On monday I accidentally bought $42 Dec 8 MU calls instead of Jan 19 calls. Panic sold them for a small profit on tuesday. God fucking dammit.

It happens, I did that with FIT when it was still in the $5.00 range. Ended up jumping to the high $6.00 range a couple days later

It's called RICK. They operate strip clubs and are up 120% YTD. They have earnings coming up some time next week and I feel like they'll pop. They popped on earnings this time last year and most analysts have over $40 price targets. Good morning /rhg/. I am playing with a flagrant pump and dump stock right now. Quantum Cobalt (QBOT). The company isn't even bad, it's just that the market has decided this will be the town bike (everybody gets a ride) the past couple months. It dropped from ~1.85 late yesterday and this morning down to a low of 1.31 and an RSI of 9. I have an order to buy at 1.38 and it has been getting close but not touching that number just yet.

Anyway, this will be a rocket ride back to around 1.80 again in a few days.

Well, I've looked at AMRS for about 3 weeks now, and TL;DR, their company failed because of their jet fuel business and shit ass management.

Crude dropped $100 to like $30 last yr, and they just entered the jet fuel market, and doing jet fuel from biosynetheics is like super unprofitable.

Now they are switching to sweetener sugar, so may have deals with Coca or someshit like that, I believe they are doing the same sugars as Coca Life to these beverage companies. I believe this isn't announced yet.

They are also utilizing synthetic biology for vitamins, and also for their Sephora make up line.

Management now is looking at how they can best allocate resources to the most profitable areas, and just exiting the jet fuel.

They also borrowed a lot of $ to make the company stay afloat before and some of it are convertible debt into common shares, there was discussion that some ppl are wary about the dilution, but I think the dilution is very minimal threat.

Overall from the last ER, they paid off their debt and returning into profitability. They are in better condition than previous year.

They are still operating at a loss, but they are turning it around.

that's why we all say it is a HODL.. 6 months to 2 yrs, not a daily swing thing.

This isnt some penny stock speculation, we as investors have to look at the last few years, what they said they were going to do, if they did it.. look at all the deals they sign and how much guaranteed revenue they have coming in, look at their expenses and if theyre going up or down.. look at the overall market to see if it matches their claims.

so in AMRS case, the attached picture may not be 100% accurate, but it is almost guaranteed to be close to it based on their current deals.

this isn't gambling.
Ive traded for 6 years, doing day trades is more gambling, doing swing trades is more gambling.. year long holds are as safe as it gets.

the most important thing here is that most Everyone on this board will lose money continuously trying to day trade and swing trade.
But will make more money than they ever had doing longer term plays or value investing.

Their financial position was worst off last year, and it was trading at $13 a share or something like that.

Their current financial position is MUCH better currently, and foretasted to get better and better as time goes on. and their stock price is much lower than last yr.

Do some research, some dude named finalthought on stocktwits talks about this stock daily, and he provides pretty solid information.

As I said, that's why I am holding for minimum 6 months to see where this goes.

I only entered this stock like 3 weeks ago, some ppl lost a lot of $ as they bought this a yr or two ago.

I can't predict the stock price. could goto $2 next month, or $8.. who knows. it's up to you when you think it is a good buy.
