Scoria is definitely up there, especially with the Homonculex for backup, which takes him to the right points level. I can see more like him, but other than demons and the Tech-Priests its hard to justify Legionnaires of that power level as they all have Primarchs anyway.

I can see him being melded to some form of Chaos Engine and using scrapcode attacks like the Contagium Relic, so less of a combat beast and more a supporting/armour-smashing Super-Character.

That would be pretty cool. I think another Scoria clone would be kind of boring. Make him the Alpharius of mechanicum characters. Some beatstick potential, but mostly support.

I want that for new Mechanicum releases generally, at this point. Army has lots of melee and ranged beatsticks already, I would like some buff bubbles and such. But support LOW types are really uncommon due to people expecting a 400pt model to kill almost anything.

I do wonder what loyalist mechanicum characters will be coming. Assuming FW doesn't ignore BL again, perhaps we will see Koriel Zeth. I just can't think of any characters that were powerhouses.

It takes place after the Heresy and Scouring. I'm not too sure how long after, but the Inquisition is a major player at this point and it's a fair number of years after the Rubric was cast. It was also before Ahriman seized control of the Brotherhood of Dust and renamed them the Prodigal Sons. Still, great series and I'd absolutely recommend reading them.

The model seems to get lighter from stages 5 to 6, even though apparently nothing's been done to the marine itself between these stages. Is this some optical illusion from the lighter base or something?
