Fucking help guys, I started mining monero on my old laptop, I kept it up n' running for like 6 hours. It's been half a day now and my account balance on mymonero is still 0 xmr.
Did I set it up incorrectly? How much time does it take for it to transfer to your account? Will it not show up at all if I don't mine a significant amount? Thanks in advance.
It was xmrpool.net, by the way.

You should probably get more shitty devices to mine. I put about $600 into shitty goodwill computers and I'm pulling 3.1 monero a month now. As for your xmrpool issues, I have no idea. I use XMRig
>3.1 a month @ 1500 h/s
fibbing is a sin, mommy would be upset
No I mean shouldn't it show something like 0.00000000001 xmr? Or does it not pay at all unless you reach, say, 0.1 xmr? I just want to learn if I set things correctly. Then I'm going to move on to better hardware.
whats your hashrate? Try looking up your public address on xmrpool if they have such a function. Pools have a minimum payout generally. (0.3xmr on nanopool)
>minimum payout
Well that answers my question. I just wanted to learn if I need to confirm something before I get my payout, turns out I need to mine more with better hardware. Thanks for your answers.
Are you just posting this everyday now?
Is this new pasta?
speaking of which, use nanopool+claymore.
homeboy I'm doing 5200h/s on avg at this point I got these rigs at $75 a pop
What?
What kind of s rig?
I got called a fucking normie yesterday with no good answers, decided to give it one more shot. Now that I got my question answered, I won't post this thread anymore.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I've got a beefy main rig that really carries the team but this isn't something impossible.
LARP
what the heck does a nigga need to take a fucking photo of his shit now?
Here's a screenshot from my eth mining I started today on an rx480. I don't get paid till I mine 0.05eth. Need to mod the bios tommorow too since I'm only getting 21.3MH/s.
I don't believe you tbqh. Even the best monero gpu on the market gets less than 2KH/s
Unless you have 400 computers (power consumption?) I think you're full of shit
I tried mining and I tried cloud mining extensively.
If you want some real advice, Just buy the coins you want when they're down. Its the most cost effective, least amount of bs and you have the coins to move with the market.
I know that's not the answer you want, but people only want to mine coins that have worth NOW. They never mine cheap coins expecting future value so you're always behind the market.
IMO, XMR is due for a huge pump very soon, I would just buy what you can
dude I've got four RX480s + my additional computers which pull about 500 h/s + XFX7700's I picked up off a wholesale lot out of Houston. This is not something that takes incredible amounts of money literally save two paychecks and you will fucking do this with ease.
wrong, with my cheap china tier hydro power in WA state I make my hardware money back gauranteed in 4 months, otherwise if the coin raises, 2-3 months.

Isn’t the nano pool payout .3?
Very surprised you found those at goodwill, I will be keeping an eye out myself for anything nearby myself
Myself I've got 2x570s & a vega64 and only get 3.5KH so I'm trying to score some cheap mining hardware
I found the computers at Goodwill, I just needed something to have the graphics cards sit in. The graphics cards were picked up at a wholesale lot that gets their shit from companies that go bankrupt or unclaimed shipments. Literally just look up wholesale auctions. I got 25 of those XFX7700 Ghosts for literally $60. You just have to be quick and be there.
Those CPUs probably have 1 pciex16.
that's minimum payout for xmr, they got different payouts you can do. eth ranges from 0.05 to 20.
They're Dell with 2 ports. Like literally just go out and do this. It is worth your time and money if you have cheap power or relatives who are willing to house the computers. I'm thankful for both.
doesn't matter if it has only one pcie x16. If it has 4+ pcie slots you're golden. x1, x4, x8, x16 all mine at same rate. Gaming is a different story.
Yeah but you still need to buy PSUs.
You need to wait for a block to be found, which can take several days. Then your profit will be calculated according your shares. Be patience, though I am close to give up mining monero, the 0.3 threshold is too high for where difficulty can increase in few months.
Can I mine with a Nvidia 1070?
Does that make sense? How long would it take to mine 1 monero?
Prolly a couple months.
Xmrpool pplns server hasn't found a block in five days.
