What would you say his alignment is?

What would you say his alignment is?

Gygax would say he was Lawful Good.

Following alignments exactly is dumb. They don't fit every character or situation and are arbitrarily strict. They don't even represent the plethora of motivations outside of law/chaos good/evil.

Lawful Evil

Depends on if the setting has alignments be a cosmically enforced truth, or whether it is subjective.

This should really be the first and last post in any alignment thread. Either A) Boom, there's your answer or B) Alignment is dumb and subjective in this instance and should be ignored.

Lawful Evil

Lawful Neutral depending on how legitimate the threats of the world are without his extremely violent methods.

Second

Stoneface there is the very definition of lawful neutral. He follows what the good book says to the letter, and while a lot of horrible clergymen archetypes are hypocrites out for personal power Mozgus feels very genuine. The man doesn't just talk the talk, he walk the walk.

He looks like a lego person

he helped the villagers that tried to steal his food, after burning down another village for not donating the little food they had.

if "the definition of lawful neutral" saw this every one of them would be dead, or at the very least missing a hand.

Maybe I'm is remembering but I think helped is a little inaccurate. Didn't he allow the mother some food to feed her baby, then torture her and everyone else caught stealing?

>alignment
>Gygax
>complains about not having proper framework provided.
Ever thought you might just be a little slow?

He's lawful netural, pushing evil hard.

everyone but the mother went unpunished.

Good does not exist in Berserk.

Also, alignment is dumb. Don't use it, don't try to shoehorn characters into it.

Nope. After the baby got fed, she was sent to the torture chamber as well.

>good not existing
>when griffith did nothing wrong

Gygax would say the character is lawful.

He did nothing good, either.

It was not torture, it was a trial from God, faggot.

>fucking 'did nothing wrong' meme needs to fucking die.
He literally did everything wrong. Literally literally everything.
Every choice he makes is the worst possible choice out of a whole list of horrible choices. He's even aware half the time he is making the worst choice but runs with it anyway because hey, why stop now?

>everyone but the mother went unpunished.
i think you misunderstand?

Not really. Before he slept with the king's daughter he had made some pretty good choices.

>implying Griffith didn't do literally everything wrong
