Dragon Ball Tuffle Quest Z #48

>You are Maple Son-Mahogany, one of two young Tuffle twins thrown at Earth starting in early Dragon Ball by your "father," Dr. Raichi

>"Canon" had already taken a sharp turn from the "norm" when you began, and through your actions, choices, and dialogue, took even further turns from the "norm," and will probably continue to do so

>Stats and dice mechanics are used, and can be explained again as needed

>Let's all try to have some fun, ok?

Last time, on Dragon Ball Tuffle Quest Z! You and Bulma analyzed the Ki Container that once belonged to King Piccolo, discovering the process that it uses to actually contain Ki. Next up, you stepped up your own training, learning about Chuu Lee's progress as your own kids and Videl get some training from her. After learning of the Aquma from Beelzebub, you eventually give Gohan and Peppa a special Christmas gift: their first Spells.

The new year. The World Tournament is not too far off now. And with a visit from Raditz, well...

"Vegeta's easily a match for me now." the long-haired Saiyan states grimly. "And it doesn't look like his growth is slowing down. We're still about half your strength, Kakarot, but it wouldn't surprise me if he gets to your level by the end of this year. Maybe sooner."

Goku lets out a soft whistle. "Well, have to give him something, those are some good results."

Your daughter has a clearly determined look on her face as she listens to Raditz, then looks to you with a slight, protective tinge of worry. You ruffle her hair softly as Gohan sits by his uncle curiously. Raditz looks to you and continues, "I can tell that you're doing well with your own training, Maple. But do you think you'll be able to face him when the time comes?"

>A. Of course! Champ has to defend her title, after all
>B. If he's getting that strong, strength alone won't be enough to beat him. I'll rely on skills
>C. I don't care if I win or lose at this point, just so long as it's a fair fight
>D. Something else?

>If he's getting that strong, strength alone won't be enough to beat him. I'll rely on skills.

Hi Kato.

>D. Something else?
I've fought stronger foes all my life. Why should this match be any different?

>He wants to beat me. My goal is to not let him beat me. I just need to not lose. That's how I'll win.

>>A. Of course! Champ has to defend her title, after all
But
>>B. If he's getting that strong, strength alone won't be enough to beat him. I'll rely on skills

>A
>B
Hi mom

Let's go!

>B. If he's getting that strong, strength alone won't be enough to beat him. I'll rely on skills

There's always been a huge strength difference between Maple's opponents and herself. But through magic, techniques, and some thinking, she's been able to give a good showing.

Vegeta likes to overthink thinks and stresses out on that.

Anyway we can force him to be overwhelmed with trying to cover so many loose ends?
