And that's about it

I should still have my reference folder on my laptop, gimme 5 minutes OP.

I had a viking-inspired people that worshipped a powerful fire serpent and carried out raids. Here's a ref image.

Same setting. This was a sacred place for the viking people, with a legend attached to it. They were the only one legacy of a diverse people, with the rest (and their protector spirits) being destroyed in an ancient war. These rocks were supposedly carved out by the spirits themselves in commemoration.

Now some witcher inspo. Tried my hand at a campaign some years ago, these don't have any stories attached to them, just general inspiration I used to get inspired for stories.

Seize the Day.

It was a old pixil art calandra from early 90's or something like that.

Though the where I found the art originally was on Tumblr of all places

This one is really nice. I suppose that the bridge is separating a royal palace of sorts from the city. I'd say it would be a slightly-despotic and affluent prince, trade maybe. As in, greek myth gods.

Cozy fantasy is best fantasy.

That's most of my cozy stuff. I could post more but I'd be reaching.

Unless I've got some stuff in my character folder, which I might.

She looks pissed that you hurt her dragon user.

I wouldn't ask her for any cure potions for a while. You might end up puking from both ends for a day or three.

Yeah, it's not as cozy as it looked from the thumbnail.

...

Okay, NOW I think I'm out of cozy stuff. Unless I just go for "any portrait of a smiling character".

I have a few more!

Not sure if this is fantasy or not.

Noooo, it's too not-cozy! You gave me coziness whiplash. You gotta ease the thread into this kind of not-coziness.

Why is this pleasant to me? I've never lived in a place like that but it still feels cozy

You don't have to have lived in a place to feel coziness. Coziness is more universal than that. I've never lived a simple life working as a miller in a small pastoral town, occasionally putting up the adventurers that pass through. I don't eagerly listen to the stories of their latest adventures with the rest of my milling family and even a few neighbors, crowded into our little kitchen, eating a dinner that's slightly overcooked because I was too distracted by how they managed to escape the trolls' cave to watch it. Neither have you. But it sounds pretty cozy, doesn't it?

looks almost like it was copied from "Among the Sierra Nevada, California" by Albert Bierstadt, 1868.

Here are some more paintings of his.
Rocky Mountain Landscape, 1870.

Storm in the Mountains.

A Storm In The Rocky Mountains, Mt. Rosalie. 1866.

California Spring. 1875.

I just got some more pictures off Pinterest.

While I'm posting these, does anyone have pictures of fantasy snowy towns? Something like a Yukon trading village or a town made of snow would be perfect, but anything winter-y or tundra-y will work.

I searched "windmill", "watermill", and "mill", among others, so you may notice a trend.
