Tempted to replace Regeneration with Oracle, I'm only taking it for the unaging aspect and I feel like molecular telekinesis, oracle and the ability to direct the research of the entire planet should be enough to keep me alive for a few thousand years anyway.

I could do a lot of good with this. But I'd also probably get lost in there forever with my created companions, control over everything, and comfiness

The point of the AI, Veeky Forums with reality convert, machine learning, and such is so I can go back to the real world with great advantages. But why be great when you could be God? Also, I had stronk gear initially, but if I have a pool for swimming and can redesign myself as I please, why actually work out?

I could also see myself taking people in with me and healing/changing them for the better. But wouldn't it be a greater evil to show them such a wonderful place then limit their access?

Or, worse yet, they wish to stay. Then they're out of touch with reality entirely and your Comfy zone is shot because you have an actual person there to deal with. Unless you change them into whatever you wish, but that's pretty fucked up.

Personally, I wouldn't lock myself away in my realm; I'd just use it to greatly augment my life outside of it. That's why my build doesn't have imaginary people - no matter what, they'll always be fake.

Well I mean you are free to do what you wish with the thing but ultimately any ethical dilemmas you have are the result of your own actions, not the inherent properties of it. I wish I had tacked on a message in the thing somewhere that told people that they're under no obligation to use their power for great benefit to others, but I feel like that wouldn't really make people feel better about it so much.

Alternatively I could have made it so that you couldn't have used your powers to greatly benefit others but that would have just been cruel. So I suppose that's a loose end that will just have to stay.

Yeah, I know it's my problem. It's the theoretical "conflict" that fuels most of my CYOA imaginings.

I'm a well off dude who's pretty normal, with a genuine desire to be a good person. But, given power, it becomes much harder to be a good dude.

So, in the case of your CYOA (which is wonderful btw) I have two paths that I will inevitably end up on.

Master the Zone and what it can do. Better myself and others. Attempt to bring people in to help them, but eventually give in to my base nature. I'm not going to fool myself, everyone one I bring in would be an attractive woman. It would be consensual, of course, but once you're in the Zone with me...your thoughts, feelings, and body aren't really yours anymore, are they? They would be under my control. And I could pretend that I'm "helping" but the truth is that I'd be creating sex slaves.

The alternative is letting the power of the Zone control me. Getting lost in the solitude, never wanting to be in the real world, and using my Custom Character option to fulfill my emotional and physical needs. Yeah, it'd be a sad existence, but at least everyone else would be safe from me

Have you considered making the time stop controllable? As in, you can make it so time passes normally on both ends instead of always being stopped? It seems like it would be pretty difficult to use the Zone as a place to live, seeing as any amount of time you spend in it would need to be made up for outside. Like it seems like it would be nice to just be able to buy a cheap apartment, put up a piece of plywood right behind the front door, and put an Instant Hole on that plywood so it leads straight into the zone so you don't have to bother paying utilities or anything, but then you still have to leave the zone. So you'd wind up in a situation where you'd get home from work/whatever, go to your zone, sleep, wake up, leave, and you still have like twenty hours to kill (that you can't spend in your zone because that doesn't actually use them up).

Unless using it as a cheap apartment/house is against the spirit of the deal.

Why not just use it to effectively have 24 hour days?

What could you do for 24 hours in the real world that you wouldn't enjoy more in the Zone?

Leaving to have a somewhat normal life, I get. Family, a job, friends, even a SO. But that's not 24 hours worth of stuff to do. It's not like you'd want to read a book or play vidya IRL when you could be doing it in the Zone floating naked in midair while a cowgirl gives you a massage

Initially my idea was just to invite people in and spend some time with them before inviting someone else, and essentially spending multiple years without a single day passing.
The problem would be that in the long run I would have read all the books I want to read, watched the movies, played the games and so on that interest me; sure you can always broaden, but eventually you'll run out of quality entertainment.
The solution would be to create artificial companions and make them start a bunch of projects; jump out of the zone and speed time up, and after a minute or so 20 years of progress will be done. The issue is how much you can give companions skills and knowledge, but by making copies of others or using the AI teacher on them that should work well either way.
On the off chance that the artificial companions suck at creative work, I could "kidnap" some less fortunate people and just have them do it instead, and have the artificial companions act as some police.

Wear and tear would be an issue, and some less happy guest may deliberately destroy some things, so I got to make copies of everything because the mere passage of time could otherwise ruin everything. The stairway will be looked so that problems on one team won't effect the others.

If I for some reason wanted fame I could just sell the things they make, and CC will make sure that no one finds it odd that I've produced more in a day than a team of a hundred could accomplish in a hundred years.

Nice mystery puzzle in here. There was already one interesting solution with Hieronymous, would be nice to hear some more solutions.

Eh, don't worry. I once made a build where the point was basically to kidnap people and have them tortured in hell by succubi. The CYOA can do a lot more than comfy.

Bringing back the issue from last thread: according to Harem user this was created experimentally in order to examine the effect different presentation/writing techniques could have on the level of annoyance from reading about a waifu.
