Last time, on Dragon Ball Tuffle Quest Z! You talked Vegeta out of attempting to wish for immortality, and learned of the risk involved in the Dragon Balls. You also learned that Vegeta might have quite a surprise coming for him, given what Shao told you. Finally, you brought up something to Bulma: investigating the Ki Absorbers King Piccolo once had.
With Goku looking over the kids for today, spending some time with Yamcha and Pantea, you and Bulma have taken a trip to Baba's place. While your brother was curious as to what you were up to, he declined coming with. Juuuust a bit too morbid for him. To your surprise though, you aren't the only ones there. You smile a bit when you sense the presences of Spike with Melee and Gola, but start scratching your head curiously when you notice Tien and Launch are there.
Bulma steps out of her plane and rubs her eyes. "Ugh. It's Fall, does it really have to be this warm?"
"You ARE in the middle of a desert, Bulma. Near the equator, at that." you note, heading in with her.
Bulma runs her fingers through her purple hair and mumbles. "Maybe we should have tried for the mech suit..."

You still find it curious. "Say, Bulma, mind if we check on Tien and Launch first? I'm curious about what they're doing here."
"If it's out of this heat, I'll take it." she sighs.
"It's not THAT warm." you respond, heading in.
You see the usual suspects around. Nobody taking Baba's challenge this time, so looks like her fighters have some time to kill. Man-Wolf and Sukesan are playing cards, the two of them giving a passing nod as you and Bulma head in. Tien and Launch are further along, conversing.
"I... I'm still not sure about this." Launch comments, frowning as she twirls a finger in her blue hair.
"It's been eating at you, Launch, and we both know it's been buried deep in there. She can at least get you some information on if we should look into it or not." Tien states with a concerned look upon his face.
"Hey guys, what's the occasion?" you ask with an innocent smile, Bulma greeting them respectfully. Their spirits seem to lift a bit.
"Ah, Maple, it's... well, Tien and I were talking yesterday and we kind of realized that there's something in my mind that's... missing." She looks down heavily. "...I don't remember my childhood. At all. Neither of me do."
