first for imps a shit

One of the other pics I considered.

Fuck off, Rebel Scum.

Strange question here.

Did Kevin Kiner ever make a seperate mp3 of the rock music that Zeb is listening to in this scene? I'd love to have it for campaign music

youtu.be/zt1NxG9NfsE

Do you have a higher resolution of this image? My students might enjoy this in their club room.

Get rekt, Imp. Or are you too busy sucking Palpatine's shriveled dick?

Nah, I got it off of one of these threads. If anyone does, I'd love one too.

I have some more, also from these threads, that are a bit higher rez.

All these salty Rebels

I tweaked the stats for the A280C out of "Forged in Battle"

>A280C Blaster Rifle (1300$)
>Dam 9 - Crit 3 - Rng Lng - Encum 5 - HP 2 - Accurate 1, Cumbersome 2, Stun Setting
>Reduce Repair Mechanics Check Diff by 1 (Min 0)

I honestly have no idea where they were going with the original stats. Making it 300 credits more expensive then a baseline Heavy Blaster Rifle, while making it worse in every way. Worse even then a standard Blaster Rifle

Really, the stats above are just what I think are balanced. In reality, I think the thing should be about a hundred credits more then a Blaster Rifle, with a Crit of 4, Accurate 1, and no Stun Setting, Rarity of 4, and -1 Diff Repair Checks. Its basically a star wars AK-47, so it should be easy to find, rugged, harder to modify, and having no auto-fire is made up for by being more accurate.

I don't understand why they even had to stat it. Isn't it supposed to be just a regular Blaster Rifle? Like the E-11? Maybe some lorefag can prove me wrong but I just don't see the point.

There isn't a ton of in-lore difference between the two, honestly. The E-11 is a bit more compact, but suffers a bit in over-all accuracy. Depending on how its portrayed, its either hopelessly inaccurate on full-auto (JK2), or fairly deadly little SMG (Dark Forces). In Battlefront (new one), it differs from the A280C by firing slower, but with less pronounced recoil and more damage. In comparison, the A280C has a faster rate of fire, does less individual damage, and tends to walk fire upward if you don't let off the trigger.

Even in the core books, in the "Models Include:" segment of the Blaster Rifle description, it mentions both the E-11 and the A280

I honestly think they padded out the book with stuff from Battlefront. They have an Autofire version of the DH-17 (which is an auto-fire pistol in Battlefront)

Yea, I remember the differences in Battlefront, and assumed they wanted to do something like that. Still feels silly in my opinion though. But then again, I dunno what other weapons they could have put in there instead.

Merr-Sonn S77

Which I've always thought of as Merr Sonn's attempt to make a better E-11, made it too good, and the Empire didn't want it because its too expensive. Merr-Sonn foiled again by being too good

Alternatively, we could've gotten stats for the DC-15A

Admittedly, that would be sweet. It's such a beautiful gun.

I'm honestly considering just talking my GM into statting one out, or using one of my previous builds, and taking one, or just taking a generic Heavy Blaster Rifle and calling it a DC-15A (the basic statline fits it mostly). The only con against it, is its kinda big, and it doesn't fit the character aesthetic I'm going for

I'd also love to see how FFG stats one of these

>Alternatively, we could've gotten stats for the DC-15A
I like the Idea of using the DH-X from Dangerous Covenants as the DC-15A, big ol' blasty thing made for blastin' armoured targets like Super Battle Droids.

I showed up to an online game with a Bounty Hunter and another player as a Hired Gun, and without having consulted I picked up a Blaster Rifle as a DC-15a, and the Hired Gun with a Carbine as a DC-15c. We became instant gun-bros.

While we're discussing Clone weapons, how would you stat the DC-17m ICWS?

Thats a pretty good idea actually.

I always liked thinking of the DC-15A as a star wars M1 Garand - big punch, big kick, big killin' power

Basically a Blaster Rifle, and takes, maybe a Maneuver or an Action, to swap in a Sniper Barrel (which ups the damage, but gains limited 5, pierce, breach, etc), or an Anti-Armor Launcher (basically a grenade launcher).

Super rare, super expensive, high up on encumbrance, I dunno.

PEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEW*PING* as the charge pack pops out.

Thoughts on this list? Should I move the stealth device from OL to Wampa? I'm not sure if this list can replace my 5 omega with WG and crack.

Fuck, I forgot to attach the image.

>I honestly think they padded out the book with stuff from Battlefront.

and most of it is garbage, too. the only good weapons in it are the SE-14C, DH-17 carbine, T-7, and SH-9. pretty disappointing desu.

They also added stats for the Z-6 Rotary and the LJ-50 Conc, but I think they made the damage on the Z-6 waaaaaay to high. Other then prepare 1, it should have gotten some kind of reduce activation cost for Autofire, balanced by making it overheat easily.

i'm actually quite tempted to get a SE-14C to replace my beloved ASP-9 as my backup gun.

>balanced by making it overheat easily.
it already does that, all three of the heavy guns have some sort of sucktastic drawback that makes them worthless. the light and heavy repeaters are better options with fewer drawbacks. like i said, most of the weapons suck.

I saw this list in the last thread but I don't know if I can comment on it. I don't get using the Decimator as a Palpshuttle.

>M1 Garand
Given the 15's capability for automatic fire, I figured it would be more like if the BAR had become a standard-issue service rifle. Same cartridge, greater capacity, and all the fun of a full giggle switch.

Or an M14, which is basically a fully automatic M1 Garand with a smaller cartridge

I would be able to keep the Decimator in the fight, staying alive by bumping via Oiccun. (Versus a shuttle that doesn't move)

You're putting your most important asset directly in the firing line, and sacrificing a boatload of points which you could spend on aces to do it. Yeah, just don't make a lick of sense to me.

At the very least, if you're going to be ramming, switch Rebel Captive to Mara Jade. I know the Oicunn ramming build is Daredevil+Dauntless+Mara Jade+Engine Upgrade, not sure how viable that is with Palps on board.

But its real fucking nato so its fine

Here's my counter.

I prefer vader + gunner for 8 point imperial crew options on the deci.

Either way, you might need something to help against more swarmy opponents who can mob oicunn or OL easily. I like gamma vets with ordnance, but a mini swarm, phantom, or swapping to a boosting chirpy would all work.

Really, I just wanted to try Wampa without running the Fun Police (OL, palpmobile, inquisitor, Wampa)

Is the Decimator that bad?

I figured PS4, 6 extra health, turret, a better dial, captive, Predator and Oiccun's ability would be worth 27 points.

>Is the Decimator that bad?
It's okay in certain builds to fill certain rolls, but it struggles otherwise. Its inability to negate any incoming damage really adds up, especially once the crits start coming in.

This is my preferred Decimator build for survivability. It always negates at least two incoming damage, it can shrug off at least one torpedo attack with countermeasures, and elusiveness is good for at least negating crits. Although I also submitted this for your consideration.

Run Wampa with Colzert.

Trust me.

The intent of the list was to get Wampa and Palpatine without just running the Fun police, and I figured a decimator would be a good idea for that.

(See for Fun Police)
Should I just run that? Or is there a better Palp decimator build to carry wampa alongside? I don't want to base my list entirely on Wampa though, so no Lt. Colzert, also because I don't own a raider (I have everything else though).

>is there a better Palp decimator build to carry wampa alongside
Not yet.

Damn it. Now I want rogue 1 to come out faster solely so that I can get the Kylomobile.

Also, am I the only one thinking advanced sensors on the Kylomobile will be viable (that it will have a good dial)?

>Kylo Ren and Palps on the same ship

That's gonna be a weird conversation.

How does Maarek Stele interact with Kyle anyway?

Wouldn't Kylo's ability just overwrite Maarek's?

Kylo overrides Maarek.

It's not that the decimator is bad, it's just that your 3 ships all have the same weakness: numbers. OL is amazing 1 on 1, but she dies if she gets mobbed. Decis can put a lot of damage out, but 3-4 ships focusing fire drops them quickly. Wampa is a tie fighter.

What pilots/ships has the Coordinate action? It sounds like an extremely good action to have on a ship in a squadron.

All the epic ships and the bunny ears nu-shuttle in wave X

Man. To invest in a Gozanti or wait for the Upsilon...

Well, you do realize that the Epic ships are for Epic games only, right? They can't be used in standard games.

I do know that. Despite how it sounds, I did not start playing yesterday.

Would this work as a better option?

A Black Squadron with crack, a Palp Shuttle, Wampa, and Whisper with Kallus?

Whisper definitely takes care of generic ships. That looks solid, but if you really want the deci you could run it with whisper to good effect.

Why not both?

The Gozer is great in epic and the new ties aren't too shabby themselves

I just wanted to have Wampa in a list.

Also, how hard would it be to get an alt-art card made of a Wampa piloting a TIE?

Hows this list? I wanted to do something with the second phantom and tie sf I am picking up geordanr.github.io/xwing/?f=Galactic Empire&d=v4!s!79:-1,-1,-1:-1:9:;78:-1,-1,-1:-1:9:;209:-1,-1,-1,-1:42:1:&sn=Sneaky Sneaky

>Stealth Device on a 2 agility ship

>No VI, or even EPT, on Phantoms.

There is a lot wrong with this list. You cannot fit 3 expensive ships into 100 points. Whisper is normally 39-44, Echo is slightly less. Backdraft wants a System and Elite upgrade, and wants a sensor cluster.

Is Backdraft filler in this list? What exactly is your goal? Han, Dash, RaC, etc, will all anhilate a PS 6/7 phantom

I just wanted to see if I could cram 2 phantoms and an sf in a list

>Elusiveness requires you to not be stressed
>Ysanne Isard is an action

Thank the Force that both the stressbot and tactician have fallen out of meta, mate.
Although the ARC might bring our glorious nervous breakdown astromech into action once again

Expensive pilots with minimal upgrades seems wonky, familia.

How about
Whisper w/ VI, ACD, FCS, Kallus (41)
Quickdraw w/ Rage, Baffle (31)
PS3 phantom w/ collision detector, intel agent (26)

You could put stygium on the generic, but a 2 point bid might be better for 2 ships that love going first.

Then go with Int Agent Sigmas.

Unless their name is Sigma Squadron and Zeta, no. They just cost too much.

If you're running named phantoms with Advanced Cloaking Device, then always give them Veteran Instincts.

Thoughts on this list?

Whisper (VI, ACD, FCS, Gunner)-44
Echo (VI, ACD, Collision Detector, Rebel Captiive)- 38
Wampa (Stealth Device) - -17

99/100

So "Wampa"'s deal is basically just as long as you get a Crit on your roll, you can just deal one automatic hull damage in the form of a Facedown damage?

Essentially, Wampa shooting at a ship with 3 shields and 1 hull rolls a blank and a crit, he cancels his results, and deals one facedown damage, thus killing the ship?

Yes. This is one of the reasons why you don't see A-Wings or B-Wings all that much anymore.

Yep. That's why Wampa is the world's greatest pilot.

I'm 90% sure that he is a literal wampa that has been trained to fly a TIE fighter.

Yep. He is pretty devistating against a wings and low hull ships because even if they evade he can deal damage

Try this:

geordanr.github.io/xwing/?f=Galactic Empire&d=v4!s!79:27,-1,-1:-1:9:;78:18,44,-1:-1:8:;211:172,-1,-1:42:-1:&sn=Sneaky Sneaky

Alternatively, you can build Echo identical to Whisper, and free up enough points to put an Accuracy Corrector on te Zeta Specialist. But Echo with PtL, Stygian Particle Accelerator, and Sensor Jammer, has proven itself to be hilariously awesome for me. Set a green maneuver, decloak and get a free Evade action, Push the Limit off that and Roll or Focus or Cloak if needed, reveal green maneuver at initiative and clear stress, target lock or focus or whatever. You can set yourself up wonderfully for fully modified attacks, and Evade + Sensor Jammer gives you that bit of resilience you need. Just don't let Echo get tag-teamed by two or more powerhouses.

Guess I'm picking up the Gozanti in the future then.

Bullshit. You still see A-Wings. B-Wings aren't bothered by Wampa, it's more to do with TLTs having their brief round of popularity. Both are still used.

Yes. Combine him with Colzert for macimum Lulz. Colzert doesn't even need to shoot at his targrt locked victim... You have Colzertt take a Lock on them, Wampa shoots them and pushes a damage card through (Palp can help), and at the end of the round Colzert flips it face up. I've seen this combo 2-shot a fully loaded brobot whose evade token and green dice meant jack shit..

fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2016/9/19/the-galaxys-greatest/

>fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2016/9/19/the-galaxys-greatest/

Holy shit it's here.

Quick question. Boosts don't count as a maneouver right? But Tractor Beams DO right?

...

This + Stressbot is going to be fun

Barrel Roll, and Boost, do not count as maneuvers. Tractor Beams technically do not either, iirc. As they are implemented using the Roll/Boost mechanics.

He's back boys, and holy fuck is he awesome. For once a PS7 you probably don't want VI on. He could be a really solid ship with a whole bunch of different upgrades.

Jess has earned her place as my TFA-fu

Somewhat disappointing to me. Still a solid ability though. He's going to be a really fast X-wing.

If his ability works after doing red maneuvers than he can boost and focus with pattern analyzer.

Nien Numb is a sexy badass, now... That's going to be a fun ability on him, and could even be paired up with Elusiveness if you're good at getting opponents into R1.

Jess is cute. Her ability is also pretty cute. It's a reverse Boba Fett. It boosts her defense, and that's great.

At 25 points, she might be the T-70 I play the most, because she doesn't cost an arm and a leg. She should be fantastic in epic though, running in a gunline.

Snap will never be anything but disappointing because he's from Aftermath. He goes from being a whiny bitch kid to a fat fuck who let's the FO track him back to the Resistance base.

I'm confused about Pattern Analyzer. Does that just make it so you can perform red maneuvers regardless of stress?

No, it means you get your action before you get the stress from red maneuvers, so you still get your action.

Snapshot seems solid. Not overpowered. Wish you could shoot it out of auxiliary arcs, but whatever. Should put a little fear of god into arc dodgers.

Oh fuck. This on the new Nien Numb. Christ you are doing me a frightan. Remember, Stressbot only works in your firing arc.

Ahhh... Ok, thank you! That's pretty cool, actually. It's nice to see some tech slots that are finally worth taking besides the one that stores Evade tokens.

Yeah, Jess just secured her position as a cheap, awesome wingman. Similar to Biggs. She could even be outfitted with Proton Torps and a Guidance Chip, so she can fire, reroll any die she hates, and take her modifications.

Hold on.

"Executes a Maneouver" means it takes place BEFORE that ships action step right? Before it's got ANY Focus or Evade tokens up?

That's fucking vicious.

And we STILL don't know what Trick[shot?] does.

It also means you can now run a list that's Biggs, Wedge and Jesse.

Yes. Which is why the balancing factor for it is just a straight 2 dice with no modification.

So, with Forged in Battle out, and Rogue One on the horizon, who else here has a hankering for a Saving Private Ryan-tier war movie campaign?

It's still only 2 plain red dice, but yes, it's a fun upgrade.

Call it "Square Squadron".

Combined with the Mass Combat rules of Lead by Example, definatly aching for a war campaign.

I just realized something. Pattern analyzer makes you Tycho. It doesn't say red maneuver on the card. Literally any maneuver, you can ignore stress. If I'm right, holy shit, tech just got awesome.

Also the range one restriction, which is the most brutal.

You run 5 A-wing with snap shot and crack shot. You can still crack shot your snap shot.

Yeah, and whilst those dice can't be modified they COULD be added to via Opportunist.

Well, that's only possible on an a-wing though, but that is a nasty Green Squadron A-wing.

No, Pattern Analyzer doesn't work that way.
The "Check Pilot Stress" step merely says:
"Check Pilot Stress:
If the maneuver is red, assign one stress token to the ship; if the maneuver is green, remove one stress token from the ship."

Which means that if you got stress from the previous turn, you still don't get any actions.

geordanr.github.io/xwing/?f=Rebel Alliance&d=v4!s!0:18,193,2:-1:26:;4:1,77:-1:25:;199:58,69,203:-1:15:&sn=Avalanche Squadron

And try not to cry everytime.
