I'm revising my time table. Sisters before New Years, Squats in February.

Can you get more utility out of the regular Dakkajet or the Burna Bomma, which has more weapons?

What do you guys think of this list? I'm gonna try it soon. I've wanted to get some Scoot bikers anyway.

How big can you realistically get your Inquisition Detatchment before it starts getting incredible in the literal sense? I would like to add an Inquisitor in Terminator armor with brain mines and a few Crusaders for Tau MC hunting, as well as two Chimeras full of assorted Acolytes, but would this not be a large retinue, especially allied with a bunch of Skitarii?
Jacob Moore
>Ever bringing back Squats
They're Demiurg now. Old Squats have been completely written out of the universe via a Tyranid fleet and to be honest, nothing of value was lost
Jack Cox
How well will SM Scout arms fit on IG bodies? I want to make some veterans with shotguns.
Christian Cruz
They haven't though, there's reference to them all over the place.
But yeah, Squats or Demiurg or whatever you want to call them. Space Dorfs, anyway.
Wyatt Williams
>mixing weapons on devastators
Don't do it. I'd say either go 4 multi-meltas or two grav cannons and two meatshield marines. Don't forget to use the sergeant's signum to buff one of your dudes.
William Gomez

Would taking them mitigate use of Riptides in fairness?
Connor Gray
Is there any reason to take an Angel's Blade Strike Force over a Baal Strike Force?
Angel's Blade is a Decurion, Baal is a CAD variant.
Blake Davis
No, because they're still better than what you could get for the same price from other codi.
When thinking of taking Riptides, first consider your opponent. Only proceed if you think you could beat him in a fight.
Logan Bennett
I want more of these. Maybe one for mandrakes.
Colton Cooper
Assault from deep strike?
Asher Ortiz
So Games Workshop ended their license with Fantasy Flight Games.
What does that mean for 40k lore? Is the Omega Vault still canon?
Justin Gutierrez
That's two formations, both of which can be taken independently of the Decurion.
Jack Morris
From -some- other codices. Like, the shittest ones. It might be a good gun, but the rate of fire for total points expended makes them an uphill struggle to get your points back on.
Brayden Robinson
>What does that mean for 40k lore?
We don't have to listen to people pushing FFG sources anymore.
Josiah Campbell
>What does that mean for 40k lore? Now any chance of continuity is entirely dead.
Ryan Young
It should mean that people will be arguing even more about which headcanon is the right one, but since we are at 100% anyway, nothing will actually change. I mean people are denying GW sources for at least a few years now, because they don't like them or because they are actual dogshit, so why would anybody care for what of FFGs stuff is canon or not? GW themselves don't even care about it and just retcon whatever fits their current release. I'm not even mad about it, but people should stop asking for " is this right?" and rather ask for "is this cool?".
Brody Reyes
anyone got the 5th edition of the Imperial guard codex laying around on the internet?

What is the source of all the random tyranid ships in Battlefleet Gothic?Like drones, void fiends, war drones etc.

Hybrid Metamorphs scuttle forward with preternatural speed, weapon limbs thrashing and biomorphs pulsing with toxins. Spontaneously spawned in a cult’s latter cycles, they are thought to be created when a Tyranid hive fleet nears a prey planet that is host to a Genestealer Cult. When the day of the uprising arrives, it is the Hybrid Metamorphs that take pride of place upon the front line. In a storm of iron-hard claws, sinewy tentacles and slashing talons they crush and hack their way through everything in their path, an inspiration to the broodkin that worship them as sainted heroes of the cult.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble 5 Hybrid Metamorphs, armed with autopistols, Metamorph talons, blasting charges and rending claws. Included are hand flamers, a heavy rock saw, a heavy rock drill (with backpack), a heavy claw cutter and options for an Metamorph Leader – this model can use one of 2 special heads, and can be armed with a bonesword. Supplied with 5 Citadel 32mm Round bases.
This kit can optionally be used to assemble 5 Acolyte Hybrids. Supplied with 5 Citadel 32mm Round bases.

And broodmind psychic powers confirmed. That primaris seems pretty fucking good. >Malediction, WC1, 24", reduce WS, BS, I, A by 1 to a minimum of 1.
Nice objective counters too. Not nice enough for me to buy the special edition, but nice nonetheless.
Think they're just hand flamers.

Interesting, didn't know stealers carried material form every active nid strain.

By the time a Genestealer Cult launches its insurrection, its Neophyte Hybrids make up a horde of thousands. Weathered and toughened by a life of hard labour, each cultist features the inhuman reactions and strength their alien genes gift them. These third and fourth generation hybrids can pass as human – sinisterly, some can even infiltrate the Astra Militarum, such are their blessings. When the cult signals their attack, Neophytes swarm from sewers, catacombs and shadowy barracks, overwhelming their enemies and seizing control of entire planets within hours.
This multi-part plastic box set contains all the components necessary to assemble 10 Genestealer Cult Neophyte Hybrids, armed with autoguns, autopistols and blasting charges. Any model can replace their autogun with a shotgun – 10 are included – and 2 models can take special weapons chosen from a seismic cannon, heavy stubber or mining laser.
One model can be upgraded to a Neophyte Leader, armed with either a web pistol, autopistol or bolt pistol and a chainsword, power pick or close combat weapon. One model can take a Cult icon.
Supplied with 10 Citadel 25mm Round bases and 2 Citadel 32mm Round bases.

>tyranid ships will have hands holding guns

Basking in the sheer alien glory of the patron that infected them, Acolyte Hybrids croon and hiss in the gloom. When the time comes to throw off the torn robes they use to disguise their foulness, the Acolyte Hybrids crawl up to the surface and into the sunlight, their grotesque faces twisted in subhuman glee. They display a bizarre blend of the species from which they hail – the speed of a Purestrain Genestealer twinned with human cunning is a potent combination. These hybrids fire off volleys of pistol fire, before descending on the enemy in a riot of claws, close combat weapons and screamed praise to their masters.

A WC1 power that turbo fucks any unit in melee, in the army that can teabag your face turn 1. That kind of shit needs to be WC2.

Can't wait for people to bitch about them.
I'm a little pissed that I finally got all the bits I need to make 3 genestealer gun servitors for my Xenos inquisitor and now they come out with and I want those bodies, making all my hard work null and void.
Jaxon Watson
These are some seriously good kits. Shame about the prices (well, more precisely the number of models in the boxes) though.
Parker Rogers
Genestealers officially not cunning. Initiative 1 please.

>Is the Omega Vault still canon? The Omega Vault is in codex deathwatch.
It was a red herring to kill a bunch of dumbass eldar.

Penal legion didn't get shotguns. They got lasguns and that's it. One of the traits they could roll gave them a second CCW.

Gonna get at least one box. Those shotguns are tasty.

Madrakes aren't too bad anymore and Kroot would be considered a decent unit in anything but Codex: Optimized Steal Cadre and Riptide Wing.

I wonder what the Canadian price will be. NZ gets facefucked on the prices so they'll be lower in the West. I mean I'm still buying Chinese anyway unless there's a really good bundle deal like Betrayal at Calth or Wrath of the Hive Mind.

- rules for Genestealer Cults miniatures, the scavenged weapons they use to slaughter their victims, and army-building lists allowing for Hybrid and Brood Brother cultists drawn from the Astra Militarum;
- formations that make use of both the Genestealer Cults and Astra Militarum ranges, with notes on the wargear that Genestealer Cults scavenge and use for their own sinister ends;
- the Cult Ambush rule: dependent on a dice roll, Genestealer Cults units can set up anywhere on the table, deploy and charge in the same turn, and burst from their hidden lairs to surprise and engulf the enemies of the Cult;
Alexander Cox
Made this as a theoretical exercise, I don't think I could be enough of a knob goblin to legitimately airdrop five special weapons squads and blow up everything.
How could I improve it? Basic concept is the troops move forward and try not to get slaughtered, and as soon as the spec weapons grav chute in (or not if reserve rolls are that terrible) the platoons charge in and overwhelm what's left.

Well now I definitely have to buy this, I was going to do a genestealer cult for HoR anyway but now I can give their shotguns to my IG veterans.
I just want to see a picture of a bunch of sisters in repressors dozing through a horse of GS cults with fire bursting out of every fire point.

I think the sigmarification of 40k would be a good thing.
AoS plays much more smoothly than 40k. Storm casts play more like Space Marines.

So now the Nids players have become the Haves, instead of the Have-nots.
It's amazing how it changes a playerbase, almost instantly, you can see it in Tau players.
Sure Chaos players whine, but they have good reason to, give them a break.

Maybe even go full redemption corps and mix in human hybrids and ork hybrids in the same army.
