I was going to make it a Svalarheima themed thread but I figured ALIVE was more relevant.
Dylan Cox
Look, a guy on /e/ fixed the Foxtrot Ranger!
Pls forgib, I can't into crossboard posting.
Oliver Bell
No! Is Toni!
Camden Sanders
The pose is a lot better.
Josiah Anderson
I think they confirmed it isn't Toni at gencon.
Michael Bennett
TONI ALIVE! WANT TO DECEIVE! TRUTH WILL PREVAIL!
Hunter Gomez
Capitan, who is Toni?
Brody Smith
>Pls forgib, I can't into crossboard posting. Like this IIRC
Jackson Butler
messed it up
Jordan Williams
She died for your sins She was actually a tikbalang pilot character pano had before n3, after that she is "presumed" kill and some say all this alive thing is a teaser for a new miniature of her cloned by Aleph
This and all other questions will be answered in the next episode
No one knows, she just disapered from the lore and the rules
Logan Lopez
The fluff is that she got hit by some special CA hacking program that fried both her brain and her cube. Actual reason is that no one took the regular Tikbalangs because she was so much better, so they merged the units and got rid of her.
Ayden Hughes
Then i would hijack it with the better sectorial,Varuna.
Ice loser
Benjamin Ward
I was actually thinking of the Yu Jing side of Svalarheima with the Huang Di or White Banner Sectorial.
Ryan Lewis
Toni Mayacana was a Tikbalang pilot from way before Tikbalang had a model. In Human Sphere N3 she's been killed of by feedback after an Umbra fried Eduardo's (her Tik) head, melting her Cube beyond repair.
In game she had nearly the same statblock as Tikbalang currently has (I think she had higher WIP and an Lt profile), while regular Tikbalang was cheaper but also a lot weaker. I don't think it even had Climbing Plus or Mines back then.
Ryan Reyes
Carry on then, chinese ice loser
and remember, you are still only second best
Jaxson Diaz
>tfw this qt is OOP
Benjamin Torres
New infinity player, sitting pretty with the operation ice storm box and the merc that came with the rulebook. what should I need to know to be a good nomad player?
Jacob Gray
Pretty much the same stuff you need to be a good anything player. Remember that attack tends to be followed by counter attack, that the best defence is the type that doesn't let them roll straight BS, if at all, and to always have another method available if this one falls through. IIRC Gencon a few years ago. One of the big ones, anyway. The leaderboards apparently had a disproportionate amount of Ariadna camo spam lists, and seeing as that was at the time of the massive growth in the Infinity market, particularly in America. I know the camo spam meme's only something that's really had any traction in 3rd ed, anyway.
James Turner
2 years ago a guy in my meta, Plebian, won Gencon with a spam camo Ariadna list and then made a forum post about how camo was too good.
Everyone ignored him and he won Gencon with Tohaa and just finished second at Interplanetary with Combined, so I think he proved himself wrong.
Zachary Torres
I need some help with list for a tournament I might go to. I play NCA and the tournament will have a good mix of armies and the mission types are Supremacy, Highly classified, Tic Tac Toe
can i get some help building two lists for these missions?
Joshua Campbell
My housemate is good friends with him, I was curious if it was him playing combined this year, but you just confirmed it, thanks user
Blake Gutierrez
NP, just read his writeup on the forums.
Hudson Garcia
Swiss Hacker, Fusilier link and Sensor Deva are the first things I add to a list.
Nolan Miller
A defensive fusilier link?
Anthony Morris
A mix, I usually go 2 specialist, HMG, ML and either a mook or a Lt.
Nicholas Perez

Andrew Collins
>I know the camo spam meme's only something that's really had any traction in 3rd ed, anyway Which is kind of strange since camo was ridiculously op in 2e. Unopposed rolls all day. It's gotten a lot more manageable in N3.
Juan Morris
>Varuna elite black ops has trouble putting down a rebellion of barely sapient alien slaves >Svalarheima collection of random assholes fights second most powerful empire in the sphere to a standstill Waterworld was a mistake.
Wyatt Jones
>ice losers cant push off weak ass chinks of a small portion of their ice ball >sit around all day in their ice holes being racist and not getting shit done >have worst looking TAG in all of PanO >dont have the Cutter
Ice losers on suicide watch
Luke Evans
Yeah, Pan0 sure is using that invisible gundam to its full potential. Those barely trained helot militias sure are dangerous.
Oh wait, I guess they must be dangerous, because waterworlders are still struggling to beat a bunch of moronic fishmen despite having the best equipment Pan0 has to offer. I'm not sure you're in a position to be calling Yu Jing weak when your enemies are retarded sardines.
The Winter Force is a worthy foe, at least by Pan0 standards.
Gabriel Morales
Oh look, buttblasted chinks come out to defent the ice losers.
You guys were made for each other.
Both unworthy, and barely worth noting. Barely the second best.
>laughing Kamau.avi
Aiden Brown
Second best is a lot better than fifth best like Varuna. Oh wait, I meant sixth best. Sorry, forgot about the Earth Bastion.
Ice losers is a terrible name, it barely registers as an insult. It's like something a WIP12 dickhead would come up with.
Lucas Hernandez
Raizot pilot is a real qt
Logan Wright
>Raizot
Friggin Morat-boos, man
Nicholas White
Raicho is a shitty name made by shitty humans. It's a war mech, not a pokemon.
Justin Turner
Fuck i can't wait for the model, because that is pretty sexy.
Brayden Thomas
That not everything is hackable and support hacking is probably more important than assault hacking.
Bentley Wood
Svalarheima has Jotum, Nisse and Joan of Arc. Varuna's signature unit is ORC Troop. I rest my case.
Jace Taylor
>Joan of Arc Where are you getting that from? I'm legitimately curious, I've heard lots about Hospitallers being in Winter Force but nothing about Joan.
James Jones
Can someone share photos of pages with that fluff?
Sebastian Fisher
Just from the fact that Hospitallers are based on Svalarheima, in Skovorodino. We're likely to see Hospitallers, De Fernsen and Joan in Svalaerheima Winter Force.
Wyatt Morales
De Fersen is a possibility, but Joan seems more like a Military Orders exclusive thing. It's likely that Svalarheima will only be able to take 2-3 Hospitallers, much like Montesas in ASA. Their home sectorial is still MO, after all.
William Hernandez
>ORC >Not Cutter, Croc or Kamau I get that you like Vikings, Sven, but don't lie in this thread.
Colton Morales
Yeah, she'll be a cool Morar HVT, because who the fuck takes a raicho?
I like the gujia pilot a lot. Also that dossier confirms guijia for IA...which is kinda obvious I guess given that the guijia looks like a massive zuyong

They have a nice flow to them -at least the tiger hacker, fraacta, and the new bashi bazouk does.
Jaxon Walker

Jacob Miller
>female Wu Ming >but no rifle Wu Ming CB knows YJ players so well. Even when they're answering our prayers they're still giving us things to complain about.
Still not a fan of that pose. It worked well for the Krakot, but it's just a bit silly with him and doesn't match the relaxed Celestial Guards he'll be linking with.
Jeremiah Smith
>Earth Bastion
I fucking wish. What kind of unique troops would they even have, anyway? Swiss Guard?
Benjamin Nguyen
Someone tell me why he's got a plain combi and not a combi/LFT.
Camden Stewart
Kuang Shi please, that is clearly Umbra Samaritan.
Noah Edwards
Sepulchre Knights. That's pretty much it.
Look again at the one on the right. There's a flamethrower and fuel tank under the barrel.
John Roberts
Croc Men are technically not Varuna. Kamau are just fancy LI and they are likely to suffer the same fate as Order Sergeants or Bolts. Cutter is okay, but dies to any shitter with MSV and has an old, top-heavy sculpt, while Jotum is just too big and heavy to be taken down in a fire fight.
I like ORCs and their Varuna colours... But they will always be ORCs.
Jeremiah Reyes
Ffffffffuck they redesigned the combiflamer. Now I'll have to cut one off a Shang Ji and convert.
Cooper Hall
True that. USARF finally gets Marauders, but the poses are all boring as fuck
The third render has a better angle on the combi/lft.
Kayden Gutierrez
>I hate those overly dynamic poses on light, fast deployment troops >I hate all those static poses on heavy, slow troopers
Zachary Adams
>slow and heavy...forward deployed jungle fighters with stealth In a sectorial where even sneaky camo infilatrators and ferocious Devil Dogs are all just standing there looking boring or stupid, some variety would be nice. Not necessarily dramatic or dymanic poses - just more variety.
The Sniper looks alright though.
Liam Lopez
They've redesigned pretty much everything since the Shang Ji. That thing is old as fuck.
Linkable Orcs with ML could be fun. And unless Varuna gets some insanely good HI that can't coexist with Kamau (like Magisters or NCA Guards) then they should be fine.
When he's primarily going to be linked and everyone he can link with has an extremely static pose that constrasts with his, then yeah I don't like him having a half-assed dynamic pose. He's also using his knife with the icepick grip that's just so fucking boring at this point.
Austin Howard
It's almost like the thread is more than one poster.
Connor Hill
The model is, but the same weapon design is on the Xi Zhuang concept art. We'll see, maybe it actually looks good in person, or maybe it's time to recast some old weapons.
Samuel Gray
You can see how it looks painted, the Red Veil Tiger Soldier has the new design and there's a bunch of videos showing it off.
Landon Myers
>Linkable Orcs with ML could be fun. I'll believe in ML ORC when I see it.
As for Kamau, I was thinking more of "get Fusiliers instead, cheaper orders to fuel your ORCs/Cutter/Croc Men".
Adam Stewart
The precedent is there, mang. Zuyong got MLs, Janns got MLs, Brigada got MLs, Minutemen got MLs, and Suryats have a fire fetish so they got HRLs instead. Orcs will get their reactive weapon, you've got to believe in the dream.
As for Kamau, BS16 links are pretty tasty and they're going to be able to get boarding shotguns, which should give them more versatility. We don't know what other changes will be made, so I'll wait and see.
Luis Rivera
BS 16 links are great, but remember that Fusiliers are BS 15 linked, which is not that far behind. Although they're not as great at close range due to their only shotgun being on Bipandra.
Christopher Long
Kamau seem like they'd be more effective at different ranges due to the better/tougher hacker, shotgun profile and various X-visors. Of course, we won't know for sure until all the changes are revealed. Right now the only info we have is the addition of a shotgun profile.
Henry Rodriguez
It's mainly about how many orders. If he had 15 or more he didn't prove himself wrong.
If you have 1.5 to 2 times the orders, camo or not, you have a way better chance of winning.
Landon Parker
Not really. There's definitely an advantage, but it's not that significant if you know how to counter it. It mostly just makes for boring and time consuming games no matter who wins.
Evan Gray
How many orders did your buddy have with the non-kuraw armies?
Michael Smith
IIRC he had 14, which seems pretty average.
18+ is spam, and less than 12 is elite.
John Carter
To beat kurwa? It depends, I've seen a guy beat a 20 order list with 9 orders (he had 10 but a Netrod fell off the board), but I'm fairly sure that was a fluke. I've almost routinely beaten 18-20 orders with around 12 or so, though I tend to play defensively which can really fuck over kurwa.
Kevin Nguyen
It comes down to terrain as well. If 18+ armies are dominating use less. The best armies have 13-16 IMO.
Juan Diaz
Do we have his stats yet? Looks like medium infantry to me based on those legs.
Thomas Roberts
He's light infantry based on Celestial Guards. ARM2, BS12, FO, Number 2, MadTraps, shock immunity and a light flamethrower. He's quite the toolbox.
Jeremiah Evans
Guys can anyone help me with a 300 pts ITS carregidor list ? I want a good list with senior masssacre and 2 jaguars and this killer hacker because i love the models but i dont have a clue with what else should i go with
Elijah Walker
Well, pick a core link. Probably Alguciles.
Then add some power pieces like the Intruder HMG and some specialist pieces like Tomcats and Daktari.
Finally take some defensive pieces like TR HMG and Intruder sniper.
Robert Gray
Alguaciles or Wildcats for linking. Intruder sniper or HMG for shooting through smoke. Then dump a bunch of other shit in the list.
Isaiah Campbell
This is roughly what I remember last time I got stomped by corregidor with Jaguars and Massacre. Moran, Alguacil links, lunokod zonds, etc.
Isaiah Adams
BRING THE PAIN TRAIN
Benjamin Hughes
>Croc Men are technically not Varuna. The regiment has been reformed in honor of the original regiment from paradisio on Varuna surviving vets from the unit trained this one.
Lincoln Collins
A very aggressive i'm working on for some games i'll play this weekend. I think i need more board control than the azrail ARO's and a speed bumb for letting specialists+Ayyar move up.
I can't decide between a minelaying farzan or a fiday. honestly unsure how to fill out the last points, since it's alittle different from how i usually play.
I'll be against 3 other very new PanO,YuJing and Nomad players with no sectorials or TAG's
Elijah Clark
If you're willing to grab some drones I'd recommend adding this and shifting around the groups. Also reread strategos.
