He also fought in the Boer War, as well as hunted Boar with a knife when until he died an old man. As well as several other stories.
Such as when he escaped a concentration camp to live among the Italians for several months, pretending to be a poor old man. Who couldn't speak Italian. And had one arm. And one eye.

I don't get this.
It's all misleading/rumors/lies or just really fucking bad "advice".
They're all wrong. All of them, and published officially.
Not to mention it urges the player to use once only items on common monsters, totally makes up shit like how.. literally every move. Surf doesn't work like that, or fly. You don't get Body Slam in the S.S. Anne, Swift is weaksauce, Strength and the truck do nothing.
Example: Don't forget to take weapon specialisation on your Fighter, or you'll struggle to keep up with the party Wizard!
Actually, Surf DOES work like that, funny enough, although I don't think they knew about the glitch I found by just screwing around once.
If you stand in front of the guy who won't let you pass without the ticket (and after the SS Anne has left), facing the water, save, and reset the game, you'll be facing down toward the guy when you start the game back up. But the game will register that you can surf because you could when you turned it off. Surfing at this point surfs on top of the guy, and you can move below him.
Don't believe me? Try it yourself. I promise it works, just a crazy glitch.
Holy shit, that is awful for a published source to do.

This is actually markedly similar to my experiences with EotE.
right?

Nothing special, it's just that we had a chase sequence on speeders with us and them firing back and forth, and it was a lot of fun. I think we made some kind of massive jump off a ramp over some buildings to get away from them in the end, and get back to our ship.

did he died?
Not that time.
He had a parachute that time, he regularly does shit like this with no safety at all because he doesn't care whether dies or not.
And the times he does it with a parachute it isn't for safety but because it's a "different experience".
An absolute madman I'll say.

This goes against some of my base beliefs and convictions but I still have to admit it's a fine craftsmanship.
Swift was pretty strong for a Gen 1 move. A lot of Pokemon didn't learn anything better without a TM.
He died in a wingsuit accident didn't he? Or was that a different free solo'er?
Ehhh. That's art from "Dark Future". It's a GW game about a post apocalyptic, Mad Max inspired, 1960s (?) America.... in which Elvis is a private investigator.
There are so many slimes of varying color, consistency, and flavor involved in human confectionery...

HOLY SHIT SPOILER THAT YOU FUCKING DEGENERATE
>There are so many slimes of varying color, consistency, and flavor involved in human confectionery...
YOUR MISSION IS TO HUNT ONE OF EACH SLIME AND BRING THEM TO THE COOK.
>Got a selection of good things on sale, stranger!
Oh user, you have the right idea. But take it a step further, and do something like Battle Chef Brigade.
>You go out and hunt food for the chef to prepare in the kitchen for their cook-off contest
>You are the chef
I probably wouldn't enjoy most of those (too dainty and rich), but that presentation is on point.
