I've been trying to start running a campaign based on this setting with a few modifications.
As far as roleplaying music goes, anyway.
Best live album ever made.
I was quite partial to Night at the Opera.
Under the Ice is one of my favourite songs ever
been jamming this lately
...
Love me some fucking Nox Arcana
>not tales from the twilight world
pleb
Why lie?
For just music in general or directly related to Veeky Forums?
Because if you're asking about Veeky Forums related, you've already posted it.
Archspire- The Lucid Collective
I like metal as much as the next guy
but old school hip hop is to fucking good
I'm jamming to Gloryhammer at the moment.
youtube.com
I totally want to run a Rogue Trader/Dark Heresy or Stars Without Numbers game based on the album.
...
My nigga
We need more balls to the wall over-the-top crazy science fantasy, with cyborg barbarian Hollywood movie stars
oh shit I havent heard power metal this tasty in forever
>Carbon Based Lifeforms
>Hydroponic Garden
>electronica genre
Just incredibly relaxing and yet fills my mind with inspiring imagery.
One can always get their blood pumping with some Manowar.
This. Sanctified with dynamite actually convinced me to play an explosives hucking cleric.
I can't choose one, here's 4
In absentia
In keeping secrets of silent earth
The raven that refused to sing
Heritage
Summoning Master race
...
It might work for a Kult campaign...?

Pic related.
or this.
Most of NIN's catalogue is superb. Nothing beats this one though.
I prefer Korven Kuningas, but excellent taste nonetheless.
Excellent choice as well, user. I'm biased toward Manala because it got me into the band, but I can honestly listen to any of there songs at a given time. Their sound is fantastic.
...
Rime of the Ancient Mariner will never be topped
Good taste
They make surprisingly great RPG music, especially their instrumental songs and adaptations of traditional and folk music.
muh fucking niggers
Not only the lyrics are a great parody of a "normal" power metal, it actually sound really good, even tho they have just released 2 albums.
If they will keep being so great they might become my favourite power metal band, now only Blind Guardian is better.
but still my favourite album is propably The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars and it's not related to Veeky Forums in any way
It's the best kind of parody - the kind that's just played straight to a ridiculous degree. The people who don't take it seriously can laugh at it, the people who do can still have fun anyway.
mah nigga
Summoning is great ambience when playing shit like TES.
King's X is my jam.

I wish there was more pagan folk I could find that's similar to Gwydion Pendderwen: youtube.com
Everything that comes up is is pagan folk metal, not just folk.
No one has ever claimed that I'm not a pleb when it comes to music. But a pleb who likes things.
...
Works for 40k and Lamentations of the Flame Princess.
These fucking motherfuckers. youtube.com
Listen to them. It's the sound of sadness and triumph all mixed together. It's perfect for the games I want to run.
I think it's tied up in Spanish nationalism or something though, 'cause all their videos have loads of dislikes. Or maybe they're just illegal rips or something.
Almost forgot Susumu Hirasawa.
>youtube.com
Literally doesn't have a bad song to worldbuild to.
Good shit user. Shame like half the items they sing about have been removed though
Good fucking taste
>only one album released
It was pretty good,I'm sad they are not continuing this
Traditional Games by Traditional Games

Vektor - Terminal Redux
This one is particularly spicy, since it's brand fucking new

Vektor rules
You're a cool guy user.
All time favorite.

Imagine a shadow run game run by killah priest
These 2 albums really opened my fucking eyes to hip hop and all the shit I missed over the years since I claimed most rap was "nigger speak nonsense"
youtube.com
but if we postin rap albums now.....

It's what got me into power metal.
You know what I hate about some power metal bands.
You got these high octane songs then you just get these slow as fuck songs.
The only power metal band who pulls it off correctly is Blind Guardian
tbf, if I had to pick from Carmen Miranda's Ghost, I'd pick the eponymous song, Spacer's Home, and Space Hero cause they're fun craic, Dawson's Christian cause it's a classic, Sam Jones, One Last Battle, Guardians and Some Kind of Hero (especially the latter), cause of feels
Also, I've never read Alliance-Union And I probably won't cause Mallory's apparently a Mary-Sue, but I really dig Signy Mallory
youtube.com
Fite me IRL, I dare any of you.
Little or nothing to do with Veeky Forums's as I play them (Mostly I do sword and sorcery) but I'd sure as hell stick some Big Black on the soundtrack to some OTT Punk rockers versus the living dead (and everybody else) game - maybe run in White Wolf Hunter, or BRP for granular bodily mutilation as befits a zombie game.
A hard fight with a gang of rogue army guys in a technical with a case of disposable rocket launchers would go down to Bazooka Joe, and I know it.

Since I was 14. Greatest heavy metal album of all time.

Link went wonky, ignore.
These lyrics are fucking aces
Fantastic use of iambic pentameter as well
Thousand Foot Crutch's rap rock epic "Set it off"
I've never been partial to gansta rap. More like Jungle Brothers, De La Soul, and A Tribe Called Quest

So Veeky Forums they have there own table top models
Finally, someone outside of that pit jp of all places, and the Monster Girl thread at that with good taste in music!
I remember they had them at a show I went to in the early 2000s cheap and I didn't buy them. They're ugly but in that charming Warzone/Heartbreaker way
I like alot of kinds
I guess it'd have to be this one.
I mostly listen to singles, soundtracks, classical music, etc. Not really "albums".
>dont listen to albums
>posts a damn good album
I didn't contradict myself, I mostly don't listen to full albums. I still do from time to time.
Right now, Ar=Ciel Ar=Dor.
The worldbuilding is the best part of the game series it's from, and it's an album of nothing but worldbuilding. You want myths? We've got your myths.
Not bad.
Of course it's murder to google the lyrics and get the right result; not as bad as "Porn" alias "The Men Of Porn" though.
definitely this, not even a question:

Loosely based a campaign based off of the themes presented in this, an the literal lyrics. Albeit they were a party of 4, I thought that it went pretty well and still created a feeling of isolation and maybe even fear.
My top 3 has already been posted so I'm posting one that I've been giving a lot of love recently.
I dare you to listen to ghost division and not find it glorious
I always put Ride the Lightening asmy favourite Metallica album. For Whom The Bell Tolls gives me chill.
Battery and Welcome home though...
Wouldn't have it any other way
German thrash is best thrash.
EVERYONE AGAINST EVERYONE
Seconded, And Then There Was Silence is mine
Oh, I dunno, I really love a lot of albums. This one's gotta be up there, off the top of my head.
youtube.com
Their more recent album would probably be more Veeky Forums related, though, it's kind of about the death and rebirth of the soul and the universe? And musically, there's a bit more of a rustic element to it that seems more fantasy-ish
Is there an album more Veeky Forums relevant than this?
My favourite Maiden album will always be Brave New World, there isn't a track I don't love on it.
