>A psychically powerful individual decides they are pissed off with the modern affairs of the world and essentially causes every world leader and poltician to have aneurysm

How does this seg-way into a post apoc setting?

>they keeps doing it with even the ones replaced, until nations start cutting international commiunications
>border disputes start getting solved violently
>world powers get very nervous and mount several counterattacks to help allies
>miscommunication indicates the big three is attacking one another
>nukes atop the international chaos

Well provided nobody crazy gets their hands on the nukes we'll probably see less of a post apocalypse and more of balkanization out the ass as every single militia group and anarchist ideology competes to find out which one works the best.

Excuse me, WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT

Massive religious upheaval. Half the religious folk call it divine punishment and radicalize, starting riots with the intent to overthrow and destroy all modern society. The other half radicalize under the idea that those slain have been raptured. Death cults abound. Things only get worse when a muslim terrorist sets off a dirty bomb in the vatican while the remaining bishops are trying to elect a new pope and figure out who gets to be a cardinal. The population dwindles in a matter of months as the various cults kill each other, themselves, and everyone that disagrees with them. Within a year, the number of christians, muslims, and jews on earth will drop down to the four-digit range. Hinduism, Sihkism, Buddhism, and Scientology will become the major world religions, but even they will be hit hard by the death-throes of the Abrahammic Menaces.

Infrastructure breaks down as the companies and government agencies which maintain roads, power plants, shipping services, telecomm systems, news agencies, farms, etc lose both their leadership and their base labor force.

North Korea goes nuts and launches all its missiles, mortars, etc at everything in its general vicinity. China, South Korea, Japan, and American forces in the area respond by invading but civilian casualties are high all around. Insurgent groups throughout Russia rise up to retake their homelands, leading to literally hundreds of civil wars there.

The Mexican cartels seize power and start moving their soldiers into southern Texas, leading to brutal fighting all along the American southwest.

Africa stays pretty much the same.

And that's about it.

Fashion. It gives an aura of "I am someone who lives a busy lifestyle and have things going on at all times"

At least that's the excuse I'd come up with

>whole world goes to shit
>africa is still shit

To be honest, modern-day politicians are basically like any other historical ruling class but with two main exceptions
* The political system allows for relatively rapid replacement of politicians (it happens all the time, after all)
* It is not required, or even necessary, for a politician to have any particular skills or aptitudes

Despite the fact that we refer to these people as "leaders", they don't really lead in any immediately helpful or necessary way.

New laws would not get made for a bit, an election would be held, new "leaders" chosen.
In the interim, it might actually be a net positive for society if you factor in the cost (in terms of reduced economic growth) of constantly readjusting to arbitrary changes, complications, and additions to the legal environment based on fickle whims more so than any attempt to improve or optimize anything whatsoever.

Basically, there's relatively little reason to believe anything cataclysmic would happen as a result of this event's structural impact on society. The existing laws don't go away just because there aren't people around to make more of them.

The panic and emotional reaction of people to the deaths of all these people, especially in light of their symbolic significance, is probably going to be the source of any real problems that result from this occurring.
But that could very well result in nuclear war, etc.

>* The political system allows for relatively rapid replacement of politicians (it happens all the time, after all)

Implying most politicians don't serve from their first mandate until death.

But he didn't imply that, politicians get replaced all the time WHILE serving from their first mandate until death. They just get another place after getting replaced.
It a musical chairs game without removing chairs.
Which go with the lack of skill requirements, politicians are interchangeable and can go from agriculture to diplomacy, from local to national level, without any difficulties (for them).

Its socket wrench, duh

>It is not required, or even necessary, for a politician to have any particular skills or aptitudes
Typical american. No wonder you chose a bumbling retard to be president since obviously making public decisions that affect the well being of everybody can be done by any mouth breathing retard.

He also seems to think being shot out of the right vagina is somehow a skill?

SEGUE

Thread hidden and ignored.

Well, what do you expect? Corrupt warlords patrolling the continent, seizing anything they can take by force of arms? Militias sending armed patrols to kidnap new recruits? Common villagers being ground underfoot by oppressive religions and regimes? that's tuesday for them. the only changes would be the small handful of civilized cities and nation-states dependent on outside money and support would collapse faster than they already are.

I thought he was making a joke based on the Segway.

Don't forget Americans base their votes on what they saw on TV in the 24 hours before voting.

Man, I cannot see this happened at all.

What I imagine would happen is that the whole thing would be very mundane. Some religious folks would invoke the idea of divine intervention but nobody would listen to them, especially if all the religious world leaders got brainspoloded too, no matter their ideology or level of extremism. It's hard to argue that the corrupt non-theistic government must be replaced by your leadership when your leadership has also died of psychic shock.

There would be new elections, new leaders, etc. Efforts would be made to determine what the fuck happened. Killing the ultimate leader of a government would cause a short period of upheaval in that government, but most systems are designed to work without them.

Supporters of the slain leaders may get paranoid and attack whoever they see as their enemies, assuming them responsible, but I doubt that would last or be widespread.

People voting the way they did had more to do with desperation than anything else.

It's gonna be pretty ugly when Trump realizes that he can't actually deliver on half his promises, especially those that won him the Rust Belt.

Or people will just go back being apathetic.
Well I guess you could say that's ugly.

>How does this seg-way into a post apoc setting?
Coups.
The people first to claim their suddenly-vacant thrones are the fast, not the good nor the talented.
War ignites on several fronts (not just flashpoints, but where the fastest on the draw use force to quell their rivals) and the whole thing folds out with tedious inevitability toward strategic arms exchange.
