(Short version: 2007 edition of the rulebook, 2010 Update, and Armada)
Revised is a set of fan-rules, written almost entirely by a Dark Eldar player. It shows.

Goddamnit I forgot to type the name.
/bfgg/ thread.

...

Not butthurt at all you didn't pick my idea, sniff.

4th for let's hope for more fleet lists in the future

Deldar when?

Keep forgetting to choose a fighting style for Tau.
They need to make it more obvious, like a Big fuck off window before you deploy

So, has anyone yet spotted a single non-Tau player in the game?
So far all i have had were Tau on tau games.

I play only the Imperium, yet to lose a single game to Tau scum.

Demiurg ships are awesome, particularly when you defend in assassination.
Dat mining laser.

spaaaace shiiiips

Been leveling up a Spess profile, seen the odd chaos, spess and Imperial navy players in 2v2

Wow, the Tau are really fun. I made a quick skirmish admiral to try them out, only been at it for about a half hour or so. They look and play great, though, I'm having some difficulty with the recommended "kiting" style people say to play them as. Mont'ka style seems to emphasize brawling anyway.

What was the SM troop value again?
Because Tau are 50 if i recall correctly.

SM Troop Value is 60, boostable to something like 75 through upgrades and crew.

I find that using the escorts to kite them with is the best way, and planting the main ships down to blast at them with all their guns at once whilst they're distracted with the escorts.

This Get a bunch of escorts to kite and otherwise occupy enemies, while your bigger ships sit on their ass and blast at long range.

Okay, that makes sense. Distraction by mosquito bite. I'll give that a go.

>try ranked
>face the same ork player twice

I uninstalled after being raped by his blob spamming nova cannons. My poor Imperial Navy carrier fleet...

You know, you can replace ships with no rep cost, right?

Upgrades?

At least favors can be refunded by unslotting them.
I cant speak from experience on skills and upgrades, but id recommend you take a look at least.
Also you could just make another admiral and have different ships.

Wish they hadn't split the queues so much.

>Naming the commander of the vessel a Shas'nel of the Fire Caste when Tau vessels are Air Caste

Come on, get it togethe-

>The Cultural Exchange
>The Invisible Hand
>The Captive Market
>The Fair Deal
>The House of Korst'la

Okay none of those sound like Tau standard names. There must be something I'm missing, some reference I don't get.

Shas'O Ry'myr.

Small player base? Unbalanced game? Some races are auto pilot?

Let's split matchmaking!

Make persistent and ranked the same thing.

Mostly fix the god damn bug regarding point limits. It is not fun to face 73 ships.

Been playing Imps last night. Look for a bunch of Fist-yellow Dauntlesses tonight and you'll know it's me.
