Find a flaw

Find a flaw.

If you can.

Made by Ryza

Soft terrain.

No active protection system. Thank god nobody has heard of top-attack missiles in WH40K.

>Fixed gun, again.
>Find a flaw with a vehicle that is incapable of shooting behind itself without taking time to turn the entire vehicle.
Do you ever get bored of this?

>vulnerable to haywire
>no turret
enjoy being flanked

To be fair it's more of a mobile artillery piece in its intended role than it is a tank.

It's not the STC's fault you're scratching in the dirt of human greatness with your reduced military budgets.

Fire Dragons from behind. Anything with haywire. A whole bunch of drop troops with S6 weapons or better.

Riveted armor.

It'd go faster if it were red.

>Can be destroyed
Laughing whatever gay ass suit the Tau will come up with next.bmp

Haywire

>To be fair
Stop using this when responding to other people's arguments. It makes you sound like self-righteous cunt.

not as self righteous faggot

It needs more secondary armament

Wasn't made by Xana.

How to run guard? Wyverns, Chimeras, and Guardsmen/vets?

How are Macharius Vanqs? They seem like an agile, versatile leman russ

I AM a self-righteous cunt.

Really all you would need to take this tank down is some dudes on motor cycles and few well placed grenades to the treads and plasma gun.

>can't fly

It's not as big as it could be.

>Newage post-Crusade shite

Double the price for zero increase in firepower/10.

High body size and limited gun depression means its pretty fucked when cresting a hill until it gets most if not all the way over.

Shouldn't the targeting array be separate from the gun? If it's aiming at an angle it's not going to be able to see where it's firing to adjust the shot.

I find that hull mounted heavy bolter hilarious.
I mean what kind of damage will a heavy bolter realistically do to anything that survived a fucking Plasma Blastgun to the face?
It´s like putting a fucking Ratling with a las pistol on there too for good measure

To be fair, he could already be a self-righteous cunt

To be fair, you sound more like a self-righteous cunt then he does.

To be fair, there is literally nothing wrong with being a self righteous cunt.

It's probably there to shoot at things there's no reason to fire a power-draining overly-complicated plasma supercannon.

What bothers me is that to fire the heavy bolter at this guy running behind the ruins with a rocket launcher and a bad attitude, you have ti turn an ENTIRE FUCKING SUPERHEAVY TANK because the heavy bolter is obviously fixed in that position.

It isn't a Baneblade, Hellhammer, or Stormlord.

>being fair is wrong

OK

And bridges.

Too large to make any sense for a 28mm scale game.

not enough dakka

>"muh lack of turret"
>Laughing_WW2_tank_destroyers.png

's 40k innit?

It's there to fucking deal with whatever survived the blast, or to kill small infantry groups while big gun deals with real threats.

Maybe look up Elefant tank destroyer, dumb nazis thought like you, that big gun in front of heavy vehicle is enough. Then soviet soldiers with a single AT grenade each burned or immobilized a few dozen of them...

You have side bolter turrets for that. Hull one is only for front targets up close they can't hit through threads or hull.

The fixed bolter is probably a range gun.
Or more accurately, inspired by rangefinding guns without realizing that using a gyrojet kind of defeats the purpose.

The Elefant didn't fire a shell that exploded in a huge blast that insta-killed infantry.

Bridges, mud.

it really needs something to cover its flank with those tanks on the back restricting the lascannons or maybe its just the angle im looking at and those lascannons can fire behind it fine

>You have side bolter turrets for that
those side bolters cant hit behind
the lascannons have a lot more range but those barrels on the back are going to get in the way of firing directly backwards

To be fair, having a cunt for yourself can be righteous.

Solution: never retreat.

>>To be fair

is fictional

If it Gets Hot, then its army is dead.
To be fair the enemy will be dead too
And everything in a 50K radius

>twin linked vanqs
>the ability to still switch to the 7' battlecannon
>super heavy and all the advantages that come with that
yeah nah , they aren't great but they're still the best macharius you can get

that thing has the option of not overcharging it's guns and that doesn't get hot

Soviet 152 mm assault guns had HE shells that pretty much killed any infantryman caught in the open in huge radius. Spoiler alert - they did have machine guns.

So what, if you deploy super heavy tanks you only do it when you mass your forces and behind you should be only your front lines and escorting vehicles.

what the fuck do they think that hull-mounted heavy bolter is ever going to accomplish?

as a tracer weapon it's perfect for aiming the super heavy plasma cannon.

It's a co-axial, meaning it's a useful ranging and targeting device any time the Machine Spirit - AKA golden retriever brain in a jar - is being testy.

Patrician taste.
You forgot the Shadowsword, though.

>AKA golden retriever brain in a jar - is being testy.
We found the edgiest guy in the universe then mounted his brain to a gun.

Dies to removal.

That's a sad mental image, the machine spirit just wants to be friends and have the other guys play with them.

> Weapons from WW2
> A good design basis for modern and future weaponry systems

not enuff dakka

>Find a flaw
>enjoy being flanked
>yeah but that doesnt count bro find another one you shit

>WWII tank destroyers
>useful in any way
>pick one
>inb4 stug 3 because that was more of an assault gun for direct fire support, and would've been outshone by the proper tanks if germany ever got its shit together
Friendly reminder that turretless tank destroyers and assault guns were a good idea on paper, before WWII rolled along and turned their proponents into a laughing stock.

To be honest given that IoM armour design seems to ripped clean from the inter-war period, WW2 designs would probably be magical futuristic shit for them. Like, sloped armour would be some kind of disgusting techheresy.

>20,000 destroyed enemy armored vehicles
>Useless
The Stug is arguably the best armored fighting vehicle of the war

>would've been outshone by the proper tanks if germany ever got its shit together
The stug can only even be considered a decent AFV through the sheer weight of numbers it was produced in, and the evolutionary design upgrades it was given (compared to the revolutionary ones the panzers got); both of which were down to its relatively simple design. Again, if the proper tanks were given this treatment, we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

Also,
>arguably
>implying anything can even compare to tsundere soviet pic related

>find a flaw
NOT ENUF DAKKA! WAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!

DIS AN YU DIN PAINT IT RED SO ITZ SLOW AS A GROT

>using casemated guns
what compels people to be this retarded.

>The Stug is arguably the best armored fighting vehicle of the war
i'd rather be crewing a panzer IV instead of a stug, and that's saying something

Maybe they want to shoot the two dudes standing on either side of the target? Dunno? Nothing the imperium does makes sense.

except tank destroyers during WW2 could get away with it because they're not supposed to directly confront enemy armor. MBTs can't because they're supposed to both engage enemy armor and support infantry

>tank destroyer
>tank
>destroyer
>not supposed to directly confront enemy armor

>facing enemy tanks in a vehicle with 57mms of armor like the M10
you do realize that the M18's main defensive measure was it's 90mph top speed

To be fair, that seems like an overreaction on your part

What compels people to call things used IRL for perfectly sensible reasons retarded?

Do glowing red guns dakka faster?

>perfectly sensible reasons retarded?
because they are and were phased out by all armed forces worth shit

Except its pretty obvious the reasoning in the 40k vehicle is the same, you need a heavy weapon on a chassis and the only practical way to do it is with a casemate.

This is as stupid as the guy who bitched the Centaur was unrealistic even though its an outright copy of the Universal Carrier and does the same roles.

WTF are you talking about, it has a turret.

That is a casemate, if you look closely it cannot rotate.

COURSE NOT YA BLOOMIN' GIT! EVERYWUN KNOWS DAT YELLA IS DA CULER FER DAKKA!

it's not a casemate, the part of the tank that the plasmacannon is in is raised, making it a turret.
