It's not BAD per se but there's quite a lot of unlikeable characters in control that you starts thinking the only way to win is not to play. You can have your waifus and superpowers elsewhere.

Good taste, Tex, Dig and Rabi are my favorites too. I don't think they were ever raped, the world is kinda shitty but as far as I know it doesn't swing that way (well, Amew seems to have been raped but aside from that I don't remember anything about rape). Yes for traumatized though, probably saw a lot of death.

I think we had 1 chapter without rape so far.

First version of the current version had one of the lolis raped. He updated and removed that after a lot of negative feedback.

Also, Rome's entry still mentions that some of his lieutenants specifically buy underage girls form him and he doesn't give a fuck.

Sinful demon, depraved angel, forbidden love. I'm really not sure what I want out of the third column...I don't want to be a little boy or little girl. I guess the magical option implies you're a madoka, but since I'd be a teenage dude and it doesn't outright state you have classic madoka clothes, I can have it be whatever. So essentially a superhero?

As for challenges, I want same bed and same classes. For reasons. No extra options taken, that just seems like a fun addition

Missions on planets/stations are just Alien Swarm (isometric shooter) with space missions being a very limited isometric view space sim.

I think dungeon could do with an expansion. Maybe minor skill trees for each class or a reward/treasure system for each environment. As it is, it's pretty fun to plan how your dungeon adventure starts, but it would also be fun to know what you could find

Can someone post that really well balanced CYOA with the great original setting, in depth character creation, wide variety of fleshed out companions and interesting adventures and complications? It has really well chosen art and the formatting is simple but striking. Anyone have it?

I guess my most "famous" one so far, is Monster Master. (which I had to abandon before managing a last and final 1.0 version, because of bullshit IRL)

You know what I love about Natural Philosopher?
The animals you can produce are based on weight rather than number.

So you could produce over 3000 ants per second.
Or a couple puppies, kittens, or bunnies every minute.

Monster Master was popular for at least 3 threads, it got much more attention then the average OC.

The artifex CYOA was a big disappointment. The opening makes it sound as if you're supposed to be some sort of demigod who can do amazing things without breaking a sweat, but effectively you're always outclassed by a group of mortals. I mean, just look at telekinesis. 10kg. Wow, it's fucking nothing. Or any of the modifications you make to mortals that last only 24 hours. Hurrr.

I mean, I'm fine with a CYOA that makes you a run of the mill lower-to-mid level mage, but I don't like that it's pretending to be otherwise.

Of course, I'm also assuming it lets me create people. I may or may not wish to create a master race
