Lots of magic. A fuckton. A friend forwarded the PDF to me, and it has 150 pages of spells, 90 pages of variants on standard vatican, some new words for Words of Power, ect. So much, I'm having difficulty browsing it, though I did spot a few fairly powerful spells.

To be fair, ONE is a writer more than an artist. OPM was created specifically because he was bad at art and wanted to practice, which is why Saitama has such a bland design.

So I'm working on a Spellburst Savant with a combat focus for a 7th level game coming up. Pretty much the only metamagic I really care about right now is Maximize, but I only really need it for my fundamentals, which will be my primary source of damage (specifically, Shining Blade, Wave Form Strike, and a really big hammer). So for my actual spell slots, I'm looking for spells to take that are more utility than damage, but that still benefit from my ability to maximize them for free: mirror image being one example of a non-damaging spell that still benefits from being maximized.

So, what are some interesting 1st and 2nd level spells that aren't damage spells, but still benefit from being maximized? Sor/wiz for the most part, but I have access to one or two spells from other spell list if there's something really good... my current picks are likely to be the cure spells borrowed from some potions, but I can switch those out if there's something more interesting to take instead.

(No summon spells, though: I know they can be maximized, but they don't fit the character, and they'd be too low level at this point anyway since I only have up to 2nd level spells.)

Ok even with mage's disjunction and dispelling this is really a toss up. I don't think you can really win against this build unless you go the planar binding/simulacrum army direction.

I absolutely adore WoP, it fixes so many problems with the 3.x magic system... but Paizo seems to have dropped it completely. I really wish they'd give it some support.

I actually rather like Words of Power (Only on sorcerers, though), but I feel like it's lack of options makes it kinda sad.

Unfortunately, most of it is just reprinting of the stuff from Ultimate Magic. There is some clarification, but in total, there are two new effect words, and six new meta words. So I'm happy that exists, but when I saw it was there and looked, I was incredibly disappointed.

Multiple sources of precision damage don't stack. I'm under the impression the manuevers count as precision, thus, they don't stack.

The top line seems a bit narrower-maybe Lieutenant Junior Grade? But that might just be a quirk of the artist.

I know precision damage (and maneuvers) aren't multiplied in the case of a crit, but sneak attack and, say, the duelist PrC's precise strike do indeed stack with each other; and most sneak-attack analogues (those that add d6s) are usually worded to say that they stack with other sources of the same thing.

With all the errata he takes off a bunch of items and can just buy death ward scrolls but he needs a permanent way. A custom magic item would be one.

Nah, it simply isn't multiplied on a crit. An amusing side note is that "Precision Damage" is never defined anywhere, and it isn't stated anywhere that sneak attack is "precision damage"

The armor enhancement deathless would also work.

He needs to free up 50k in his budget. Getting rid of the head slot item would do it because all those things got errata'd into the ground.

Oh I know. Signature Skill for Craft (Weapons) would let you craft it (and his normal sword) at 1/3 cost. So it'd work, you just need to take away a feat.

Also removing his head slot items would free up a slot for possibly other things and provide the funds.
