What format? What are you doing? Why do you need these artifacts? Do you need a reliable trickle to pay some sort of cost every turn, or are you racing towards some critical mass of artifacts? That's some pretty important information that you're omitting.
Shit like myr turbine or tamiyo's journal might be sufficient for fulfilling your needs and have the advantage that they are self contained and don't need the assistance of other cards to combo off of.
Stuff like thopter foundry + sword of the meek is extremely efficient at generating tokens, but you need to get them on the field together first. Hell, those two combined might be stronger than whatever you originally had in mind.
Could you get by without a dedicated artifact engine and simply playing lots of artifacts that strong in your own right and artifact creatures that explode into more artifact creatures like Wurmcoil Engine or Hangarback Walker?
