So there's no way to download adversary decks out there right?

I do need more enemies.

Is it a good idea to integrate elements of the PT, like Separatists, into an EotE campaign?

so were Tarkin and Vader friends, or were they like wargaming buddies who move in the same circles and had some respect for eachother but didn't really have much of an opinion on the other person?

Sure! Why not?

Slightly rivals but they had respect.

I'm playing a B-1 Battle Droid

Also, see the Rebels Episode "The Last Battle"

New XWHD chapter up. Next up, hopefully an XWSOL chapter.

If it makes sense for your campaign, go for it. All that CIS milsurp has to end up somewhere, after all.

In the comics, Vader defends Tarkin when Tagge delivers his speech about the colossal waste that was the Death Star.

>You have numbers, admiral. Tarkin had vision.

When a Sith actively defends you, you've got more than their respect.

Alright boys, I'm being inducted into an AoE campaign. What to expect? What are typical sessions like? How do I go about making a cool character?

As an X-wing player, I told the DM I wanted to be a pilot, so he assigned me to be a co-pilot to one of the players.

> What to expect?
be prepared to be confused by the dice, and then be prepared to get super creative with the results once you know the values associated with them.

I hope for your continued survival that your DM is running houserules for vehicle combat because you won't feel like an ace anytime soon. As is, vehicle combat is a lethal clusterfuck and grinding for talents barely helps.

Concentrate on boosting your stats during character creation. Boosting skills and talents is easy, but characteristics are almost locked and determine if you can be competent even untrained.

>I told the DM I wanted to be a pilot, so he assigned me to be a co-pilot to one of the players.
I hope you've either got house rules or enjoy paranoia-tier character death rates

What house rules are needed for space combat?

This artist makes some pretty decent fanart despite Filoni murdering their ship.

...

Here's one of the house rule documents /swg/ likes to use.

I just realized something.

Enemy Lines says that the Boreialis siege was the first time the New Republic EVER used (Mass?) orbital bombardment.

They got over their reluctance to use CENTERPOINT before "Nuke them from orbit" became a viable tactic?

Also dear god the plot summaries of the Centerpoint Vong book seem incredibly stupid.

Fucking damn, I get that they needed a way to have the Vong remain a threat when nuking them with a hyperspatial gravity rift no matter where in the galaxy they hid would end the war in minutes, but in that case just ...Say centerpoint wasn't functional as a weapon for some plot contrived reason.

Don't have a dumb plotpoint where Jacen cries "Abloo-bloo-bloo genocide!" to convince Anakin not to shoot the superweapon even against a MILITARY ENGAGEMENT, then have the weapon backfire and blow up friendlies when Thraken uses it.

It was a it was a tens-of (possibly hundreds-of)-thousand-year-old tool that that was still primed and operational. They did NOT understand how it worked. They did NOT understand how to safely misuse it to cause the hyperspace explosion, and didn't feel like trying, despite the capacity for instance hyperspace travel across the galaxy. No one particularly wanted to build another superweapon after the Dark Times, two Death Stars, and another 10 years of war and various crisis.

Yes, your arguments about the characters are correct, but there are a few things that you're missing.

I thought it only misfired because Thraken used it instead of Anakin.

Still they should have just said it was not able to fire any more for *REASONS* in an offhand comment, not devoted an entire book to the implications of a superweapon that combined the Galaxy Gun, Suncrusher, and Death Star into a single platform.

Tracken had about as much chance of killing himself, blowing up his target, destroying the entire Corellian system, and/or just tearing Centerpoint apart.

Anakin may have had a better chance at using it successfully, although Jedi have never been too emotionally stable when it comes to killing a fuckton of people at once.

>Anakin may have had a better chance at using it successfully, although Jedi have never been too emotionally stable when it comes to killing a fuckton of people at once.
>Vong
>People
Pick one.

Other than Scut, but he and the other non evil vong were not added till late in the story arc.

They wouldn't feel the deaths in the force either so that's a bonus.

Ah wait, I forgot, the Reptoid slave-soldiers have a force presence in-tune with the main galaxy's force frequency for SOME fucking reason.

Time for lightsabers

...

...

Sith Alchemy is whack.

...

I am reading Junior Jedi Knights and the non Rebecca Moesta forst one is only sorta okay, other than R2 being a bad influence uncle and lying to Luke to cover for the kids.

>that stock

Who the fuck made that gun, Wookiees?

OH GOD WHY IS A FOLDING STOCK UNDER THE FUCKING BARREL

>I heard you like Folding Stocks?

...

Gillen, being a wargaming person, obviously knows the 'efficiency' debate and played off a huge joke about it.

In another series, Tagge would have been the hero.

I can't be the only one to see Megatron's face on the first two images, can I?

Looks more like Ultra Magnus to me.

Fuck that's cool. Sauce?

>Who the fuck made that gun, Wookiees?

Reminds me a bit of the Khyber Pass guns you'd see broke-ass Afghan's toting around.
Go over the border to Habib's Gun & Hookah Emporium, give them a gun. Wander off for a few hours, smoke some hash, get the goat lubricated and what not, come back and they'll have made you a facsimile of whatever you gave them. Guys making it have next to no fucking idea how a gun works, they just take all the bits apart, measure them (maybe) and bash the whole lot out with hammers, hand tools, files and blowtorches. They'll even duplicate the serial numbers, proof marks* and shit.

Artists are much the same- shooting bit is there, thingy that makes it shoot is there, then dangle some space tactical shit off the rest of it.

>*may or may not actually blow up

>Khyber Pass guns

Heres a glock chambered in 9x18 makarov

This shit reminds me of the Chinese knockoff guns that sometimes get shown on Forgotten Weapons.

Ah yes, the 'Glonk', I posted that one up in /k/ awhile ago in a funny thread about home made shit.
Funny thing about that which gets me is they made some of it out of sawdust and epoxy. The insides though are kind of interesting, they're rougher than guts but actually do 'kind of' look like they're work.

Cheers

...

Tried colouring it with urban camo, was fun

My inner /k/ommando sperged out over the folding stock + fixed stock thing so i hacked it out in MSpaint and remade the folding stock into a short bipod. It's not long enough to stabilize it when prone but it works for propping it up on a window sill or short wall

In a galaxy far, far away are there still people who hunt animals for food and furs? I want to make someone who still uses a blaster (maybe something carbine length), but isn't a smuggler, mercenary, law, raider or soldier. Just not a psychopath who shoots womp rats for fun.

There are absolutely hunters. Some of them may also branch into bounty hunting because there is a fair bit of overlap in the skillsets.

There's a section in Darksaber where Luke and Callista go to Hoth and encounter a group of big game hunters poaching Wampas for their pelts and hire themselves out to wealthy patrons for hunting tours. They get shitwrecked because wampas are smarter than they look and they didn't take enough precautions with ammo and gear, but hunting tours are a thing.

Also, capturing live game would be a viable business as well. Aside from places like the Circus Horrificus, the Geonosians in Ep2 had to get their gladiatorial animals from somebody.

>New XW:HD
>more Boss

Fuckin' A. XWW you're a legend

Nobody has scanned them. And they're just copies of other existing stats throughout the other books, so there's nothing actually new in them. If you're strapped for cash but like the convenience, I know people have made blank card templates in a similar style as the adversary decks (should be on the FFG forums somewhere) so that you can fill those in yourself and then print those out.

Explorer has the Big Game Hunter specialization, so that's probably your best bet (assuming you're playing FFG, that is.

Spacebunp

Umbubu! Fetch me my Krayt Dragon gun!

Utinni!

Just cause its a stock on the real sterling, doesn't mean its one on the E-11. Especially since we never see it used as a stock.

>Especially since we never see it used as a stock
We do in pages 8-9 of The New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology.

I meant in the movies and Clonewars.

Having the stock not be a stock separates visually it from a sterling and creates a design language for other Imperial rifles to be based on.

Pablo has called it a stock and shown it extended on twitter.
We actually HAVE seen the DC15 carbine's stock extended, even if the hinge is on the wrong side of the grip and bisects the trigger group.

Reading junior Jedi knights, a sapient species needs a specific high O2 water pool location to transition to aquatic adulthood and are helpless against massive predators while there. The New Republic never even considered giving them some gunturrets, or artificially oxygenated water tanks. Or having any jedi from the other Yavin moon routinely hop over to help.

Prime Directive

Writers often forget just how much firepower and superscience is available with Star Wars tech,

Alright then. Double stock it is. I still think trying to preserve the E-11 design language in the newer guns is the reason why they did it though.

Well, yeah, that much is clear. Most artists generally aren't /k/ommandos, let alone gun owners or gunsmiths.

>tfw no blasterized Chauchat
>tfw no blasterized Colt Monitor
>tfw no blasterized SKS

I love the various second-line imperial forces in different things. Like Navytrooper security, gunners, engineers etc.

Have some more.

Have a Chauchat obrez to add to your other chauchat abominations

Binary launch lifter. I love the idea of industrial bots being militarized.

Also the army has their own version of swamptroopers outside the Stormtrooper Corps.

Stormtrooper heavy version.

There's also apparently a light one that's jsut a green scout trooper.

Hah, didn't make the cut for Beach Trooper eh!

Well we have those now too.

Which is cool.

Gonna be running Beyond the Rim for the first time tonight. What should I expect?

I have a question on my Hot Cops build Veeky Forums

Right now it's pic related. I'm not sure if I should bump RAC up to PS 10 though, instead of PS9. I think my 2 point initiative bid is more than healthy. Alternatively, I could also take Dauntless or a Seismic Charge.

Thoughts?

>Hot Cops
>Not a Corran list
One job, user

Need to bring back the Zero-G assault stormtrooper, these guys have caused some major pants-shitting moments in the past.
Landing on PC freighters, ripping off hull plating like its an orange peel and then filling the inside with major amounts of fiery death. The shuttles they used where awesome too, some major shields and firepower.

I think the Gamma-class assault transports were slightly scarier than the Gamma-class Assault Shuttles.

I know the Escort Transports were fucking crazy deathmachines.

From memory Gamma's made a habit of grabbing people's ships with a big old tractor beam and just melting the absolute shit out of them with 4 monster blaster cannons.
Some of them might have had conc missiles too, been awhile and don't remember exact loadout on those

keep the bid, keep them both ps9, there will be times where you are thankful for having the bid

YOU CAME TO THE WRONG NEIGHBORHOOD MOTHERFUCKER.
I just hated the Transports in XWA Omnidirectional turbolasers.

>AWAKEN MY IMPERIAL MASTERS.jpg

I really adore the Coruscant red troopers, excellent looking armor with a focus on riot suppression.

Wait a sec the one in the front's missing his left forearm.

I don't get it.
I guess I'm just kinda scared of phantoms, and I would love the ability to slam into a ship and then boost past them.

>I don't get it.
The joke is that Corran Horn was an actual police officer.

the ps will let you boost around and get better shots at phantoms, shooting before they can cloak is pretty big

How are the adventure supplements for the WEG RPG? Are any of them any good?

>Doctor Pa Vel, I'm Imperial Guard

Generally pretty good. Some get a bit railroad-y

My favorite list archetype is current YT-1300 and a regen ship. My most used is Rey and PS9 Poe, but would Norra or Miranda be a better choice?

>currently

Which trove should I get my books from, Mediafire or Mega (from Da Archive)? A few of the ones on Mediafire have some scratchy scan line issues on black pages, while I've not seen any problems with the Mega versions, but I'm still curious.

*Coruscant guard (Technically they're just super police stormtroopers, not actual royal guards)

Most are simply written so its easy to add/subtract/modify without fucking things up.

So VI and a 1 point bid, or Adaptability, 2 point bid, and have a uniform PS across the board?

Personal choice is 2 point bid and uniform ps incase of you wanting to switch who shoots first or moves first. PLus a 2 point bid lets you set up the first rock which sets to tone of the game

New to SWRPG, I was wondering if there was a supplement for bounty hunters. If it's in the mega I can't seem to find it.

Coming out in a little while.

The Bounty Hunter book, named 'No Disintegrations', is due for release in the next month or so.

General Kenobi, I'm ARC
