killed off, to all intents and purposes. Start looking into new games.
Brandon Richardson
That and well...there are PLENTY of factions without a Primarch-equivalent.
Unless they plan to reveal that Alicia Domina has been alive all this time and has powered up into Magical Girl levels.
Nathan Brooks
>The Eldar just got killed off Thank fuck
Ayden Reed
Did anyone, I don't know, notice the hig fucking word RUMORS at the top of the pic?
Now remind me, how many times simce 4ed Chaos have we heard rumors about Codex:Traitor Legions? Then supplements for the Legions?
Hell, I have heard rumors about Demon Primarchs for years.
Not mention it sounds helluvo unbelievable, concerning how GW underlines all the fucking time in their fluff how everything is going to shit even more.
Nathaniel Collins
If they are going to bring the traitor Primarchs, then Cadia must fall in order for the Eye to generate enough power to spawn them.
Who is hyped for Warzone Cadia?
Austin Long
>>We will be seeing The Lion, Russ, Guilliman, Khan, Mortarion, Angron, Perturabo and Magnus.
>Guilliman
So... he bleeds out in turn one? Or is he just a straight terrain piece, wheeled around in his Stasis Unit by a couple of dudes with a flatbed trolley?
Landon Morales
Trazyn will cure him and kidnap him. The Ultramarines will attack Solemence to rescue him.
Austin Garcia
>Implying Yes, GW will totally squat one of the most popular and competitive armies in a shitty little board game expansion.
Gavin Sanchez
Tomb Kings and Brets say hello.
Robert Nelson
For the love of god. If Daemon Angron gets a model, they better not fuck up
Liam Myers
>popular and competitive armies
Jason Edwards
>Implying GW hasn't already done it >Implying GW tells a story like a 5 yearold >Inb4 tomorrow Eldar plot advance they kill everyone
GW's ability to tell stories, advance a plot, or fix a mistake, is akin to that of a 6 yearold with a blow up hammer and some pudding.
Mason Garcia
Bolter Bitches, squats, Britos, Tomb Kings, Black Templars, Guardsmen to some degree, Tau until recently, Daemons, Battle Fleet Gothic, the list goes on ya know.
Leo Anderson
None of the armies that got models in fantasy 8th ED were removed.
So as long as your army gets updated with models, you have no worry.
So what faction that did not get updated for a long time in 40K? Sisters and CSM, right? They gonna get squated.
Jackson Hill
I thought Ynnead failed, but the rest of the Eldar still lived.
Austin Peterson
CSM at least got those wonky Daemon Engines in 6th. But I can't honestly see Sisters existing much longer, I'm sad to say.
Aaron Rogers
Every army at this point is going to get squated, sure you don't get updated, sure they don't remove you, but you become so irreverent that no one plays you, it's like playing Germany in any sort of game ever that has a dev biased towards it.
No matter what, you might not get squated out but you will become like all the rest, irreverent and unable to stand up to updated armies.
Sisters, CSM, before that it was Battlefleet Gothic and the Squats. GW has gone down hill for so long they're just on borrowed time now.
Angel Myers
What happened to the Craftworlds and ALL the Eldar dead souls stored in them after the ritual is vague
Joshua Sullivan
The Deathwatch kicked Eldrad's teeth in before he could finish the ritual. I mean all the Eldar present on that moon are dead (except Eldrad of course) but the rest are probably fine. Plus the Exodites, Dark Eldar, and Harlequins aren't even hooked up to the Infinity Circuits.
Aaron Thompson
>I can't honestly see Sisters existing much longer They aren't going to squat them just like that. There are too many of them and too spread out to just kill them all, right?
Xavier Powell
You underestimate the power of the Jewish Trade Union that is GW.
Christian Lopez
They just pulled some garbage "all the eldar souls are linked up to Eldrad's fucking retarded ritual idea" I'm sure they could do something equally as fucking dumb with the Sisters.
Dominic Lewis
>What happened to the Craftworlds and ALL the Eldar dead souls stored in them after the ritual is vague wat
Blake Bell
Old armies are getting fluff and good rules in AoS, one by one.
The Ogres/Ogors and Dryads/Wood Elves things got Battletomes and they are one of the best armies in the game.
Like I said, you got models in a recent edition? Have no worry.
Brody White
good for you, I guess enjoy your End Times with massive overpowered and overcosted character kits, which will kill your setting and bring some sort of Spacestormcasts or something
Connor Williams
Y'know how there's that Eldar prophecy that when all the Eldar join the Infinity Circuit Ynnead will be born and he'll kill Slaanesh? Eldrad decided it was a really good idea to try and kickstart that on his own without informing the rest of his species.
Samuel Howard
leave it to the eldar to fuck it up
Logan Martin
...
Xavier Martin
Problem is, you get models in a recent addition but you don't get updates fast enough to save a player base on said army.
It goes like this
>Models >Models >Some more models >Vague rules for models >No updates for 2-3 years *Vampire Counts*
As much as it pains me to say, GW takes too long to update shit, and ends up killing off an army but just not paying attention to it. It's gotten so bad they're bringing Matt Ward back.
Joshua Gutierrez
Eldrad now, in recent lore, is akin to the kid in the back of the class who has his head down. Pretending to plot how he is going to skip class and still pass the class.
Lincoln Reed
>implying that Magnus won't be an Imperial unit after the Ultramarines capture him and ship him to the Emperor's throne in a box, and then the Emperor punches Tzeentch in the nuts to steal his soul back
But Eldrad has been dead for a while. What is going on here?
Benjamin James
They retconned that in...6th I think? This is before the 13th Black Crusade anyway.
Zachary Morris
GW story telling.
Joshua Cruz
To be fair knowing the Eldar they probably would have taken a couple centuries meaninglessly bickering over the subject, and each one using their own farseers visions to screw with each other.
Eldrad going off on his own with the clowns was probably the smartest (if not the most well thought out) decision.
Considering what the actual rumors say, which I bet you read, this isn't an End Times thing. They are just advancing it a bit to make the situation feel more desperate, status quo is still a thing.
Overcosted character kits? Sure, sounds like classic GW. Killing off their cash cow just because AOS is doing somewhat decently now? You have to be an actual retard to think that.
At most they will just go the route of simplifying the rules or something for the next edition. Full on End Times is a pretty ridiculous conclusion to come to.
Ryan Anderson
>stasis fields is impenetrable >means its indestructible >it still weights as much as a fucking primarch is full battle armour >load Guilliman into catapult and shoot him at enemies
or what? someone will get angry? THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT!
Mason Baker
Summoning Ynnead into the world requires all Eldar to die.
After Illic told Eldrad about a moon made from psychic crystal, Eldrad formulated a plan to channel the Eldar souls from ALL craftworlds into the moon that will create a beacon that will awaken Ynnead sooner without the need for all the Eldar to die.
If the ritual succeeds, then all Eldar dead souls will merge to create Ynnead. All Craftworlds and Eldar fleets will be crippled and the Imperium will reel from the psychic explosion that will kill tons of psykers and blind countless navigators.
The Deathwatch stopped the ritual from fully completing. Ynnead awakened for a bit but her mind scattered and broke apart, returning to nothing. Only one fragment of her remained and it escaped into space.
What happened to the Craftworlds and Eldar souls in the aftermath is unknown and is wildly speculated about here.
Lucas Robinson
>Eldrad died near the end of the 13th Black Crusade >13th Black Crusade was retconned >Now it is only just starting >Therefore Eldrad isn't dead
Not that hard of a concept to understand.
Wyatt Smith
>Spacestormcasts >stormcasts are literally the fantasy space marine analogue they already have Space marines, why the fuck would they need to change it?
Brody Foster
>Be'lakor lets Nagash and Mannfred into 40k to start End Times as a part of his newest harebrained plot to become the greatest Chaos God
Zachary Howard
Eldarad hasn't been dead since 5th ED. When was that? A decade ago? You are an entire decade behind, you fucking turtle.
Oliver Taylor
>guardsmen wear earmuffs and cover their ears with hands. >comissar doesn't bother, commissar is too manly for that
Bentley Reed
Gonna just point this out
At this point Eldar are being rectonned, put back, retconned, put back, near daily with stories and lore updates.
Really you can't be behind or ahead of the game since the game is on pause.
Adrian Smith
Honestly, I imagine they'll probably just center it around the 13th Black Crusade's attack on Cadia if they do something along those lines. You can have all the big named dudes present for the final war for Cadia, yet still leave the ending open enough for it to be possible for anyone to get a win out of it.
Luis Anderson
He's got bionic ears you see. He can turn 'em off and on at will.
Jaxson Butler
That's pretty retarded, why retcon something so major? What a mess.
Jonathan Rodriguez
>Eldrad >greatest JUST AS PLANNer alive >greatest psyker alive >implying he can just be kill even if it happens "on-screen"
even if it wasn't retconned it's silly he ain't got a hundred of contingencies, illusions, deceptions, etc, to survive anything and fool anyone. heck, even his contingencies have contigencies.
Lincoln Wood
Because Eldar players would riot and burn down GW stores all over the world.
Nathan Long
Because like with Storm of Chaos in Fantasy oh so many years ago, the end result of the Campaign did not turn out how GW actually intended it to go. Though to a much less extreme extent in 40k's case.
Dominic Morgan
hm, that's pretty badass
Chase Myers
Slaanesh herself came for him inside the Blackstone Fortress. You can't escape a god.
Caleb Ward
This was before or after the Tau killed her?
Jacob Nelson
5th really, the 6E Eldar codex just made it even more blatant by removing all the stuff from the previous (4th edition) version about his death.
Aiden Cruz
40k 8ed will be the equivalent of Warhammer fantasy end times if they only made the first 4 books, stopped there and kept that the status quo for now. Everything gets way worse, major changes are made, some characters are killed off, but they won't play it all the way to the conclusion
Connor Miller
>Slaanesh a her >Going inside a Blackstone Fortress >Tau Killed Slaanesh >Killing a God
Chase Cruz
you can, when you're a clever guy and god in question is a dumb bitchwhore.
Jacob Lee
Stop it.
You will cause newfags to get confused and become more retarded
Dylan Sanders
It was complicated.
William Moore
The Harlequins can.
Robert Hill
I'd run the shit out of Magical Lyrical Alicia Domina.
Cooper Morales
that is really something adorable.
Jackson Ortiz
thats all well and good, but are we getting any elf waifus?
Anthony Wood
lel, I'm not even a newfag and I'm confuse
Leo Hall
>Killing off their cash cow just because AOS is doing somewhat decently now? You have to be an actual retard to think that. You really underestimate GW or don't know anything about their decisions in last ten years.
Brandon Rivera
No.
40K IS GOING GO FULL ANIME.
Adrian Gomez
>Tau Killed Slaanesh >Killing a God some tau fought a bunch of chaos crazies who kept hollering SLAANESH so when they killed the daemon leading the bunch they thought that was slaanesh
Nicholas Myers
But anime has plenty of waifus.
Jacob Bailey
>they
It was one guy. The commander. He just said something to the effect that whatever Slaanesh was, he had no place in a place claimed by the Greater Good.
Owen Nguyen
Not in this ANIME.
There is only HYPE and FIRYAAAH!
Zachary Cruz
it's strange it didn't before. stuff like spacemarines, eldar, tau, titans, etc. is like straight out of anime.
Christian Thompson
No but I bet Sigmar can fuck her until she turns good
Sebastian Fisher
On second thought...
Julian Evans
web.archive.org/web/20050426181419/http://uk.games-workshop.com/tau/background/2/ >I myself spoke to our captive at length and was to learn many things, which I will spare you the full horror of. It is enough to say that he claimed to serve a dark master, a being known as Slaanesh, a being who is the antithesis of all the Tau believe in. It appears that his servants are actively encouraged to pursue hedonistic pursuits and that the concept of a Greater Good is abhorrent to them. Such a creature will never submit to the Tau empire and must be destroyed lest his subversive dogma be allowed to spread. It appears that this being is one of some considerable power as it was he (or she – the subject claimed both genders for its master) who had claimed Ke’lshan as his own. I brought the distasteful questioning to an end as the prisoner appeared to take an unhealthy pleasure in the interrogation techniques I was forced to employ. Before terminating the captive, I was able to extract the location of the main force of this Slaanesh and formed up my forces, ready to engage this depraved foe.
>At the centre of the horde stood a giant in electric blue armour, edged in gold and pink. I took this to be none other than Slaanesh him or herself and vowed to personally defeat this vile creature.
>Together with my escorting Shas’vre, I fought through the centre of the horde and linked with the bloodstained Kroot to surround Slaanesh. Now, as any student of mine from Kais-shi will tell you, I am a Tau little given to flights of fancy or romantic notions of beauty, but as I faced this being in shocking pinks and blues, I was very nearly entranced by the colours and heady musks that seemed somehow to permeate my battlesuit. I quickly threw off such notions and dispatched the villain with a shot from my fusion blaster.
Aiden Gutierrez
Does this mean the Emperor and Archoan are going to have a fist fight while galaxy size
Henry Long
Are we getting Thighfus in 40k?
Aiden Parker
Probably.
Caleb Walker
Yes, yes they will
Tyler Morales
Going from a reactionary playerbase perspective? Sure, 40k End Times may very well feel like a thing.
Going from the perspective with anyone with a lick of how actual business reality works? Not at all.
GW does make some idiotic decisions from time to time from a business viewpoint (like the fact that for a time they thought videogames were direct competetion for some reason instead of easy marketing). But they aren't suicidal.
Seriously, as dumb as GW can act I honestly don't see how anyone would think they would risk a reset of 40k when there isn't any reason for it. As much as people whine about it potentially dropping like Fantasy did the actual financials says otherwise.
That would actually be fun to see. Gurren Lagann 40k style would at least be entertaining. Especially without Abaddon being the End Lord. Say what you will about Archaon's motivations, at least he can be pretty cool at times.
Jace Morales
Maybe the piece of Ynnead that survived Eldrad's latest fuckup. Or Alicia Dominica comes back with wings and a toga, having ditched the power armor. Or both.
Noah Rogers
Jain Zar/Guilliman otp.
Eli Howard
Really I don't think 40k end times will end with a reboot like WF rather a time skip with the Imps being broken apart and everyone lunches their own great crusade
Jonathan Green
You just give them some kind of unique demon to fill the same role or you just don't give every faction one.
Isaac Rodriguez
"They all realized they fucking useless compared to men and would be better off supporting the Imperium by breeding more children instead of trying to fight things that completely over whelm them constantly while they cry about how it's their period and they totally didn't need that Space marine chapter to save them for the 27th time this week"
Aaron Taylor
It's the Age of Sigmar, except for 40k this time around. Start hoarding those old minis and codexes, they'll be worth a lot in a couple of years.
Juan Martin
Don't you understand, yynead will somehow fashion the souls that made him up whilst still preserving himself to make super wraith guard and win the world with them
Lucas Rivera
Where is Corvus?
:(
Noah Williams
I feel like ynnead will still be there, but as a Daemon primarch or laughing God level deity and not something that could actually BTFO slaanesh. The craft world eldar aren't being squatted but I can see the story moving to the point where they get desperate enough to have to join the dark eldar. Who will also suffer a major blow when Khaines gate finally breaks open and they have to flee from commoragh
Cooper Wood
Except Magnus and Ahriman are both racing towards the Black Library with their own goals, just because someone didn't join Abbadon doesn't mean they wont show up, we are getting a swarmy vs Ghazzy showdown afterall
Julian James
Fuck.
Off.
Ayden Reed
Are they going to retcon 13th Black Crusade for EoT 2.0 just like results of the Storm of Chaos for EoT 1.0?
Isaac Nguyen
>Primarchs and Demon Primarchs are coming to 40K >Primarchs >>We will be seeing The Lion, Russ, Guilliman, Khan MY BODY IS READY
Isaiah Martin
obviously
a real fucking travesty, too. EoT was the crowning moment of Andy C's 40k.
Brandon Ramirez
Lady and gentlemen.
We have our Teclis for the 40k endtimes...
Cooper Reed
Horseshit. I'll believe it when Chaos Space Marines get plastic havocs and space marines get toughness 5.
Jonathan Carter
did you really made the connection just now?
next you'll be surprised when vect becomes the incarnation of khaine.
