This bug cyoa is alot better, the companions are definitely more flushed out.

I want to see more exploration quests. Also, more Gun Witch stuff. Quests, Companion, items, whatever.

The water one felt more complete than this one but thats probably due to the open ended nature of the bug one. But still, they both feel like you accomplished what you set out to do with them, Both were well made. If I were to ask you to add anything I'd say concrete rewards for Quests,

Quick overview of what the magic system can do would be nice. What would learning magic from Magus Alder allow us to do, for example?

i would like some clarity on THE OLD LAW a lot of thing use it and the only thing you tell us about it is that it say the demilurges should rule.

i find the female companions a bit bland, they are most humans and elves, with the exemption of 2 demons and a 1 dragon, where males have fungal horrors, plant people, and beast people.

i know some people where asking for more tarot gifts.
Also if i get 1 of the same items from complains/patrons can i sell back the spare or do i have to find a use for it (you give out magus gems like candy), can the lover sprite take drawbacks, and what does the dark one even want me to do

I searched really, really hard for female monster art and couldnt find any. Sorry but if you have nice monster art to add I would happily include more female monster companions.

Also the fungus and plant guys dont really have a gender, I just used he for ease.

Varies but his goal isnt clear. He will ask different things of you depending on where you are. Hes manipulating you, mostly.

The ability to use Miracle to bless/sanctify people and places; more discussion about what some of the "more important" beings are like, like how some demons and angels behave in terms of biolog, culture etc. Also "druidess" is odd. Druid is already gender neutral. Also maybe some minor spelling/grammar mistakes that I might get around to collecting into a pastebin?

Just speaking generally because you are not even close to the only person that does it: There's never a time where pluralization with " 's " is appropriate grammatically. The " 's " is used to denote possession of something.

At least for Xuite, it's really hard to call that plant-humanoid "male." The same for a few other companions. If you find a picture of an androgynous figure or one that isn't obviously male, there's no reason why you can't just add a "she" or even an "it." It's the exact same thing you've been doing when you labeled others with "he."

Take pic related; there are arguments for all three groups. There's no reason, either, that this being couldn't reproduce asexually or even not at all thus leaving it with no concept of sex or gender for itself.

I like it! It's very unique. I like it better than the undersea one.

Just keep it semi realistic looking. No anime or cartoony looking art. Thats what I look for.

I dont have much androgynous art really, just for plants and other obviously inhuman things like Dragons (which are genderless) and Angels (whice are genderless).

I haven't looked at it closely because I'm still working on my Universal War character. It's less immediately attractive because it seems alien. I don't want to make myself too inhuman, and I'm not attracted to bug waifus.

Right but you still called him male, which was my point. You could just as easily take more extreme portaits and choose to gender the beings portrayed therein as female. If you're worried about people freaking out just don't forget: you don't need to fall back on, "the girl one has boobs" like you can see in some fantasy/sci-fi artwork. A female in most cases, is just the name for the gender that carries the child to term. A female godzilla, could just as easily be godzilla without tits as godzilla with breasts.

You should probably keep the guy as male. It's an interesting twist imo. Usually it's the hero marrying the evil conquering warlord (female), but there's no reason why you can't still marry the same warlord (female) if it was instead a warlord (male). You could be Guts if he'd just decided to bang Griffith.

I will, and thank you. Im pretty glad most people seem to like my CYOA. I do try to make it nice.

This is just laziness on my part but all "Demons" are actually "Devils". They are the same thing, though people usually refer to weaker Devils as Demons.

Devils come from Void Space, the place where Devils go when they are "killed". Both Angels and Devils cant die, instead their souls are banished to their home realm to regenerate and one day return to the multiverse. Angels suffer a death of body while Devils suffer a death of personality.

Im keeping things short, ill explain if in another post if you want to know more.

Devils typically come in colors. Like Red Devils, Blue Devils, Black Devils, etc.

The most powerful types are colorless Devils. They dont have a uniform look, but typically Red Devils look like the goat/bull demons and colorless Devils look like insects.

Depends on the group of Devils in question. It varies but most creatures in Universal War are not evil like comic book villians, even Devils have a reason for the evil deeds they commit.

Devils use powerful magics and typically dont need slaves.

Crafty mages, witches, and other powerful beings will bind a Devil for a powerful servant. Binding Devils (knowing their true name) is dangerous but usually worth it.

I REALLY fucking hate those. They don't make sense 90% of the time and men almost always get the perks that I don't like.

I like this better. It feels less railroad-y.

Not in the sense of men get something and women get something else, but in the sense that gender has an effect, some samples below.

Several possibilities, probably involving some kind of drawback. Like a lust variant of the beauty perk that only attracts males or females (or a twisted one for gays and lesbians) being repulsive to the others. Maybe the lovers gift could be made more efficient but only if companions are restricted to a certain gender. Maybe some patron that favors some gender over another (lots of possibilities). A drawback where some gender would be hostile or at least not friendly. And so on.

Currently working on the Super CYOA, but I am taking suggestions for Hell Invasion.

The greatest problem that any playerbase must tackle is that it's made up of people.

Multiplayer games are almost always shit unless you know the people or there are very strong limits on someone's actions - limits like in a video game. Multiplayer shouldn't be the default of any CYOA and should always be optional.

Are you taking weapon ideas for specific Origins? Cause I got a few.
Melee:
Blessed: Spear, possible JEBUS connotations. Or it could just be a vaguely holy spear.
Augmented: Katana, like a vibroblade or something.
Injected: Axe, bites fuckers on contact
Murderous: Club, for raw smashing power and extra demon gore.

Ranged:
Blessed: Thurible, those things that Catholic churches and such hold incense in. Maybe it releases an incense that's poisonous to demons or something.
Augmented: Laser or lightning gun.
Injected: Acid/parasite belcher, throws acid and/or parasites that eat away at demon flesh. If it's both, maybe the parasites poop more acid and lay quick-hatching eggs. Maybe too OP, I dunno.
Murderous: Demonic grenade, teleports back to your hand (or on your person) whole a few seconds after being used (like 5 or 10).

Non specific weapons:
Pissed off little monster or robot, you can throw at a demon's face to distract them.
Shield that can be used like deployable cover. Spike on the front, maybe.
