Wounds are fine as they are, only one who needs a fix in that department is the Warboss: More wounds and MAYBE Eternal Warrior (so that it can survive engagements with monstruos creatures).
What orks need is more bite in the form of power choppas and a fix to leadership.

Orks have their problems, but power creep is just going to make things worse. They need points reductions; for some units 1 point, for other units a full 30-40% cut (I'm looking at you Nobz).

Special melee weapons would also help. Right now it's Klaws or bust.

Word Bearers have a pretty cool Warlord table, especially if you use a Palanquin Sorcerer as your Warlord. 5 of the 6 results are actually quite useful. Their detachment is the easiest to adapt to from Traitor's Hate also, as they're the 2nd-least restrictive Legion.

Special Characters haven't been 'Special' for a while. Special Characters are essentially mini-formations. They change the way your army can be played. Back in 5th, I used Straken and various other units like Ogryn, Penal Legions, Power Weapon Guard blobs and things like that to create an aggressive melee Guard force. It worked well be cause of Straken's Furious Charge and Counter-Attack buff.

Unless your special character is called Ghazghkull.

Fateweaver is pretty special.

8 Acolytes with Storm Bolters
Crusader (Warlord)
2 Acolytes with Plasma guns and Carapace armour, Specialists, Preferred Enemy and Master-Crafted
Acolyte with Meltagun and Combi-flamer Specialist, undecided

Plan was to have the Special Weapons hide in the Chimera and shoot down specialists and light vehicles, although maybe another plasma would be better than a melta?
Crusader does something similar, although he might run off and try to kill a Specialist or something.

So far I tried it once and butchered a 30 Ork + Many PK list with bolter fire, only 3 casualties, but that doesn't exactly mean much.
What should I give to the last specialist?

Oh yeah, some upgrades like 'eavy armour should definitely be cut. It's overcosted on regular boyz too.

I'm of the opinion that a lot of the problems in the game could be fixed if everything was just properly costed. Still, there'd always be things that are more optimal against other setups, but that's what happens when you have a game with hundreds of different units.

Warbike boss is already fine as it stands and boosting it to T7 would be a bit too much.

He still wouldn't be able to handle a Dreadnought or a smashing MC, who will kill him before his Klaw gets to do anything BECAUSE NO FUCKING INVULNERABLE.
T6 would be nice too but it would make Biker Warbosses a bit too strong.
I know that baseline EW is a lot but they need to be able to eat S10 and not give a fuck while now they just get chomped by any thunderwolf seargent with a fist.

Not to bring up skub, but anyone ever think that a part of the reason why girls don't play 40k is that people always try and get them to play SoB and that is an expensive army, with no support, and is hard to collect. Probably should tell them to play space Marines like everyone else.
