I mean don't get me wrong, living in the cheery bright future where there is only peace is great and all, but wouldn't a bit of utterly insane nonsensical war that would embroil the whole galaxy in turmoil be more interesting?

Am I the only guy here who doesn't love F.A.T.A.L.? I mean seriously it's a really good system but it's not THAT good guys.

I was playing this albino elf/drow hybrid, and I was using a homebrew class - THAT I BALANCED FOR THE DUNGEON MASTER - that lets me use katanas, whcich are like what kirito uses in my favorite anime, Sword Art Online.

Anyway, I was roleplaying with one of the girls in the grou (she was REALLY into me), and we were gettin pretty sexy. Then one of the people at the table asks me to STOP. STOP ROLEPLAYING.

I tried to be reasonable with them, I only raised my voice a LITTLE! But then the game master said the same thing! After trying to reason with the lot of them - they're all neandurthalls so of course THAT wasn't gonna happen - I grabbed my fedora, grabbed my character sheet, did a 360 and walked away.

What I'm asking is, does anyone know hwo to search for groups on roll20?

Veeky Forums's never been better since they kicked everything out but quests. Quests are the only real traditional game out there. Everything else requires an online component that makes it /v/.

They'd also be in space.
All the water would fall in a single ocean on each face, with the air forming a bubble over that.

Which would mean that six completely different biomes exist, each isolated from each other. If humans somehow evolved there, it would probahly be on a single face, and everything else would evolve independantly, and probably be wildly different.

Sounds like a good setting to me.

I'm the GM of our local group and today I introduced my fetishes subtly into the game.

It was very popular and they asked me to do it again.

Your cube would have to be angled a bit so that all faces have some sunlight. It's also very much not a stable form, it'd crumble into a sphere over time. A long time, sure, but not long enough for life to evolve.
Though it'd be hilarious if in said setting the end of the world was well, just that, because the god who made the planet sucked at astronomy.

Also, gravity would be lighter towards the edges of a cuboidal earth, the nice thing about spherical planets is that every part of it is an equal amount away from the core. Cubes edges would be further away from the center of gravity of the planet.
You'd also fall at an angle if you were too far away from the core.
It'd be neat

Plants would grow differently, which would lead to animals evolving differently, and sentient life developing in a different way.

I just started a game of FATAL for my little brother and his friends. It's been fun taking them through their first TTRPG adventure. I know FATAL is a bit overly 'kid-friendly' but it has all the right ingredients for a wholesome sword and sorcery romp if you have the right players, And so far my brother and his friends have been pretty damn engaged and eager.

Christ, it's been days since I saw an MTG thread. The game's so cheap and the community it god tier, CAN WE JUST DISCUSS IT ALREADY?

d20 modern is probably the best system around. It takes the best parts from the stellar 3.5 and adds a really clever spin to it. I especially like the very balanced item acquisition/wealth system and how different weapons are so distinctive.

I sure do love me some non-humans.

Anyone have opinions on GW's open source designs for 40k? The sculpts are comparable to their in-house stuff but the quality really depends on the 3d printer.

Completely random character generation is actually a unique and very interesting mechanic. I wouldn't recommend it all the time but rolling for sex, race, age, height, and weight with all of those things affecting your abilities is actually an interesting concept. If you tend to like being a squishy archer but end up rolling a goddamn troll you can either try a new playstyle or work with your GM to make trolls decent or even good archers, perhaps using gigantic bows far too large for a human.
