On Mighty Thews is pretty fun and it's easily adaptable to whatever the fuck you need. I lacks a little balance but it's great.
But I've played like 6 games in total so I don't know much about others anyway
Second on Risus
Apocalypse World.
Also, why do these threads only attract quick statements, either obvious trolls or genuine answers? Why does OP or anyone else try to make a discussion?

Probably this, but

OP said "name", not "give an in-depth summary". I noticed that you didn't say anything about AW other than giving the title.
Battletech
Seconded, this is good times
I don't know if I'd consider AW rules light, if it is then I change my answer from to MonsterHearts, but I don't think it is

I wish it was lighter. I really like Apocalypse World but there are too many mechanics, and like FATE has shown, stacking too many mechanics in a narrative game rapes it utterly.
Apoc World's strength is in using its core mechanic for a variety of things, i love the harm moves, the basic moves, the choices it gives the GM while still limiting the GM and setting up this great story framework without using metacurrency or other gay shit. In other words, it is a narrative roleplaying game that still promotes roleplaying and keeps the meta-shit to a minimum.
Most of the spin-offs are fucking atrocious but Apoc World is pretty good, so long as you accept it as a good game on its own terms and don't try to pretend it's the end-all-be-all of RPGs like the nu male bloggers on Reddit do.
out of curiosity which rules would you remove?
I don't know. That's the issue. I was hoping with 2e he'd re-design things from the ground up and organize the rules better. If you read his forum descriptions of play, loads of people are commenting "where the fuck do I find this in the rules?"
He is a brilliant man with good ideas but he should learn to idiot-proof them and communicate them better. And I think Apocalypse World is well-written, it's just somewhat badly organized. Admittedly it is also a very different game so that is understandable.
MAID, by far
