Large Fullblade

1d8 cutting

>State it
Texas. Large, ugly, totally impractical, way the fuck too full of itself, generally an embarrassment to everybody involved.

It

Gatsu's Obelisk of Demon Slaying
Masterwork katana
str18+ required
Crits on a 16+ when fighting demons for 8x damage

it's one scale above the human size scale
large two handed greatsword +2 increment, mastercrafted
2d12 buldgeoning damage

"too big, too thick, too rough" works as well

if you can't let a player character can use this just for the awesome, RPG isn't the right hobby for you.

Guts' pre Dragonslayer sword.
Stats:
Weight: 40 lbs.
Range: ---- (Reach)
Damage: 4d6
Special Attributes:
This blade requires a minimum of 20 STR to wield.
This blade ignores up to 5 points of Damage Resistance.

Tell me the weight and lenght

I would say cutting dmg

1dClang

"it's more like a giant slab of steel"
it barely seems to have any sharpness, so it just crushes through anything.
that's my logic anyways

And so it was that instead of power flowing from The Crown, The Blade was in fact the symbol of royal authority in Oslatin which has continued up till this day. I'll leave you to all look around, feel free to ask me any questions and we'll be moving to the old treasury room in about eight minutes.

First post and the thread's already over. Good job OP

It's too big to be a sword, maybe a 1d10 great axe? Maybe make it so it only works against touch AC as no armor is gonna really stop it.

But that's the Dragonslayer not his Golden Age sword(s)

4d6 slashing damage, reach, heavy

The sword has been soaked in the blood of many demons and is treated as a magical weapon for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction and immunities. It also gains a bonus to sundering objects (DM's choice but for 5e advantage)

This sword has the ability to cleave through target. If you kill your initial target, you may continue the swing and hit the next target

The sword also instantly kills non-plot crucial targets or targets the DM deemed important in a glorious spray of body parts, innards, and blood

Tennesee

smash?

Austin is pretty cool tho

I want the Californians to leave

>Austin
>cool
Hold up there, pardner

>state

Looks like it's made of solids mostly. Add in some liquid if we're including Guts' hand.

Yes and no. Guts himself already stated it that the sword pretty much has a dull edge, but since it's so heavy it can still cut through stuff. So cutting damage, otherwise you'll end up with "broken bones and smashed limbs" instead of "cut armored horse along with horsemen in half in one swing".

(also, it *still* has a cutting edge. pic related, girl's hands are bleeding)

It used to be regular (if oversized) sword. It got dulled by all the beating it took and delivered.
But by the Age of Sail and shortly beforehand basically basically became Vorpal Blade.

/thread

>party

That's him referring to his Golden Age sword though, not the Dragonslayer. Unless I'm forgetting a scene.

>Large, ugly, totally impractical, way the fuck too full of itself, generally an embarrassment to everybody involved.
That sounds a lot like California.

Only if it was on fire for half the year.

>[CLANG]
Will Berserk ever recover from this?

fuck off

>commiefornians move to texas because commiefornia sucks
>complain when texas isn't commiefornia
West coast, not even once.

Get fucked Austin.

>Get fucked Austin

Congrats, you're on the path to becoming an actual Texan.

Huh?

This season's Berserk adaption has shit sound direction and overall terrible animation. Every single time something hits something, the sound effect is a loud CLANG.

The only good thing about it is Hirasawa's music.

Hey, hey. Fuck you. My family has lived in California for six generations, and we have NO problem with Texas.

as a person named Austin living in California this entire conversation left me very confused for a while.

2d6+1 damage, +1 to hit, 19-20/x2 crit

Sorry.

That would be Detroit user.

Pennsylvania had a lot of steel and iron, right?

>katana

The funny thing about Texans is they always say they love guns and they're great with guns. And yet, every Texan I have ever met has been awful with guns while all the Californian gun owners I know are way better shots.

As a Texan, double fuck you, I guess.

Ive yet to see the owlbear stat block in this thread.

I can't put into words how disappointed I am.

I haven't even noticed the sound due to how bad the animation is. Like holy shit they don't even shade the 3D and 2D the same way when putting them both in the same scene

There is no owlbear state block.

Think, sometimes, user. You always do this.

>look at thread
>don't see 53 posts consisting of the single word 'it'

Veeky Forums I am disappoint.

Well done user.

>It's a Gatsu fails misserabily at protecting innocents who put their lives on his hands episode

Or virginia.

>>Autism, for everything else there's mastercard.

Actually the system I stated the weapon on (sword path glory) require all those info.

Complain with the system and not with myself

Wow, Rooster Teeth got a new project?

Dragonslayer
Large +2 Demon Bane Broadsword (exotic weapon)
Requires 18 str, 16 dex
If the user spends a feat to become proficient with this exotic weapon, it grants the following bonus feats even if the user doesn't meet the prerequisites:
Great Cleave
Power Attack
Heedless Charge
Whirlwind Attack
proficiency also grants +5ft reach, and negates the penalty for using a wrong sized weapon.

Yeah it's pretty fucking lazy. I mean, a few years ago shows like Arpeggio had way way way way way better cg than Berserk.

>watch the Golden Age Arc and love it
>get hyped upon hearing new Berserk animation is coming out
>yfw it arrives

>1025675000000000000000000 seconds
More than 2.4×10^6 universe age to hit.
Wow

Cloearly a +4 magical cursed weapon with the drawback that it sounds like a frying pan whenever you hit something and can never let go of the thing or even have it wrenched angrily from your hand by a giant tree monster.

I'm sorry user. Where did it all go so wrong with your state?

Read the manga, it's very good.
The new series has already skipped an entire arc and a half, and has rewritten another third of what it has included.

Dude, it can cleave through a huge ass demonic oak tree in a single clang - that's +4 at least.

>get surprised shitty weapon is shitty

Hahahaha cool xDDDD well posted fellow liberal. Let's go get our fedoras cleaned.

And yet the Californians keep coming.
I wonder why? The familiarity of housing prices?

+1 large sized impact bastard sword

Unlike you, his joke was funny.

Signed, a guy who used to live in Texas.

Never read a non-hentai mango in my life but I keep hearing about Berserk on Veeky Forums and some Souls threads that pop up on various boards, and I'm considering taking it up. Is it actually worth reading or just a meme?

It's worth reading. It's slow but it's a good read.

True, but it wouldn't come into play much when being swung given the thickness. It's like the sharp bits on a mace: they're nice and might cut someone, but it's the weight that's fucking shit up.

Technically it still cuts. Your index finger cpuld something if enough force is put behind it. Physics dictates that lower surface area = lower minimum force needed to sperate something. Traditional blades are "sharp" becasue they have a tiny surface area compared to the head of a hammer or a fist, and dull becasue that surface area increases as it wears down.

It.

This is going to be artist's liberty. In HEMA and in antiquated swordplay, "half-swording" was a pretty common thing, and you wouldn't cut your hands even when striking a target in full plate.

The points are for concentration of force. The points on the head of a mace are not "nice," they are, and forgive me for this goddamn pun, the point.

>"too big, too thick, too rough"
Now I have to go beat off

I too thought Berserk was just a meme for a while, due to its popularity, but it is definitely worth reading. Definitely met the exceedingly high expectations I'd set for it from all I heard.

Jesus fuck, what is that shit, it's terrible.

Its a good read, and characters are good.

>FOLDED OVER ONE BILLION TIMES!!!

Does anyone else have noticed the more the series advances, the less oc is there up to the point the studios is basically retracing the manga? Funny thing, as the series advances, the quality increases, is almost like a math formula or something

you forgot one part of the commiefornian cycle of life

>after moving to texas, vote for the same retarded policies that turned CA into an utter shithole in the first place

I feel so bad for texas, it's going to become Mexico in 50 years

Hey! Don't mess with Texas!

They're very thin skinned and can't take insults as shown by the replies. New Yorker here, I don't care what you think of NY because I already live in a hell I can never escape. Fuck you all.

>a few butthurt Texans is an accurate representation of all of Texas in general
God-tier reasoning, user.

Also it's Jew York City's fault that the rest of NY state suck ass with their stupid laws. Either just declare yourselves your own damn state or fall into the ocean so the rest of the state doesn't have to be bogged down by your imbecilic voters.

Not from the city, jackass.

Oh, I just assumed that you were in NYC after you said
>I already live in a hell

What part of NY? I spent every damn summer at a relative's upstate lakehouse and it was pretty comfy.

oh lord I was not expecting that

These weapon stats for the slayer are disappointing to me just because i'm reminded that even with a cool as hell weapon, a magic user will out-everything you. 4D6 is shit compared to Gandalf casting a single fire ball.

Schenectady, and if they have a lakehouse that's probably up in the Adirondacks which is indeed nice, but not somewhere you can really live unless you're rich or born there....or REALLY old.

But yeah, I live in the part of the state trying to stave off the rust belt with industry that'll move in 10 years and casinos that'll die in 2.

>4D6 is shit compared to Gandalf casting a single fire ball
True, but a Fighter can make up to 4 attacks in 5e. So, potentially 16d6 + STR modifier x 4 in one turn that can be done over and over and over instead of using a spell slot. That's a potential 16-96 + 20 with 20 STR in one action. Granted, you have to succeed 4 different attack rolls, but by the time you hit 4 attacks you've got good proficiency and gear so really only need to worry about the 1s.

Dragonslayer Sword
>Two-handed greatsword
>Requires a minimum strength of 20 to wield
>Damage: Fuck you
>Counts as magical for the purposes of overcoming DR

That's the Dragonslayer, dude, not his pre-eclipse sword.
