What does Veeky Forums do to support their hobby?

About how much do you spend on Veeky Forums stuff per month?

I buy books that I'll reference more than once. That's pretty much it aside from the odd dice purchase

Code monkey, like $50.

Maybe $60 every 3 months but that's because I already have a massive RPG library. But I do spend a lot on craft beer that we drink during gaming.

Engineer, maybe about $100 a month. Mostly stuff I'll never get to play.

:^(

Security Architect
Maybe $50-$100 depending on what catches my eye.
Still no group though

Carpenter's Apprentice.
50 a month or too.

Cook.

I spend probably... well, I usually spend a lot all at once, then nothing, so it probably works out to about $40-50 a month, but I'll spend like $150 on minis then nothing for a while, that kind of thing. Got a big purchase planned soon, $120+ at the FLGS if he can order it all for me.

Tech support.
Specialist tech support. Application engineer II. But basically, tech support.
There's no glory here. Decent pay. But no glory.

I tend to spend about $40 a week, not necessarily on Veeky Forums things. I'm also not paying rent right now, so I'm saving an awful lot anyway.

Machinist.

Just started AoS and bought the little easy to build liberator pack for 30 bucks.

I am a custodian. I used to spend about 80 a month on tabletop gaming and RPGs.

Ever since I got in to OSR stuff and homebrew, it's probably less that 5 dollars a month.

Instructor, probably $15 mean spendings per month

I _might_ buy a PDF or some funny dice or get some cards produced but it's so rare...

There's the winning cash allocation

Culinary. Work a fine Italian restaurant as a prep cook. I spend about $100 a month or so on various Veeky Forums and/or /v/ related activities.

Amish Taxi Service. Partner of the business with my father. My father and i pull in around 95k a year with about 20k going out. I end up with about 30k a year after the taxes go out. I spend about 150-250 bucks a month. Miniatures, cards, etc. My buddy runs a nerd shop and i give him the stuff i don't use anymore.

I do maths for a gambling company. I spend either very little or $100 a month as I typically only grab a board game once in a blue moon.

>Amish Taxi Service
If you don't mind me asking, uh...?

I do quality control in a wire manufacturing plant.

Decent pay considering it's a starting position. 12 hour shifts can be kinda rough, though.

Seconding this. Is this a horse and buggy operation so that you can transport Amish people around? Or Are you former Amish who help Amish people leave if they don't want to remain there? Or do you Taxi tourists out to Amish areas? So many questions.

You're a mathematician who does complex probability and statistics?

Can you tell me about a formula for averages of XdY-sided dice, drop the lowest/highest Z?

I can, but so can google.

I tried it at one point and couldn't. Heck, I went to professors and none of them could either.

i settled for making my dicebot do ten thousand rolls and empirically determine the average, and that works, but it's kinda inelegant, you know?
