Let's Roll a 40k Hive Gang

Lately I've seen many thread about the "Big Guys", but what about the common folks? What about the little imperial citizien and it's many burdens?

Roll a d100 for what type of Gang we are.

We are using the Gang Creation Table from the Hua Yuan page,

Rolled 12 (1d100)

Uh huh sure

Communal: Naturally occurring gangs that come from a sense of community, desire for prosperity, or simply as a way of life.

Like a big and loving family. Except with guns.

How big is our turf?

Roll a 1d100.

Rolled 11 (1d100)

Rollan

11 - Tiny, a mod of -20 to our turf.

47 - Medium, a mod of 0

Which one, my dear street-brothers?

I purposely deleted my post to go with the first roll

It seems the 47 got deleted, so it looks like we're tiny.

Well, the 47 has been deleted, so we go with 11!

another 1d100 - 20 for the final result regarding our empire.

Rolled 18 + 20 (1d100 + 20)

Rollan for territory

Neat

I told it to SUBTRACT 20 and it added 20 instead for some reason

>minus 2 territory

1 -hab Blocks

Seems like we aren't the biggest fish in the pond. But even we have some nice traditions!

Roll a 1d100 for our Special Equipment.

Rolled 100 (1d100)

Just remove 20 manually

100 - roll Twice.

Uh, we are tiny, but we are special!

Roll 2 d100!

Rolled (1d00)

I hope we get something good

Rolled 69, 26 = 95 (2d100)

Womp womp

69 (eh.) - Augmented Gangers

26 - Defined uniforms.

We like the chrome and we dress dapper.

A d100 to determine how Law Abiding citiziens we are.

Rolled 16 (1d100)

Rolled 15 (1d100)

I like the combo there, seems we have at least some money to play around with

I guess we're like a really small mob, but everyone dresses like mob bosses.

15,16 - Law Abiding

We respect the LAW, or we never got caught.

A 1d100 for our secrecy.

(Forgive me if I fuck up the dice roll, I'm new)

I'll go cry in a corner now I guess.

dice+1d100 in the options field, buddy

Rolled 89 (1d100)

rolling

Thanks user

Rolled 85 (1d100)

I think we might be some sort of private security firm for the Ad-Mechs or some other industrial overlord.
>We keep the factories safe.

we're sneaky as fuck

Honestly I'm more thinking small gang that just happened to get ahold of something crazy like maybe a dreadnought

89, 85 - Mysterious/Unknown

We are a secretive bunch, but where our influence spread?

roll a d100 to find out!

Honestly your idea is shit

Rolled 15 (1d100)

I don't know very much about 40k, I just like these kinds of threads.

>small gang has a dreadnought
this would be like the irl Bloods suddenly coming into posession of the fucking Yamato

AND a worked-up crew to deploy it

Rolled 65 (1d100)

Rolled 8 (1d100)

attempting to roll
I'm taking this as confirmation that my idea is good seeing as it is better than that anons idea.

8,15 - Homeless Network

For a ration or two, these guys will tell you news form across several hab blocks, just watch you wallet, shoes, and anything else they could steal.

It seems we roll with the beggars.

What are our ambitions? What we want?!

Roll a 1d100

15?

Rolled 72 (1d100)

Cool, we reclaimators, tech-kings of the hobos.
Wait... how come you didn't count the 65?

>tfw some of my tables are being used

Rolled 21 (1d100)

Honestly I am feeling a secret society of the rich in the hab, populated by the young, bored offspring they wear flashey matching uniforms and augment themselves so that they can hold their own when they go down to fend off the scummier gangs without losing too many members.

Like the Skull and Bones Club if it got into territory disputes

65- The Masses: The people obey you, out of fear or love, and sometimes both

I saw 2 rolls in the same category and went with that. Usually in this kind of threads we go with the first results

72 - Blood Rivalries: Ancient family feuds give way to full fledged factions, hellbent on destroying their sworn enemies.

21 - Protection of the Community: However skewed their methods, at the root of the organization is to protect and provide for their home, expanding it or isolating it.

I vote for the 72-Blood Rivalries

Both interesting, I will let you decide.

Next is...a 1d100 for the Dedication of our members.

Rolled 93 (1d100)

I hope we're loyal fuckers.

Rolled 80 (1d100)

Here's hoping for absolute loyalty

nice

It feels really cool, guy

I was thinking, maybe there could be a table for Noble House? Not too sure, but it got suggested in another thread

ill need a bit of explanation there, like what the houses are.

Blood Rivals 1 vote
Protection 0 votes

93 - Ganger to the Grave

we're not nobleborn, we're a community

I like the idea of a Montague/Capulet noble house feud that takes it to the underhive to keep up appearances

SOrry I fucked up, the only time in the tables when you need to roll a d10 instead of a d100

Roll a 1d10, sorry guys

1/8

voting for Ganger to the Grave

7 - Aggressive: Members destroy property and rob unsuspecting citizens, leaving them in a bloody pulp, if alive at all.

1 - Vigilante: In the more lawless areas of the Hive, these gangers are there to lend a hand to those in need. Fighting off other gangers, doing public service projects, or just helping with menial tasks, these "gangers" are a boon to society.

3 - Agreeable: While certainly criminals, they carry an almost pleasant demeanor, working well with others outside their gang.

6 - Irritable: Easily provoked into violence, members have a short temper and a quick trigger finger.

are we Techno-Beggar-Batmen?

A small group of tech savvy orphans who banded together as a makeshift family use their skills to upgrade themselves into a tightly knit team of cyborg vigilantes ought to help and gain the respect of the community?

Roll for our assets. Since we are a Tiny Gang, we get 2! Roll 4d6. First One that rolls get chosen.

Rolled 1, 4, 3, 6 = 14 (4d6)

Also ganger to the grave

1, 4 - Legitimate Work

One of your gangers actually does some meaningful work for the administratum that aids the Segmentum Solar

3, 6 Gambling Den
Your gang runs a gambling den in the underhive. The income is good but risky, Underhivers are notorious cheats and bad losers who'd rather pull a knife than pay up.

Legitimate work.

It's where we get all our nice stuff, the Administratum isn't going to miss it for a few centuries.

Legitimate work

As far as having a "noble" gang it isn't a specific house per say it's just that the gang is populated by Nobles, it explains where they get their money for their fancy dress and augmetics and it gives the younger blood of the noble houses a place where they can build connections that will last their lifetime and experience among the lower classes. Along with a way to relieve tensions away from the Arbites, which explains why they police their own stomping grounds

Rolled 1, 5, 4, 1 = 11 (4d6)
