What do the factions look like at the moment?

So is this basically /int/craft? seems very intcrafty from the chat.

I know it's cliche but i can't help but feel it'll be easiest just to have the good old fashioned Human/elf/dwarf and maybe Ork or.... kobold, factions/races.

RP is basically free for all, so it can be as serious, whacky, classic or avant-garde as you want to. We have players RPing as fantasy variants of actual, historical civilizations, and we have people doing straight-up classic fantasy.

What is this?
Basically a huge PvE, with waves of different enemies. Teams of 3 are formed, and will fight to build, survive, and collect loot.

What to bring:
Blocks (Wood for tools and Cobble/RAW STONE is good.) You can only have one stack of blocks, so make sure you make good use.
Arrows-- a lot of these.
Lapis if you're a mage.
A horse egg if you have one.
Up to one weapon or tool.

Veeky Forumscraft is a Minecraft server devoted to fostering a friendly enviroment to fantasy roleplay. Whilst also having elements of world building, PvP, and craftsmanship.

Provided by many in the modding community, is a plugin which alters plant growth rate per biome, and disables underground farms (except for mushrooms). As to create immersion and an incentive to explore, join up, and grow up.

Badmins will create dungeons, which will hold BBEGs (Big Bad Evil Guy's), which must be defeated in order for adventurers of all demographics (for muh diversity). To be capable of looting the ancient knowledge's lost in time, of spells and the arcane contained within - as well as some unique items created by RPGitems.

The current dungeon is the Accursed_Tower of the Necromancer, who is plotting to cause an eternal night and is frequently sending out his minions to harrass the living. The server is currently in a 7 day no PVP grace period, which will last until friday the 28th, so the necromancer cannot be destroyed yet - the players must strive to prepare to face down this menace until grace ends.

Dwarven Taverns are the coziest there are. Even those made for surface dwellers.

This project had potential. Shame Leskovar, the main admin of this project, randomly mutes and kills players ingame if you disagree with him on an issue or simply call him out on being silly. If you don't play a sandbox game his way, he will punish you for it.

Be warned This is the type of guy who spergs out until he gets his own way. Terrible personality type to give a position of authority to.

You use a blaze rod to cast a spell you know from this list, and lapis as mana. The server actually has custom spells being made almost daily it seems by one of the admins. Right now spells are rare and only 20 or so are available, but they can drop from various sources so we need help finding them. You'll get more details if you decide to join
