These stats are shit for a Daemon Primarch...
Is this a joke?

We chaos, what were you expecting?
Don't see anything outrageous in all that, as they said, it's in the Psychic phase where Tzeentchian daemons come into their own. Cheers for bringing it to my attention tho'.
Also he is a LoW, the size of an Imperial Knight, and not a FGC?
Once a nerd, always a nerd.
I don't see a problem with Primarch+1.
Though the 4+ save is pretty funny.
How and why OP? He's ML6, and manifests on 2+. Do you really think he'd be tougher? He's also a 7 wound, 4++ MC
Rumour has it his primaris power gives him a 2++ and Tzeentchs powers give magnus re-rolls on invul rolls of 1...
rumors that came from a shitposter on here
That sounds about right, I can't see why you're bitching.
Tougher than a regular primarch, but that's to be expected with being a daemon and all - the save is awful, but he's magic and a daemon, so inv is a given
I'm guessing he'll be poor in the gear and non-psyker special rules though?
Not at all. Go on the gdubz Facebook profile and all of the comments point to this
Thats better than most primarchs in HH.
>smack him with a xenophase blade
>he has to re-roll all of his saves
>you can't re-roll a die more than once, so the failures on the second roll stand
hee hee
>scrawny nerd that needs to rely on foul sorcery to do anything
>good stats
Choose 1
>S8 T7 W7
>scrawny nerd
Wolf fags in a Tsons thread already, what else is new?
> Reroll failed saves
> Reroll successful saves
> Just roll all the dice, pick them all up and roll them again!
the first roll is for a warm up
That's not exactly a bad statline an-
>4+
???
Compare to Leman Russ
WS9 BS6 S6 T6 W6 I7 A6 Ld10 Sv2+
I'd say Demon Magnus is good, normal Magnus will probably be -1 to all stats.
>Implying both wolves and TSons aren't shit
Okay ultrafag.
BAfag
>Superior red marines
>Superior melee marines
>Superior monster marines
>Superior role in the Heresy marines
Face it, dog and dust dicks were a mistake.
This. Why should Magnus be a CC monster? Now Angron, sure he should be like WS 10, S 10, T 9 with an assload of attacks, but daemon Magnus shouldn't even be able to beat the more CC oriented primarchs in close combat which he can't. Horus can defeat daemon Magnus in CC, at a glance Fulgrim likely could as could Ferrus or Perturabo probably.
Leman Russ shouldn't be WS 9. Fucking Horus and Fulgrim aren't even WS 9. I wouldn't mind giving him Str 7 for WS 8 but WS 9 just seems like masturbation even if it is arguably worse than Str 7.
angron is a manlet, but he does have WS10
Plus they have the most lulzy special character possible using the custom rules.
>+1 Strength
>Sword that causes 2 wounds per successful wound rolled
>Warlord trait that lets him have instant death on his attacks for a single round of CC
>5.8 instant death wounds to save in a single phase on average possibly at initiative 6
Outside of Sigismund (who still has a decent chance of being killed) nobody T 4 is safe, even T5 or 6 guys without EW are in quite a bit of danger.
I think its fine, same WS as Angron.
Isn't that over a decade old? Assuming Magnus' base stats are 6s across the board an average demon primarch gets +2 strength and +1 to everything else. So daemon Angron would be
WS 10, BS Who cares?, S 9, T 7, W 6, I7? A7?
Don't remember his initiative or attacks off the top of my head. I would like to see daemon primarchs mostly made special by rules that are like their existing special rules on steroids plus special wargear and the like. Fulgrim gets his poison sword that he killed Guilliman with for example.
>an average demon primarch gets +2 strength and +1 to everything else
who says becoming a daemon gives them positive traits
Yes, Angron, a gladiator who only gets his WS 9 because his legion obsesses about melee combat in all its forms to the point where they get +1 WS just for being in a challenge. Fulgrim is just WS 8 and ends up getting the first primarch kill, the most primarch kills, and is often considered one of the best fighters among the primarchs. Likewise Horus was the absolute greatest of the primarchs in actual combat and even he is only WS 8. WS 9 is really just masturbation, superior skills among the primarchs should mostly be represented through wargear and special rules like Fulgrim's sublime swordsman or Horus' talon.
Why the fuck would a primarch becoming a daemon be a downgrade? Are you retarded?
Because like to pretend that CSM being complete ass is an intentional nod to the fluff.
Well, space marines becoming daemons are pretty much always downgraded, so it stands to reason the primarchs would follow suit.
Space marines becoming daemons princes isn't a downgrade.
Even for primarchs it's a physical buff, but it does come with daemon weaknesses of limited hang-around time, needing a warp rift, and certain silver assholes having a cheat codes and weapons that you're super-vulnerable to.
I don't expect HH Magnus to this beefy, for example
>not taking his psychic powers into account
New Lore of Change, all powers force successful dtw rolls be rerolled
Primaris: +2 to invulns, passed saves reflect s3 ap3 blind hits back
1: reroll all to hit rolls for one unit for one turn
2: pick the result of one dice in your turn
3: a unit's weapons gain Force
4: 3d6" S: d6 AP: d6 Assault d6 Witchfire
5: you an opponent roll off and add the number of WC you want to spend, loser takes the difference in totals in Perils rolls
6 - 12" S: D AP- line, starts at -2 on the D table but you can spend extra warp charges to offset this
Magnus gets the Rubric too, 12" Nova that works like Mind War and transforms things it kills into new 1kSons/Spawn
Get fucked furries.
>2+ inv
Now that's more like it.
guess that's confirmed
>pick the result of one dice in your turn
oh the possibilites
If it's true and not just hearsay. We haven't seen any leaks confirming it, unless there's something I've missed.
Okay, so assuming no psychic powers, this guy vs Chapter Master Smashfucker.
>4+ armor save
I wish it was worse to fuck grav over
Magnus.
yfw when there's a daemon primarch special rule that reduces all his stats to 1 and his saves to 6+/6++ when in base contact with Kaldor Draigo
You sure? We're talking about a Space Marine that can fight and kill all the Horus Heresy-era Primarchs, here.
Can he fly?
Well, yeah. Magnus isn't a burly warrior dude, he's a psychic nerd. I expect that if you've got him in CQC in the first place, your plans have already gone all fucked up and that he'll be much more effective kept in the back lines and flinging magic death rays everywhere.
Is this legit? Lots of people are saying it was made up by someone here on Veeky Forums, reposted on BoLS, and then was reposted here by people taking it seriously via accidental circular logic
disbelieve if you will but i made that shit up to see if BOLS would run it
see also the "fluff leaks" saying lukas the trickster dies and bjorn and krom get sucked into the eye of terror
