First for uninteresting bread, you shame breadanon

Prospero scans when.

It comes out on Saturday and not even a small leak ffs.

What do you want, scans of the board game rules? We already know the 1ksons get butt blasted as badly in the game as they do in fluff

Not yet sure what to think about gaming tables being flooded with Custodes coming weekend.
Grey Knights never caught on here so thankfully they're as rare a sight as in the fluff, but it already seems that Custodes are a lot more popular.

>tfw no WD scans
>tfw no paint guide scans

My typhon is going to be working overtime it seems.

>my legion is secretly on a mission from the emperor and he entrusted his personal guard to help praetor donut steele because they were besties back on earth
you ready for loyalist word bearers with custodes allies?

anyone got thoughts on a night lords list?

>I know my formatting sucks, but I know you can read it

Join the club. I'm club president by the way.

>Loyalist Word Bearers
Kek, that's against the rules!

And it's going to be more shameful than the breads I make these days.

>Custodes fighting alongside Gal Vorbak and that fucked up chaos contemptor

Emperor save us.

>board game comes with rules for the legions
>nobody has posted them

Wew

Your everything is fucked up, you spelt your primarch's name wrong, your Rite of war doesnt exist, your primarch isnt a HQ, assault squads dont get to take storm eagle DTs even with Angels Wrath, you need horror cult to take trophies of judgement on squads etc etc. I wont even give c&c on what shit you do have there

>No really, my backwater garrison of loyalist iron warriors also happened to have a contingent of custodes with them!
>It was just a really secretly important backwater garrison!

Dude, even MY shit wasn't as fucked up.

Tri-dubs confirm it.

>with rules for the legions
No it doesnt, rules for those two come out in Inferno, which wont be until february. I am possibly being trolled.

But there's a RoW you can give them intended for loyalists of traitor legion!

They're not even released and already the Custodes appear to be cheap whores.

Nope. Word Bearer LA rules explicitly state that they may only be used for a Traitor Force.

its not against the rules exactly
you just dont get anything good at all except the morale and sweeping advance thing

>My loyalist thousand sons actually had a group of custodes and sisters of silence with them when magnus ordered their ships away from prospero
>they just... didn't tell anyone about it

But inferno comes out on Saturday, user-kun

I think that's the lowest point.

Nope. You don't even get those.

fuck, forget 3 of thos trophies I fucked up, lemme find another 15 points

>fixed, sorry internet

I'm not worried at all.

You need 6 minimum to ally and the box comes with 5.

They're only AP2 on the charge, have no assault transports of their own, and can't enter allied transports on 30k. So they're shit outside of Zone Mortalis.

Then in zone mort the spears are decent, but only as survivable as tartaros armor against plasma. The shield guys are quality but only 4++ against shooting still. So not too spooky.

Footslogging assault units don't last long in 30k. Until their full list they're crap in normal games. When they get assault transports then they'll be spooky depending on the transports quality.

really?
i thought you get your LA, but nothing else

Are you having fun?

Nope. Like I said earlier, Word Bearer LA rules state that they may only be used to represent a Traitor aligned force.

>My backwater garrison of Iron Warriors was entrusted with protecting a valuable shard of ancient technology which the Emperor wanted to use in the construction of the golden throne, their guard duty being too important to be suspiciously suspended from it, and as such, were left in the dark about the rest of the legion's heresy
>Custodes were sent to retrieve the artifact on behalf of the Emperor, and the Iron Warrior guards, still loyalist as they hadn't moved from their guard post and were not involved with their heretical brothers, joined the Custodes in escorting the tech shard back to Terra, being both capable warriors and technology experts themselves.

No, am actually a bit confused about all this

>i just wanna play my sw

Just die already.

Then why do they get a RoW intended for loyalists?

Yeah, I'm not sure how to one-up that one.

Just remember, custodes/SoS are going to be BaC-tier everywhere. And you can bet the traitors are going to try and shove them into their lists with half-baked explanations (they're chaos custodes!).

Hopefully they get daemons or something to tide them over.

>my loyalist word bearers have a contingent of custodes helping them out because reason. I am running alpha legion rules and running gal vorbak to represent my veterans

>Imperial Fist Delegatus tasked with gathering legion forces spread throughout the systems and bring them back to Terra has his small cadre of Custodians to help in his task.

>And my OC is also wielding Drach'nyen btw

They don't. That RoW may only be used by traitor legions that are representing a loyalist portion of said forces. Word Bearers may not use it due to their rules requiring them to be traitor.

You can play Loyalist IW and have KE and Agents of the Emperor, as well as the loyalist traitors RoW.

You MUST play traitor WE.

I will accept daemons using Warp funk to look like Custodes and that's why their rules disappoint people.

>I'm running AL and I'm using Custodes to represent stolen Gal Vorbak.

>My loyalist Raven Guard allied with a bunch of Custodes to make up for the losses after the Isstvaan massacre.

That isn't sooooooo bad.

The fists were on terra, and dorn was in charge of mustering the loyal forces while the emperor was preoccupied with magnus' fuckups.

Banana delegatus on a mission from Earth with a handful of the golden boys in tow? Makes perfect sense.

>My DG needed help to find Typhon, so they requisitioned some Custodians, as they are too looking for him.

The Orphans of Betrayal specifically mentions WB as one of the legions that can use it.

>Custodes fought alongside RG in Deliverance Lost.

You already have a reason to take them. A bunch of them even died.

Meh, I'm just chalking that one up to an inconsistency.

Then again, the RoW doesn't actually have the must play as a loyalist limitation, oddly enough, so RAW, Word Bearers actually could use it. Though they can't take any units limited to a traitor legion.

...which, RAW, is the entire Word Bearers legion.

>I'm fielding Custodes with White Scars because people keep on asking for the Custodes to come and help them do small, extremely situationally specific tasks across the universe and the White Scars help them get there faster on their fast bikes.

>...which, RAW, is the entire Word Bearers legion.
which book is that in? i'm not seeing it in book 2

Best explanation.

Consistency!

>Horus needed help finding Alpharius to find out how the attack against the Sol system went, so he and his Justaerin had some Custodes with them to aid in the search

The Orphans of Betrayal RoW lists Word Bearers as being able to take it and be Loyalist.

In the Age of Darkness Legions book, there's a note on the Word Bearers legion rules that say that these rules may only be used to represent a traitor force.

>I'm fielding the Custodes with Horus himself, the arch traitor of the heresy, because the Custodes are secretly waiting for horus to reach a vulnerable position in battle so they can make sure he's been fully killed and isn't dragged into the warp, and as such, are only pretending to be his allies, such is their loyalty to the Emperor.

Actually, I just checked. It doesn't actually say anything about having to be loyalists, it just says play a traitor legion and have no traitor-specific units. RAW, all Word Bearer units are traitors because of their Legiones Astartes rules, as user pointed out.

24 Hours. Can you wait that long?

The Shield-Captain is reportedly heard muttering something about victory and being alone for the first time. Unknown meaning.

Granted, the units are not traitor specific. Usually they put a traitor only on special units also (See HQ). You could run them as outcast Heretic WBs but they would have to be traitors.

General consensus here is no loyalist WB but if you really care, email FW and see if they are willing to untangle the fustercluck of rules.

I would say loyalist WB use blackshield rules.

I mean, if we go by technicalities, they are indeed, Traitor specific.

Just means no daemon units or named WB HQs.

It also states traitor specific units, which by technicality, are the entire WB legion.

>Things that will never stop a game from happening unless you're a major dick

Not him, but is there seriously anyone who wants to play loyalist word bearers? Because that sounds like the blandest shit ever

>unless you're a major dick
Or a tournament organizer

No TO is going to look at that RoW and say, "This RoW, that specifically says Word Bears can take it listed right there, can't be taken by Word Bearers."

Because it's listed right there that they can. It's muddy RAW because FW is bad at rules.

I even hate WB, but no way would I stop and opponent from taking that RoW.

Those two positions are entirely interchangeable

hipsters looking for snowflakes, I guess

not sure they count as people though

Okay, I'm pretty sure he's finally done.

>Considering to rename every tournament organiser 'Major Dick'

which character has been trolled the most in the HH series so far?

both the marine and the white is a little thiccc
it looks good though

loving it, the helmet does balance out the legs a fair bit

You turned a pretty bad and fat model into a pretty cool and fat model. White looks a wee bit thick though.

Agreed.

> loyalist daemons

Thanks!

And you know what, you're not wrong. I may rushed a bit on the white and laid it on too thick. Not much to be done for it now, I'm afraid.

transfers are too clean for such a worn and battle damaged model.

...

That day all my interest in maybe starting Lizard man some day died.

Battle brother cream cheese just had a few too many gyros after his gladiatorial matches. I'm sure it's the camera adding an extra twenty pounds.

I'm running Alpha Legion and using Custodes because the Alpha Legion is in your Adeptus guarding your Emperor.

>My Dark Angels are accompanied by a contingent of Custodes because my Praetor is a Terran veteran and the Custodes keep following him around calling him Senpai and Onii-sama.

AoS was a mistake

Any chance we are ever going to get the Interex for 30k? I think they were around during this time period.

no

No.

The Interex were killed off before the Horus Heresy.

We already have loyalist daemons

But maybe there are loyalist interex with custodes bodyguards.

GeeDubs will never introduce a non- Imperial or Chaos human faction.

Shame.

*cough* Genestealer cults *cough*

On a scale from triggered to ass blasted, how much would you complain if I made my grav rapier batteries from these models? The crew would have one pauldron painted red or have a techmarine pauldron.

Stealer Cults.

I mean if Chaos counts as a human faction, they would too.

Finished building my khorne berserker inductii kitbashes tonight. By the first guy I was posing him like a primarch and giving him a name and a story (name: Killzall, story: kills all) but by inductii #20 I was so tired and running low on bits...I just started making them look like the shitty berserkers on the box.

Make great myrmidon destroyers.

Depends on what Legion and when in the Heresy.

I mean Iron Warriors, doing shit like that by Terra is expected. Space Wolves, not so much.
