>>Information

This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a twenty-two year old man named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.

>Rules

At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.

In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins

Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.

Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process

I hope everyone has fun.

The next level is quite similar to the previous one, and you can sense a few significant energies here as well. Beyond that, you sense two very familiar powers.

Goku and Krillin have arrived.

But, there's a third, one that also feels familiar, though you can't quite place it. You remember a green fist knocking you out, and this power does feel similar to Piccolo, but not exactly how you remember it.

Maybe Piccolo made more children? But then, why would one of them be working for Kochin? And what are the other powers you're sensing.

At least there are fewer doors to choose from on this floor. There's one on the right side of the corridor, and one on the left. Beyond that, you can continue down the hall.

>A. Go into the door on your right

>B. Go into the door on your left

>C. Go straight

>C. Go straight

>A. Go into the door on your right

Going straight worked last time, so it should probably work on this occasion as well. At least, you hope so.

Most of the sounds that echoed through the halls downstairs are thankfully absent as you make your way down this floor's long corridor. Still, you get an uneasy feeling, especially as you approach the large set of doors at the end of the hallway.

You can feel several powers on the other side. Based on how low most of them are, you suspect them to be the same creatures you fought outside. They don't make you nervous, but the fact that Kochin has remained silent for the last few minutes, and has still not demonstrated any fear that you'll make it to him and this "Doctor Wheelo" does. Maybe he's just preoccupied with Goku and Krillin, but it could be that he's got something extra awful planned for this room.

>A. Open the doors and enter

>B. Go back and pick another door

>A. Open the doors and enter
Tell us what we've won!

Brand new car and driving lessons?

>A. Open the doors and enter

Nope

Just driving lessons, then?

Well, there might be some riding involved when all is said and done

No point in turning back now. You are going to have to face whatever is in the next room if you wish to continue to wherever Bulma and Roshi are being held. Of course, that's assuming that they are on the top floor, and not in one of the rooms you skipped through.

Preparing for whatever you might find, you open the doors and step into the darkness. You can hear the doors slam shut behind you, just before the room is illuminated, revealing four of the little creatures you battled outside.

And, standing just behind the group with a scowl on his face is Doctor Kochin.

"Welcome, intruder," he greets, making you wonder when he forgot your name. "I'm impressed that you've made it this far, but you won't be going any further. Doctor Wheelo doesn't care for intruders, and I'll be happy to eliminate you for him."

>A. Wait, you thought Doctor Wheelo wanted your body

>B. Rush in and attack

>C. Get into a defensive stance

>D. Something else

>A. Wait, you thought Doctor Wheelo wanted your body
>C. Get into a defensive stance

>C. Get into a defensive stance

>>A. Wait, you thought Doctor Wheelo wanted your body

"Wait, I thought Doctor Wheelo wanted my body," you tell Kochin.

The old man looks at you in confusion and disgust. "Why would Doctor Wheelo need your body? Scum such as you are beneath his notice. And besides, if he did want to study you, he could always take a look at your corpse."

Has the old man gone senile? Isn't the reason you were brought here in the first place that Wheelo wanted the world's strongest man? He was going to try and inhabit your body, probably to rule the world or something. That was the deal, right?

"Now, enough of your nonsense, imbecile!" Kochin declares. "Prepare to die!"

At this, you drop into a defensive stance, and Kochin points toward you, prompting the little monsters to spring into action. They come charging toward you, two staying on the ground while the other two leap through the air.

>A. Defend and counter (63)

>B. Rush forward and attack them (67)

>C. Explosive Wave

>D. Afterimage Attack (59)

>A. Defend and counter (63)

>A. Defend and counter (63)

Holy fuck
Have I woken from a coma?

You fought six of these creatures outside, and managed to hold your own quite well. Four should not be a problem.

As the creatures come for you, you prepare yourself for a battle, and are able to easily deflect and parry their first barrage of attacks, knocking one of the creatures off-balance in the process.

Before you can attack the disoriented creature, however, something strikes you from behind, causing your body to writhe in pain before you fall to your knees.

Looking up, you see Kochin smirking as he waves a little remote around. And, glancing over your shoulder, you see that some sort of gun has lowered from the ceiling.

"Yes, you will make a fine vessel for Doctor Wheelo," Kochin tells you, seeming to remember who you are. "With his mind, and your body, he will be unstoppable."

The Doctor chuckles. "Of course, without his brains, you're far from perfect. I think it's time you stop resisting."

Three more guns lower from the ceiling.

>A. Wait, you thought he was going to kill you

He's the most gangster of the Z warriors

"Wait, I thought you were going to kill me," you point out to Kochin.

The old man chuckles. "I was distracted for a moment. But now, you have my attention, Tofoo. Prepare yourself."

Whatever that gun shot you with, it hurt a lot. Based on the sensation you felt upon being hit, you wonder if you were just zapped with some electricity. Whatever the case, there are now four of them, and they presumably all have the same weapon.

The remote Kochin has most likely controls the weapons, so if you can destroy it, you should be able to shut them all down.

The monsters in front of you move in to attack, but you spring off the ground, getting past them and making a straight charge for Kochin.

The Doctor holds his free hand toward you, and a bolt of electricity shoots from his palm even as more are shot from the guns. Leaping forward and rolling, you are barely able to dodge the shots. And as you get back to your feet, you manage to snatch the remote from Kochin.

The old man glares as you crush it in an instant, opening your hand to let the scraps fall to the floor. On the ceiling, the guns power down, leaving you with only the old man and monsters to deal with.

The creatures in question begin to charge at you from behind, and Kochin holds his hand toward you, firing another bolt of electricity.

>A. Avoid it, and attack Kochin (80)

>B. Explosive Wave (85)

>C. Avoid it, and deal with the monsters (59)

The bolt of electricity barely misses you as you dive to the left, avoiding the monsters while you're at it.

Kochin turns toward you, and the monsters begin charging once again. But, this time, you're ready for them.

The first one gets a neck-breaking uppercut, and its limp body intercepts the next bolt of electricity that Kochin fires. The second and third attack from both sides, but you parry their strikes and grab their wrists, swinging them into the fourth as it comes running at you. While all three are disoriented, you kill the fourth with a kick, then throw the other two through the walls on opposite sides of the room.

Kochin yells angrily and fires another bolt of electricity, but you duck beneath it.

>A. Keep avoiding them and charge Kochin (59)

>B. Avoid and Bear Shout (36)

>A.

B
Time for the faitality

B

Yeah, you already got a ring for Bulma

Anons get lazy sometimes

ROLL

Rolled 91 (1d100)

Rolled 21 (1d100)

Kochin isn't about to let you get away with destroying his monsters, and he won't sit back and let you get him, either.

He fires bolts of electricity in rapid succession, but you manage to keep one step ahead of him as you nimbly avoid each attack, gathering your own energy, and opening your mouth wide.

Your Bear Shout covers the distance between yourself and the doctor almost instantly, striking him full force in an explosion with a ferocity that surprises you. When the smoke clears, you see what remains of Kochin.

Scraps of metal cover the ground, and they aren't from the guns. You can see pieces of what vaguely looks like fingers, and even a hand, along with arms, legs, and shoulders.

You were fighting a robot.

The energy source that felt like Piccolo seems to have weakened noticeably. Whatever Goku and Krillin are doing up there, they seem to be doing it well.

That leaves the question of how to reach them. You don't see any more doors or stairs, but you can't see a ceiling either, making you wonder how much further up you can get.

>A. Fly up

>B. Go back and try another door

A

>A. Fly up

>A. Fly up

>fly up
>blow a fucking hole in the roof if there is one

We can smash through rock with our bear hands, it shouldn't be an issue.

Looking for a way through this room makes more sense to you than backtracking does. You rise off the ground, climbing higher and higher, looking above to see flashes of light, which are soon accompanied by the sounds of combat.

Goku, Krillin, and a voice that unmistakably belongs to Piccolo can all be heard, presumably locked in combat with one another. You ready yourself for what's to come, but what you see when you make it to the room is beyond what you could have expected.

Goku and Krillin are indeed fighting Piccolo, and winning from the looks of things. But, something about Piccolo is quite wrong. His eyes look horrifically bloodshot, and there's some sort of golden thing on his head. His veins seem to be throbbing, and the only sounds that come from his mouth are growls and yells as he continues to fight your two friends.

"Tofoo!"

Your heart skips a beat when you hear that voice.

Turning, you spot Bulma standing on some sort of platform, her wrists shackled and connected to chains that keep her locked on the ground.

Laughter assails your ears, and a spotlight reveals Doctor Kochin, who fixes you with a smirk.

"Ah, Tofoo, thank you for joining us," he greets.

"We've been expecting you," a rumbling voice adds, and what follows is perhaps the strangest thing you have ever seen.

A light reveals what appears to be a colossal brain sitting in some massive container of liquid. Wires are hooked to it in various places, and you aren't sure how it's communicating.

That must be Doctor Wheelo.

>A. Ask Bulma if she knows anything about these creeps

>B. Ask what's wrong with Piccolo

>C. Try to free Bulma

>D. Express confusion as to how Kochin is alive

>E. Ask Wheelo why he wants your body

>F. Go fight Piccolo

>G. Something else

G. Jokingly tell Bulma her hair is cuter when it's short or with the side-tail while doing whatever the other anons vote for,

G: KAMEHAMEHA THE BRAIN TANK WHILE GOKU AND KRILLIN HAVE PICCOLO BUSY

>B. Ask what's wrong with Piccolo
Disregard unimportant characters

G bear shout the brain

*Full power kamehameha

Are you the same user who made the initial post?

Yes!

If that brain is Wheelo, and he's the one this is all about, then you need to stop him. Piccolo is distracted, and Kochin is making no move to attack you. This is your chance.

You gather your energy, trying to decide whether to use a Kamehameha Wave, or a Bear Shout. That decision never ends up being made, as you soon find yourself screaming in agony.

A circle of red light surrounds you, and chains rise from the ground, wrapping around your wrists and pumping electricity through your body. You can't move, you can't fight, all you can do is scream.

"Yes, wonderful!" Kochin declares.

"You are strong to have made it so far," the brain declares. "With your body, I will truly be unstoppable, and free to rule this planet! Think of it! My mind and your strength together! We will lead mankind to the future!"

"But, you won't be around to see the marvelous things your body does," Kochin declares.

"Tofoo!" Bulma shouts with fear. "Fight it!"

>A. Break free of the chains (85)

>B. Explosive Wave (59)

>C. Bear Shout the ground, and hope that damages whatever is holding you (67)

>D. Explosion wave into full power, point-blank kamehameha
