Marshmellow marines sub-edition

Is the new White Dwarf any good?

Missile Pod support turrets for my Fire Warriors, decent or not? Can they be affected by markerlights?

Friendly reminder that WAAC is the only way to play 40k and any one who doesn't is a loser.

Should I stay with ad mech or sell them for deathwatch? help me 40kG

This is your target.

This is its location.

Do you just jump ship every time a new army becomes Flavour of the Month, how long has admech even been a faction, a year?

Don't abandon your shit. You can always ally them.

Choose your weapon. Make prayers for your Emperor and Primarch, Watcher in Death.

Prepare for deployment.

Deathwatch as allies.
Skitty vanguard in a landraider.
Wings of fury making righteous HoW on the -1T units.

Even if it is just leaner, better versions of the BL formations, I'd probably still bite.

this
why bother youll just sell them and buy whatever is in the next glorified suppliment comes that out

i choose the mighty landraider, the strongest, most durable and most cost effective unit in the entirely of the universe.

Reposting in hope for some replies.

Good grief, forgot to attach

>‘We commune with the primarch, and all the brothers that have gone before us. They are our ancestors, in a manner of speaking,’ Ellial had told him. He’d been sitting in his cell– a shrine, really, to death– surrounded by the skulls of enemies he had taken. They were stacked up the walls and angled over into an arched ceiling of jaws and eye sockets, and the skulls of things that had no eyes– like the nicassar head that he had taken and which held pride of place in his room, the bulges in the thin, bird-like skull showing where the psychic glands had formed.

Killing a nicassar? What's the freaking wrong with the Space Marines?! Killing a harmless floating pancake polar bear, and having pride in it.

Oh my god, I hate Space Marines now.

Kill Team PDF when?

Is Korn schizophrenic, is that what they mean by "Chaos Gods"?

>Bird-like
I thought Nicassar were bears...

Eyeless bears with birdheads, duh.

Can I requisite a Blood Angels Rhino?

If Calgar can have twin power fists with built in Bolters, and Tyberos can have lightning claws with built in chainfists, is twin lightning claws which have heavy flamers built in counting as a single twin linked heavy flamer reasonable wargear for a chapter master?

>Op
I can't even fathom how assblasted OP must be to have made the last few generals only to bitch that the new CSM will never be codex 3.5.

Ive got epub, but im not able to read it properly for some reason. Text doesnt fit in page and such. From what ive seen there's some pretty major changes - not just reprint.

Use Readium.

Try using Adobe Digital Edition. It's one of the only things man enough to handle BL fucking up their epubs.

Dear heretics,

I'm considering switching from the Supreme Good (mostly kroot though) to Dark Eldar, because my kroot feel very spiritually close to Commorragh.

Would two Start Collecting boxes, an extra Kabalite squad, one Venom, a box of Scourges, a box of Wyches and some Mandrakes be alright for an acceptable 1500 pts army?

-Succubus (Kitbashed)
The Animus Vitae, Haywire Grenades, Archite Glaive, Blast Pistol, WWP. 170pts
-Haemonculus (kitbashed)
Armour of Misery, Stinger pistol, Agoniser 115pts

-10 Bloodbrides (the HQs go here)
3 Agonisers, Syren with Agoniser and Haywire Grenades 185pts
-5 Trueborn + Venom
3 Blasters, 2 Splinter Cannons, Venom gets a Splinter Cannon too. 195pts
-5 Mandrakes
Nightfiend 70pts

-10 Kabalites
Dark Lance, Sybarite w/ Haywire Grenades
*Raider
Dark Lance, Enhanced Aethersails, Nightshield, Shock Prow, Splinter Racks 220pts
-10 Kabalites
Dark Lance, Sybarite w/ Haywire Grenades
*Raider
Dark Lance, Enhanced Aethersails, Nightshield, Shock Prow, Splinter Racks 220pts

-6 Reavers
Arena Champ w/Agoniser, 2 Blasters, 2 Caltrops 181pts
-5 Scourges
4 Blasters 140pts

Total:1496

I know that the wyches/bloodbrides are supposed to suck, but I love the models and perhaps such a unit would wreck some chaos in the backlines. The arriving on turn 2+the Haemi they should have 5+ FNP, and should the Succubus kill with the Animus, they'd get Furious Charge.

Really hoping this crap where you buy entire units for kill team doesn't catch on with people, it takes a good chunk of the fun out of it.

Thx a lot. This helped.

Isn't half of Kill Team's fun the ability to just flick through the codex and go "yeah i;ll take one of these guys, two of these" etc?

I haven't looked at it yet but I'd essentially treat it as a zombie survival thing. Which bad motherfuckers do I want on my team and what can they provide for me should shit hit the fan? I wouldn't want a whole tau gunline, but I'd love one of two fire warriors for long range recon and sniping f.ex

What would be the most triggering army someone could field within the rules.

So post it.

tau with 2 stormsurges and riptide wing

not only are they broken as shit, but they also look stupid as fuck and dont even belong in the setting. its a win-win

Sisters of battle

>Women should never be hurt ever

>Women shouldn't be allowed to fight

Double the triggering.

In the original KT you bought whole units, not models.

I assume the reasoning is that while you have specialists within a given squad, nobody aside from Orks or Nids would split up their squads like that.

should be fine, though some people will breathe down your neck about taking full warrior squads in raiders instead of small ones in venoms

Oh yeah forgot to ask, can you take sergeants standalone? Like say you take a Kroot Carnivore. Can you upgrade him to a shaper and roll with him like that? Or take a Vespid and make him a Strain Leader?

Yes. You buy the unit as you normally would, the only different thing is that every model acts individually.

Does that "buy whole squads" thing still apply to the updated kill team we just got? That's stupid. I want a Deathwatch-style game where I can bring a Stealthsuit, 2 Fire Warriors and their little brother Pathfinder, a shaper with his 3 pet hounds and a Vespid who loves his neutron blaster a bit too much.

Necrons with Nid allies.

Yep, applies to the current version and sucks a lot of the joy out of it, requiring you to take a bunch of identical models in "everyone's a unit to themselves: the game"

>‘Do you know who Mortifax was, White Scar?’

>Nergui shook his head.

>‘His real name was Kaspar Dabanville. He was of the Sons of Medusa Chapter. He rose to great fame among his brothers. For a hundred and six years he was a great warrior within the Deathwatch. He hated the eldar, and pursued them mercilessly from world to world, burning and razing their ancient shrines and scattered communities. He led an entire chamber– seven kill teams– on a raid into the webway on the world of Brand’s Gate. It was a trap that the xenos had laid for him. They killed each of his warriors, one by one, until only he was left, surrounded, wounded and alone.

>‘And do you know what they did to him?’

>Nergui shook his head.

>‘They let him return to Brand’s Gate. Alive. Shamed. It was there that he took the black. He held himself to higher standards than anyone else. He became a Black Shield and painted over all trace of his former Chapter, and went back to being a simple warrior. He even changed his name to Mortifax to symbolise his contrition.’

>‘Why do you tell me this, commander?’

>‘I tell you this because there is no mercy in this galaxy,’ Jotunn said. ‘There is no room for the weak or the stupid. The hunters became the hunted. It is the way of the galaxy. Only the strongest and fiercest and most cunning will survive. You have to think like the xenos we hunt. You have to understand them, to know what they are thinking, even though their thoughts are abhorrent. You have to understand their logic, even though their thoughts are illogical. You have to hate them! But you must never underestimate their evil and their cunning. You have failed to outthink, out-reason, outguess your foes. Not doing so, Captain Nergui, is the worst kind of failure.’

You lied to me, Veeky Forums You said that Blackshields were traitor and renegade marines. What they are really are shamed loyalist marines.

Cryptek with controlled bioweapons.

Has there been any leaks for the new CSM rules?

Blackshields are any marine with reason to hide his chapter.

Eldar are fucking assholes sheesh.

tfw hormagaunts are garbage
tfw warriors are garbage

I dunno, it makes sense to me. They would need to go in to every codex and make exceptions so you couldn't pull some bullshit and give all your guard vets heavy flamers by abusing wargear access.

You have access to troops, elites, and FA; in most armies that means you can have your grizzled veterans alongside fresh recruits anyways.

Easy enough to houserule otherwise though, no? Maybe you can have it as "Only 1 squad leader of a particular unit entry may be taken" so you don't end up running around with 5 assault sergeants with eviscerators.

NVM just realised it's not a new codex

rip

Literally no one have gotten a new codex in the past 2 years.

Question lads. The Traitor's Hate book mentions it's Crimson Slaughter, Black Legion and Word Bearers vs Blood Angels and Imperial Knights.

But aren't all the BA's on fucking Baal? Like every single one. Including all their successors? Or does this 'battle' take place before Dante orders the recall?

#notallmarines

Until user comes up with a nice epub or pdf version, I will post pics of the major changes taken from an unboxing vid online.

Blood Angel companies are scattered. Some are making their way back or are busy with their own engagements.

You know, like Khan, in Kauyon and Mont'ka. He was suppose to return to his chapter homeworld to help in its defense. He choose to prolong his stay in Damocles to hunt down Shadowsun because he swore an oath.

...

Where do i upload?

what makes hormagaunts bad?

Different shot of specialists_1.jpg

Oh right. I know they retconned the novel in 2008 where all the BA chapters were on Baal. So I wasn't sure what the change was.

So, my guess is, BA all die, again. Which will be the 3rd or 4th time it's happened.

>So, my guess is, BA all die, again. Which will be the 3rd or 4th time it's happened.

Unless the Silent King comes to help them.

So far the only new things I've seen have been to specialists (new abilities), codex special rule exemptions, and the rewriting of the no extra models rule to specifically note that psykers cannot use conjuration powers. The missions look the same to me with one exception to a small hold the high ground map change.

a squad of hormagaunts will never, ever get its points back or even make it to close combat with the way the game is now
plus instinctive behavior

theyre just wasted points for your flyrants at the moment

Eagle eye sounds pretty goofy

How does psychic powers work? If I take say, four Zoanthropes, are they all distinct ML2 psykers? Are 10 pink Horrors 10 ML1 psykers?

Enjoy

filedropper *dot* com *slash* kill-team-2016

Nope, brotherhood of psykers doesnt work in kill team.

Right, so how specifically do psykers work then?

As usual except conjuration. USR brotherhood of psykers has no effect in kill team rules say.

Dunno if it's me, but the text isn't legible.

Thanks alot user you are great¡¡¡

not him but can someone explain how brotherhood works?
so, each model in the unit gets mastery level x. they can't cast powers, but DO contribute x warp charges per model?

Yes, but it makes my Deathwatch have stupidly long range bolters. A Stalker Bolter has a maximum range of 54". 45" for their Ignores Cover ammo.

Funny thing is, CSM 3.5 wouldn't even be anywhere near broken under current rules.

Veeky Forums treated my link as spam. So just change *dot* and *slash* for according symbols.

and without one CSM will still be shit, no matter what.

Unless they do really ridiculous formation bonuses' but ridiculous formation bonuses' are already cancerous enough to the game.

I know that, user. But when I'm viewing it, the text isn't legible.

I just got a Tau strike team for a tenner and I'm gonna use em for a killteam as I have plenty of firewarriors already

What's the best weapon to put on them for it? Any suggestions as to what else I should include in my killteam

I had the same problem, but some user in this tread adviced me to use readium and it worked.

Right, right.

But what I'm trying to ask is how do you resolve the psychic abilities of individual psykers who were once part of a group.

Thanks user. I like Venoms, but the way I picture DEldar I need to see some Raiders on the table. Not to mention Raiders are quite cheaper to get.

Any suggestions as to what to buy next? I like the Talos/Cronos look, but can't see it fitting the rest of the army due to its speed.
What you gentlemen truly want is Kill Team: Heralds of Ruin. Much more "your dudes" feel and has some very funky lists, like Rogue Trader bands, all-Kroot bands, Deathwatch since before GW released anything related...

This Zoanthrope is apparently allowed to cast his powers.

Darn, I'm using FireFox. Readium seems to be for Chrome only.

From the wording of USR I could say they are not eve psykers in kill team.

What's wrong with this marine? Why did he refuse to see reason? Why did he refuse to conform?

reason does not exist in the grim darkness of the far future

Never mind. Got it to work.

Because you touch yourself at night, Carnac.

1k sons come with a lvl 1 sorc who has to roll on tzeentch. Unless you get doombolt you will cry when you face enemy vehicles.

thanks

>Ruining the face of a shortstack qt

You can add taste as well.

Talos are fine, if only because people will shoot them instead of your raiders. Just make sure to give him a proper gun to encourage that.

As for expansions, some wracks or more scourges can never really go wrong. Incubi too, though not being plastic can be a deal-breaker.

>reason
>"interviewer" with a team of guys with torture devices
gee I dunno it's almost like the aliens gave him a perfectly good reason to hate them utterly

I guess a vehicle with sum of AV less than 34 is not big problem anyway,

>>"interviewer" with a team of guys with torture devices

You mean the guys who beat up the marine after he spat acid in the poor woman's face?

legend, cheers!

>w-we'll shove you out an airlock
>t-they told me it would kill you
I guess tau don't know that marines can survive in a vacuum if they need to.

>midget porn
>good taste
immolate yourself

>Without psykers, the tau could not make translations into the warp, but they had learnt to make short hops through the edge of the immaterial and real space, sticking to pre-ordained ‘stepping stones’. This particular transit point, deep in the Cannis gas cloud, was known to connect to the Sexton Sector. It was what the tau thought was a safe transit route, but its location had been known to the Deathwatch for some time.

And they wrote back in the Tau skim engines. Now I cannot make sense of the development of Tau space travel lore.

No.

It just doesn't work. Threat it as if you didn't have the rule.

For how long, though?

How do I make it display properly?
