Fucking knife ears...

Fucking knife ears. Turn your back for one minute and they're using forbidden antediluvian blood magic and dragon meat to try to resurrect people.

New chapter is out?!

I know, right?
We included them in the Alliance, and LOOK AT THAT, they rend the veil of magic asunder, unleashing elemental chaos into the world! "All in the name of magical progress" MY ASS!

What you say about me?!

I was also surprised by this plot twist.

There was a thread last Wednesday. I missed it as well.

Well she succeeded, didn't she?

>knife ears
>spamming this comic like you want people to hate it.

Quit being a faggot already.

You can fucking taste the CAME BACK WRONG.

...

I happened to look at the thread for it last week even though I never read the comic before and I was really surprised that that didn't happen. I decided that I didn't know how serious the comic was to know it would go there, but it seemed like the obvious thing that was going to happen but it seemed like everything turned out right.

what is this?

So there was a biblical flood in that setting? Also was there blood magic in the bible during the flood?

So what are religions like in Dungeon Meshi?

The elves were a world power until they fucked up and happened. Now the younger races are building sex cauldrons on their holy places and they can't do anything to stop it.

Typical elf stuff, really.

You have encountered: Hungry Adventurer x 2

Command?

Dungeon Meshi

The premise is that poor adventurers save money on rations by eating things they find in the dungeon. A dungeon has an ecosystem.

>Studies dark magic like using other species flesh to resurrect someone
>balks at eating monsters
What happened to nice innocent dungeon crafting?

They say in the manga that they usually use goat or pig meat in the non-forbidden version of resurrection. It's probably required for any type of raising the dead.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. She's a naturalist but a survivalist to a point.

Just when you need biomass. If it's just getting shot through the brain you don't need any meat.

>marshil

Well, one of their tenets is 'don't eat flowers growing out of soil that is immediately close to recently dead people's bodies', apparently.

Scanlations come up with some real nonsense when official translations aren't available yet.

See: Sink, protagonist of Dog Days.

I'll eat my fucking hat if there isn't anything wrong with her post dark resurrection ritual, but I'd love for it to just never come up and she was right about there being no "black magic" just magic.

There's a reason why we have the saying "around elves, watch yourselves"

Of course, this could apply to any racial being really.

>around dwarves, throw em in the wharf
>around trolls, watch your sweetrolls
>around gnomes, lock up your homes
>around dragons, stay in the wagons
>around mages, first collect your wages.

we could go on really.

Her eyes are open.

Her eyes were never open in the flashbacks.

I love the range of emotions the artist has been able to convey with her characters, really shows a degree of expertise you don't get too often anymore.

Around druids, watch your daughters, because there's always that one who's young, handsome and has that look in his eyes that tells you he spends just a wee bit too much time as a wolf.

Manga is so hit or miss with me now. Some things are so sloppily drawn I can't stand it even if the story is good, and others are masterfully drawn, but have dragging plots.

Link to the new chapter?

Knowing how weird the whole BBC porn scene is I shudder to think what would happen in a world of trolls.

It's on Batoto you lazy shit.

I processed BBC as in "British Broadcasting Company" at first.

At this point it would be more interesting

Try and talk to them, since that's the only thing that has ever stopped them from eating something they wanted do eat.

You innocent man, I admire you. I do however wish my own porn fetishes were more common.

Well, I imagine that a porn studio based in a D&D setting would be pretty interesting

>"Wait, you want me to do WHAT with the horse?"
>"Excuse me! I'm not a horse, im a centaur you racist bastard!"
>"Sorry if I don't feel comfortable with this scene, but that ain't gonna fit inside me. I'm a fucking gnome!"
>"Look, guys, it'll be okay, I promise! All we need is some one from the special magical effects department to cast grease and enlargement on you and you should be fine!"
>"In that case, I want double pay for this scene! Who writes this crap anyways? probably some lonely fat dwarven bastard still living in his mom's mine."

...

I mean bare minimum she's going to have some dragon traits.

I'm struggling to come up with one for humans

around normies, be careful of the hornies?

Around humes, assume doom.

>around humans watch your crewman/roomin'
>around human start assumin'
>around humans call Harry S. Truman

They're basically the same thing at this point.

Something went wrong with the spell. I am sure of it.
I bet that the sister have been revived as some kind of emotionless psycho or she is missing organs and is dying.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN ?

As some observant /a/nons have pointed out when this chapter was released:
She's closing the eye the dragon lost and keeps touching her throat, the place where the dragon got stabbed.

prevailing theory is dragon isn't just a normal beast and has a soul, and doing the revive this way has merged his sister's soul and the dragon's soul into a single entity

>didn't bring her clothes
Next chapter: How to tan dragon hide.

Yeah, problem is that Marcille sucks at priest-type spells, so she had to use one within her own field of study to succeed.

Could be cool if she gets some kind of control over whatever power that brings. Then again maybe she will run off and become their new goal, to find her, stop her, and save her.

She was raised from the dragon's flesh. She's probably feeling sympathetic pain because of it. Who knows, maybe she got a few more memories from "the other body".

Magic is pretty mixed up in Dungeon Meshi, right?
It's all magic, with different sub-fields.
She's going full draconic sorcerer.

I don't recognize that one, which chapter is it from? I thought I got them all.

Unfortunately I think it's a red herring. There is the possibility it's just that her throat hurts from coughing up all that blood and that her eye just has something in it, like all the blood she is still covered in.

Farlyn's eyes have never been drawn opened before.

THE OPEN EYES ARE A BAD SIGN, user

Chapter 1, like two pages after they meet Senshi.

Would make sense by revive rules we have seen so far.

Your soul is connected to your body based on how much of your body is intact. The body that was revived was 80% dragon.

Go full 1001 nights on them.

Probably just forgot, then

Why would you lie on the internet, user?

I will cum buckets if, for once, it truly is all magic and there is nothing wrong with her.

I really want a happy ending for this

it's elves and it's japanese user, there's hardly ever a happy ending

Not this shit again.
>regains breath after days or weeks of being dead
>vomits fucking blood
>touches her throat in one single panel because it hurts
SHE'S THE DRAGON. NOBODY IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND HAS EVER TOUCHED HIS THROAT EXCEPT WHEN HE WAS WOUNDED THERE IN A PREVIOUS LIFE

The open eyes could simply mean that she's confused as fuck, out of her element.

But in the meantime
>does a FORBIDDEN ritual
>uses own blood
>draws a satanic circle with it
>becomes spooky and sexy
>creepy eyes
>passes out
You all fall for a red herring, something is happening to the elf. The imouto-drama is over, that arc is finished. Time for something new.

You don't do a full close up page with the focus on throat and eye pain JUST because of that, especially with all the foreshadowing of "SOULS MIGHT GET TANGLED UP!!!"

That was actually never stated.

here's the thing user, when she wakes up she calls laius brother and name calls the others.
How would the dragon know that his current body is related to laius while also knowing the names of the other people?

Because she knows Marcille and Chilchack. But she had to be introduced to Senshi. So, can we end this now?

This is how the Zombie movie starts...

I'll be honest, the drawing style has changed a bit, so I halfway thought it was a page from a hentai parody until I double-checked.

>becomes spooky and sexy
wasn't she always the latter?

>no more until october
i'm hurting inside, but it also gives me time to draw plenty of fanart.

>>touches her throat in one single panel because it hurts
Nope, she keeps touching it.

Elves in this world are at best untrustworthy.

At last they will cook the fucking dragon.

>established earlier that smooth hair is a good conduit for magic
>runs her dragon blood-stained fingers through her hair while casting an ancient powerful ritual
It's the little things.

This is either not her throat anymore or it just floats in front of her neck. All she talks about is that she's cold and hungry, so until we get a panel of her talking that she suffers kind of phantom pain there it remains pure speculation.

fuck, missed that, that's so good! man, this manga is the best.

>implying all elves in this setting arn't necromancers like marcille.
>implying they arn't collectively sick of being liches that have to pretend they are just long lived as fuck.

>primordial magic runs on the exact opposite track as modern magic
i like it, i need to run this concept in a game sometime.

Pretty nice.

"It's cold."
Comparably to a dragons body I bet a human body is basically frozen.

>sex cauldrons on their holy places
Wat
Is this innuendo

>It's just a scanlation problem
Let's talk about Belldandy and Roronoa Zolo.

You know and I know that the problem is mangu translators are horrible otaku who have no skills or interests outside animu and thus don't even grasp the references the artists themselves are making.

or because they're being held naked against a metal breastplate

People freaked out about a lot of stuff in this comic, and I don't think their predicted fears ever come to a head.

She's naked, with wet cooling blood covering her, and he is wearing metal. Of course "it's cold".

>that picture
cleverer than expected

I think the hints are piling up.
Also the manga has been consistent in not letting Marcile be actually useful.

I'm guessing magic in Dungeon Meshi runs on some sort of order/chaos axis. And since it's magic, there's probably a lot of mysticism you have to stick too (for instance keeping clean to cast order magic. I'm willing to bet that spiritualism also plays a roll into the effectiveness of healing and ghost spells, which is why Farlyn is so much better at it than Marcille)

>Also the manga has been consistent in not letting Marcile be actually useful.
That's completely wrong, though. Have you read past the first three chapters?

Go back to Goblin Slayer, edgelord.

Yes and she's consistently been a burden. She's saved the group, but if anyone fucks up, it's Marcile.

I tthink it was stated when they were speaking about undead.

...

I see nothing wrong here.

As long as they won't catch something that turns them into chaotic evil jerks then I'm OK with it.

>the hints are piling up
what hints. A wet naked person being cold when pressed up against metal? Someone opening their eyes when we've seen them do it before? Holding the throat after vomiting up a litre of blood?

it's not like you can even point to this resurrection being aberrant, because despite the black magic there's literally nothing else to compare it to

Dunno if she's the dragon. Maybe it's actually a side effect of using dragon meat?

You know, cellular memory and such.

She wasn't really a burden. For that she must have slowed them down, stressed their ressources or her misbehavior must have harmed them in any way. Aside from chapter two or three in which her explosion magic has gone wrong I can't think of anything in which she really fucked up. Sometimes her explosion magic wasn't as effective as she wished, but it's not like Laius' sword and Senshis axe are magical problem solvers as well. But there are several incidents in which her magic saved them.

Are, uh.... sorry. Are her eyes close with her eyebrows detailed. or have her eyes gone white and eyebrows just disappeared?

Well obviously I want it to be true and I make up a theory using facts that are flimsy at best but points in that direction. However, if it would come to that we would have gotten hints. But objectively speaking, yeah my proof is flimsy. We will se in a few chapters won't we?

That's a spirit, a ghost, possessing someone. Until it will be established that a dragon ghost was possessing Farlyn while she was eaten, it's a different matter.
