You've avoided all the mary-sue tendencies that plagued the draft I commented on, you've given the character a clear reason to *want* to go on the adventure, and added some much-needed flaws.
I guess the only glaring comment is: How does the Mesmerist piece fit into her backstory? The Vox is a crazy flavorful archetype, but it doesn't look you're doing much to develop it.
Plus, on a more selfish note, another character from the LotLK adds some fun connections for Corwin.

The fluff I'm using for Vox is that she sings the songs her mother taught her. They're celestial, and thus magical, and even though she doesn't speak it, (Scion of Humanity), it's still able to produce disorienting and debilitating effects.

Just because you can't tap that sweet Imperial booty doesn't mean you're suffering, it just means you can hook up with Shalelu or a PC or Kelda Oxgutter or a dozen other cuties in the campaign.
Seriously dude, a character like Shizuka or Onryou is 5x better as a romantic interest than Ameiko.
Honestly sounds pretty sue-ish. Like cliche anime kinda sue-ish. And a bit of an ass-pull to boot. I detest "ordained by fate" sort of stuff.

Also it really depends if he actually puts that in his back story. At the moment it's a really huge stretch. He was asking in the last thread for advice on ideas for who should be pulling the strings.

Fair enough, I guess it seems like that's more Bardic than Vox-ish. Although, my idea of a Vox is based heavily around The Sound of My Voice, so perception is definitely skewed.
He won't, and while I can't confirm that with anything objective I can guarantee the DM will come down from on high to smite any non-consensual NTR.
Plus DHB keeps saying he doesn't want to NTR. Hell that's the reason he created a PC devoted to one character rather than choose one later.
He'll probably just up his relationship with everyone else and not do romantic things with them.

This, entering a Romantic relationship is a completely different roll and not something you "accidentally" enter just by being super duper close.

The real problem is that bard just didn't work out. Even if I didn't go for the Rubato it was still eating standards just to not be a commoner.
Knight Disciple || Bard didn't work, Sacred Servant || Rubato didn't work, Bushi || Bard didn't work, Knight Disciple || Vox didn't work, but I'm actually pretty satisfied with Bushi || Vox. I'm going to ask the GM for some refluffing to make it stand out.

I guess? From the basic numbers I ran while trying to put together an optimization gradient for the thread earlier today, it looked like the Sacred Servant || Rubato was near the top of both the damage and defenses.
Anyway, on the Mesmerist front, I assume you're mostly using for the Tricks and Painful stare. If that's what you want, you should check out the Vexing Daredevil. It's a martial-focused Mesmerist archetype.

Tell me /pfg/, is there any way to get sneak attacks just by having concealment against an opponent? Or to feint without completely fucking my action economy? Pondering a gestalt with Dusk Knight paladin on one side and something with SA on the other. Would be nice to reliably add SA somehow since the knight replaces smite damage with concealment for the duration of the smite.

The tank took three rounds, but she still soloed it taking minimal damage.

I'm not even interested in the romance per se, I'm just curious about how shit could develop. It just kinda started as a desire for a solid long term connection/stake in the plot.
Honestly? It's more a factor of "what characters fit a good party theme" than "what characters are actually well-written enough to get in."
And for that, I'd give NToRacle a high chance of getting in - not very high, due to the edginess of the optimization, but his backstory's tight and connection to the lore works in pleasing ways.

I wasn't feeling that way. From a tier standpoint perhaps, and maybe I just suck at optimization, but it didn't feel very powerful. I'll check out Vexing Daredevil, thanks.

Plus he has cool themes good NPCs to draw from. The only people he really doesn't work with is other people trying to romance Ameiko.
And I think the optimization is fine since he toned it down for the third time. Throw that optimization through the floor! If we're all shit none of us are.

...that is not the point of Gandalf at all. He wasn't anything resembling a D&D spellcaster, he was an angel pretending to be mortal. He also lightning bolted the shit out of goblins attacking him in The Hobbit.

Like all PsyArms, they all end up with one fate once they reach epic level, because I have yet to see anyone play a PsyArm differently.

The idea was to just be a cool devoted ninja-like servant girl with obsessive tendencies, and then building from that there's the chance that her love is dangerous not because there's a chance of her going psycho and killing everyone, but because of a 'too much of a good thing' deal.
I guess the problem is that most of her edge is in her backstory and that's what the character summary focuses on, I could move that to a pastebin and talk more about her current self in the post.

As the other half of that paired app, in my defense, there's only so non-edgy you can make a Vitalist (Life Leech, Sadist)|Malefex gestalt character, but maybe that's a fair point; the idea for my character is that he's hit bottom, and while he's poised to just keep going down, he could just as easily be brought back up to the light (and sobriety).

Not... Not exactly? The assumption would be that he was working for them for many, many years learning the trade under multiple aliases, with his latest one sticking around for almost a decade by the time of the game itself. It's interesting, but it'd require some hefty tweaking to work in.
It was actually vaguely implied that he was a native to the region surrounding Sandpoint. One potential reason for the "how" that got tossed around was that the sword left behind by that random group of adventurers that first saved him is what actually "woke him up". On account of it being an intelligent "Black Blade". Of course, could say the sword was from Minkai, but selling an Estoc as being from an Asian country might be hard.
I now realize that there's very real possibility that the Kaijitsu family might end up paranoid over employees "being that damn fox, again", on account of how I implied he got discovered a few times.

I'm garbage! I finished my first draft a few days ago, but it immediately got overshadowed by more/better quality apps, on top of the NTR thing. I'm going through the character personality and motivations right now as my second stage draft.
