Being kineticist is suffering.
Ian Jackson
Ok, slight update. I'll update his gear later and find that 25k. Honestly I may make his weapon a lot less powerful because one of the enhancements he can just add with spirit points. He has 7 spirit points a day so that's enough for a few combats.
Gavin Rogers
>glossy thigh-highs I see you there, pretending not to be lewd. Glossy skin is guaranteed porn artist, glossy thigh-highs is a porn artist who thinks they are classy as shit. I don't even want to know how much porn the artist drew before and after it.
Samuel Collins
Well I'm a retard who didn't link the new pastebin.
He would spend 2 spirit points at the beginning of each combat to gain Bane and Keen making his weapon a +5 Guarding Keen Bane Cold Iron Falchion during combat.
Kevin Hernandez
We been through this user. Western art is simply horrible. Before you jump on me, consider this: how important do you think the art is for an average webcomic vs an average doujin. Shitty western comic artist may still get tons of views, while shitty japanese artists get lynched alive unless you are ONE
David Cooper
Didn't realize new thread was already happening/ >I've gotten Monster Tactician banned at every table I've tried it on. Story time/elaborate?

So, what do the folks here think of Deep Magic? Any good spells? What about the alternate magic stuff?
Luke Roberts
It attracts high-quality posters and people who are pleasant to play and interact with.
Henry Martinez
No good deed ever goes unpunished. Gms will make sure of that, just like real life.
That's fine. If being a hero was easy, the world wouldn't need them.
Andrew Morgan
>Haven't heard of it, what's inside? Lots of magic. A fuckton. A friend forwarded the PDF to me, and it has 150 pages of spells, 90 pages of variants on standard vatican, some new words for Words of Power, ect. So much, I'm having difficulty browsing it, though I did spot a few fairly powerful spells.
Joseph Scott
Holy fuck, is this normal at level 20?
Daniel Adams
To be fair, ONE is a writer more than an artist. OPM was created specifically because he was bad at art and wanted to practice, which is why Saitama has such a bland design.
Ryder Barnes
So I'm working on a Spellburst Savant with a combat focus for a 7th level game coming up. Pretty much the only metamagic I really care about right now is Maximize, but I only really need it for my fundamentals, which will be my primary source of damage (specifically, Shining Blade, Wave Form Strike, and a really big hammer). So for my actual spell slots, I'm looking for spells to take that are more utility than damage, but that still benefit from my ability to maximize them for free: mirror image being one example of a non-damaging spell that still benefits from being maximized.
So, what are some interesting 1st and 2nd level spells that aren't damage spells, but still benefit from being maximized? Sor/wiz for the most part, but I have access to one or two spells from other spell list if there's something really good... my current picks are likely to be the cure spells borrowed from some potions, but I can switch those out if there's something more interesting to take instead.
(No summon spells, though: I know they can be maximized, but they don't fit the character, and they'd be too low level at this point anyway since I only have up to 2nd level spells.)
William Gomez
>new words for Words of Power You mean someone else likes that subsystem enough to make new words for it?
Dominic Stewart
Ok even with mage's disjunction and dispelling this is really a toss up. I don't think you can really win against this build unless you go the planar binding/simulacrum army direction.
Christopher Myers
I absolutely adore WoP, it fixes so many problems with the 3.x magic system... but Paizo seems to have dropped it completely. I really wish they'd give it some support.
Gavin Baker
Lets go back to bullying Aqualla for a bit for the sake of this discussion.
Look at pic: disgusting furry thing, focusing on its sexual features enforcing the implicit bestiality on it. This is what average western fantasy art looks like
and now compare with....
Aiden Fisher
>elves in setting are a non-playable, occupy something more like fey >live out in the woods covered in their own shit and someone else's blood holding sharp rocks and pointy sticks >don't have ordered society like humans do, instead build massive magical symbologies in order to display political leanings to other elves >humans do not have this, so humans simply appear incorrect to elves >elves killing one another means nothing, the body rots and they simply walk out of the forest again. Two elves stabbing each other with pointy sticks amount to a political debate >a human could attempt to interpret what they were talking about based on the state of the remains >elves need not eat/sleep/drink, their only commodity is opinions, sometimes they will come together to commit acts of war if any with similar political leanings deem it necessary >elves physically are wisp thin, pale, and almost entirely hairless. Their bones and veins are clearly visible against the skin, they look constantly unhealthy and are prone to dropping dead on their own (not that dying particularly matters to them). One particular feature is their lack of faces, they simply have smooth skin stretching across a skull.
>put party against elf that is sociopaths by elven standards >realized humans have "thoughts on the inside" >goes looking for those thoughts on the inside in a major city >kills random citizens at night, writing on the walls in blood "thoughts on the inside" while leaving partially dissected corpses >players need to hunt him down before he gets in his mind to kill important folk (as he has mostly be running around the slums) >find him covered in bloody scabs he has carved in himself to try and make "thoughts on the inside" for humans to see
>players are mythic, this thing is mythic >them being mythic makes them glow similarly to the magic symbology of the elves >latched onto them as possibly humans who can understand, and hurts them to strain them into forming symbols
thoughts?
Aaron Mitchell
sounds pretty fucking terrible. Apply yourself creatively or don't bother.

CUTE! SO CUTE! A WAIFU!
this is what average amateur japanese fantasy art looks like.

You're living proof this weebshit is an offtopic distraction from game discussion at best, shitposting at worst. Bringing up furry art as western art was obvious shitposting. I'm asking you nicely to stop and, assuming you're the OP, take a break from them for a while.
These are not high quality posts and this is not the board where they belong.
Joseph Peterson
What don't you like about it?
Easton Collins
A Wand of Enervation does him in.
Gabriel Howard
>Wave Form Strike Huh? I can't see that on my copy of the pdf, are we using different versions? Do you mean Wave Motion Strike?
As for spells, you could try taking Righteous Blood as a defensive spell.
Sebastian Clark
>obvious false flag detected
Fuck off furry shitter and quit giving weebs an even worse reputation.
Owen Cooper
Pretty cool. Though I can't help but feel I've seen something similar before.
Carson Martinez
Not gonna lie, that sounds painfully stupid.
Noah Mitchell
I actually rather like Words of Power (Only on sorcerers, though), but I feel like it's lack of options makes it kinda sad.
Unfortunately, most of it is just reprinting of the stuff from Ultimate Magic. There is some clarification, but in total, there are two new effect words, and six new meta words. So I'm happy that exists, but when I saw it was there and looked, I was incredibly disappointed.
Ian Clark
Sounds fine to me as a low level encounter.
Austin Martin
ONE may be a terrible artist, but it's okay because he's got another guy that *is* a great artist and he does the manga.
Can't wait to see the Garou vs. Saitama fight.
Ian Morris
How before he kills you? Also he redirects attacks.
Cooper Evans
I'm curious, why?
Brandon Foster
Well that's incredibly disappointing.
Luke Rogers
I know it's generally considered to be a pretty good supplement, but thats about it.

Maybe you posted it here before. Maybe I'm just thinking of pic related (which is solid awesome). Not sure.

Does anyone know what the hawaiian/polynesian/pacific-islander equivalent on Golarion is, whether or not it's a human ethnicity or another race all together?
Dominic Fisher
Anybode have new pact magic book?
Aiden Murphy
>hawaiian/polynesian/pacific-islander equivalent on Golarion is
Maybe the Tian-Sing?
>The Tian-Sing live in the southeastern corner of Tian Xia, in the great archipelago known as Minata or the Wandering Isles. Their skin is darker than most other Tian peoples, and their hair often has a reddish tint. Green eyes are also much more common among the Tian-Sing than in the rest of the continent. Popular female names include Indah, Nirmala, and Udara, while among the men, Budi, Kusuma, and Suryo are common
That's the closest to the Polynesians I could find.
Adam Brown
Wow this is pretty good actually, remainds me of this:

Won't load for me. Care to reupload, famalam?

Please elaborate. Please, I beg you.

The Shackles have a pacific islander/southeast Asian vibe of them.
Jeremiah Lopez
Let me see if I can find a better version: story name is "Brodie's report"
Luis Cooper
You know, this cutie?
After getting a second look, I realized they're not the same artist (though I've seen the porn made by the guy that did OP's image.)
Jeremiah Wilson
But is there a hero who can save you from the end?
No.
No king rules forever. Only death is eternal.
Jaxon Sanders
I'm not sure if its been explicitly stated and I just missed it but do riding effects like flaming enchant on aomf or sneak attack die stack with maneuvers whenever you meet the proper criteria?
Ian Butler
'of the region infested by Ape-men dwell the “Mlch,”* whom I shall call Yahoos so that my readers will be reminded of their bestial nature and also because, given the total absence of vowels in their harsh language, an exact transliteration is virtually impossible. Including the “Nr,” who dwell farther to the south in the thorn-bush, the numbers of the tribe do not, I believe, exceed seven hundred. The cipher which I propose is a mere conjecture, since save for the king and queen and the witch doctors, the Yahoos sleep in no fixed abode but wherever night overtakes them. Swamp fever and the continual incursions of the Ape-men diminish their number. Only a very few individuals have names. In order to address one another, it is their custom to fling a small handful of mud. I have also noticed Yahoos who, to attract a friend’s attention, throw themselves on the ground and wallow in the dust...
Matthew Howard
Save for their lower foreheads and for having a peculiar copperish hue that reduces their blackness, in other physical respects they do not noticeably differ from the “Kroo.” They take their nourishment from fruits, root-stalks, and the smaller reptiles; they imbibe the milk of cats and of chiropterans; and they fish with their hands. While eating, they normally conceal themselves or else close their eyes. All other physical habits they perform in open view, much the same as the Cynics of old. . . . So as to partake of their wisdom, they devour the raw corpses of their witch doctors and of the royal family. When I admonished them for this evil custom they touched their lips and their bellies, perhaps to indicate that the dead are also edible, or—but this explanation may be farfetched—in order that I might come to understand that everything we eat becomes, in the long run, human flesh
Joseph Ramirez
Flaming enchant, yes. I don't think sneak attack stacks with manuevers (You mean PoW ones right?) though, because they are precision damage too, I think.
Anthony Roberts
Why wouldn't they?
>what the fuck was up with my captcha? I wouldn't allow me to not pick anything.
Gabriel Phillips
In their warfare they employ stones, which they gather for that purpose, and magical spells and incantations. They go about quite naked, the arts of clothing and tattooing being altogether unknown to them. It is worthy of note that, though they have at hand a wide, grassy plateau on which there are springs of clear water and shade-dispensing trees, they prefer to swarm in the marshlands which surround this eminence, as if delighting in the rigors of the hot climate and the general unwholesomeness. The slopes of the plateau are steep and could easily be utilized as a natural bulwark against the onslaughts of the Ape-men. The clans of Scotland, in similar circumstances, erected their castles on the summits of hills; I advised the witch doctors to adopt this simple defensive measure, but my words were of no avail. They allowed me, however, to build a hut for myself on higher ground, where the night air is cooler
Jeremiah Davis
The tribe is ruled over by a king, whose power is absolute, but it is my suspicion that the true rulers are the witch doctors, who administer to him and who have chosen him. Every male born into the tribe is subjected to a painstaking examination; if he exhibits certain stigmata, the nature of which were not revealed to me, he is elevated to the rank of king of the Yahoos. So that the physical world may not lead him from the paths of wisdom, he is gelded on the spot, his eyes are burned, and his hands and feet are amputated. Thereafter, he lives confined in a cavern called the Castle (“Qzr”), into which only the four witch doctors and the two slave women who attend him and anoint him with dung are permitted entrance. Should war arise, the witch doctors remove him from his cavern, display him to the tribe to excite their courage, and bear him, lifted onto their shoulders after the manner of a flag or a talisman, to the thick of the fight. In such cases, he dies almost immediately under the hail of stones flung at him by the Ape-men. In another Castle lives the queen, who is not permitted to see her king. During my sojourn, this lady was kind enough to receive me; she was smiling, young, and insofar as her race allowed, graceful. Bracelets of metalwork and of ivory and necklaces of teeth adorned her nakedness. She inspected me, sniffed me, and, after touching me with a finger, ended by offering herself to me in the presence of all her retinue. My cloth and my ethics, however, forbade me that honor, which commonly she grants only to the witch doctors and to the slave hunters, for the most part Muslims, whose caravans journey across the kingdom

Alright here goes, off the top of my head:
He doesn't have Smash from the Air so he can't knock away spell rays and even if he did it would only negate 6.
Divination Wizard who has a Ring of Summoning Affinity (Inevitable), the Superior Summoning feat and an arcane bonded item >Round 1 Cast Time Stop with Metamagic Gem (Maximizing Sapphire) by using your arcane bonded item >Time Stop Round 1 Cast Summon Monster IX with Metamagic Gem (Maximizing Sapphire) to summon 4 Kolyarut Inevitables >Time Stop Round 2 Cast Summon Monster IX with Metamagic Gem (Maximizing Sapphire) to summon 4 Kolyarut Inevitables >Time Stop Round 3 Cast Summon Monster IX with Metamagic Gem (Maximizing Sapphire) to summon 4 Kolyarut Inevitables >Time Stop Round 4 Cast Summon Monster IX with Metamagic Gem (Maximizing Sapphire) to summon 4 Kolyarut Inevitables >Time Stop Round 5 Teleport to a safe distance to watch >Return to Round 1 All the Kolyarut Inevitables cast 16 enervations dealing ~16d4 negative levels
Basically he needs someway to get Death Ward.

She's a sailor!
What rank does her insignia say?
Isaiah Young
Hey /pfg/, what's a good PDF reader for ripping images without the text?
Eli Rodriguez
A sailor under a tiefling kitsune admiral!
How would you play a kitsune sailor girl, /pfg/?
Ayden Gutierrez
Wait, sneak attack doesn't work with maneuvers? Since when?
Isaiah Stewart
Multiple sources of precision damage don't stack. I'm under the impression the manuevers count as precision, thus, they don't stack.
Juan Scott
I've had decent luck with Nitro Reader 5
>because they are precision damage too Maneuvers are precision damage, and even if it was, it stacks
Thomas Ross
The star and two stripes suggests lieutenant (USN) but since they're chevrons instead of straight lines I can't say for certain.
Julian Scott
>Maneuvers are precision damage Fuck, I meant aren't
Christopher Cox
Glossy thighhighs are love.
Why is there no legs slot item in Pathfinder?
Where do all the magic thighhighs, pantyhose, skirts, and panties get slotted into?
>Multiple sources of precision damage don't stack.

Camden Clark
The top line seems a bit narrower-maybe Lieutenant Junior Grade? But that might just be a quirk of the artist.
Benjamin Morgan
I know precision damage (and maneuvers) aren't multiplied in the case of a crit, but sneak attack and, say, the duelist PrC's precise strike do indeed stack with each other; and most sneak-attack analogues (those that add d6s) are usually worded to say that they stack with other sources of the same thing.
I checked the SRD,looks like I was wrong. I'm pretty sure there was *something* in Sneak Attack that didn't stack.
Thomas Evans
Wtf, user. This is spoopy.
Joseph Peterson
With all the errata he takes off a bunch of items and can just buy death ward scrolls but he needs a permanent way. A custom magic item would be one.
Gabriel Hernandez
Zenko kitsune = DSP race Malefex = Gareth class
Juan Reed
Who do I believe?
Wyatt Powell
Nah, it simply isn't multiplied on a crit. An amusing side note is that "Precision Damage" is never defined anywhere, and it isn't stated anywhere that sneak attack is "precision damage"
Sebastian Cook
Does mind controlling a cute male succubus into fucking other demons instead of mortals count?
