i actually havent hosted this yet. played once or twice. it was fun for sure.
but i really would like to make continued risk a thing. it would be so much better for MER and Go/B/ and allow for so much more development of the "story" within the game.

On the subject of a continued MER game. I already have quite a few ideas but they all seem to far reaching. The first one I had was to have passage of time from Fenris' 200 B.C. to Cyrus' 1200 A.D. to any of the many Eurasian maps and then finally a World Risk map. Would be a huge undertaking but I think it'd be crazy fun (to play of course. the OP may kill themselves during/after)

3 minute warning for netherlands, swiss, syria, morocco, and malta oh and russia i guess. it they do not roll all but syria will open for lurkers. syria may come open after a couple rounds. if it is just you three we may want to call it or put it on hold. I will also host 30 years war at 9:15 either way... may risk getting pruned from pol to see if more players come.

we need haliax here to discuss this man. he had an idea for what we call "Great Risk".
One world map, with many submaps that are started blank and people start their own cultures. as each submap is hosted the cultures grow and develop (with back story in the OP of course). Then there is the world map that is continually updated by a few trusted OPs... it can go forever. i am making submaps for it now from a world map i am working on.

we just need 2-3 maybe 4 OPs in on it so each can have 2-3 games off just to play (and that means even if only 3 outsiders come in per game you still have 6 rollers). idk i think it would be awesome
