I see this image on Veeky Forums a lot but have never seen a source. Any of you know it?

>Hmm... I think I know the problem
>You seem to have A large growth of flesh around your skeleton
Sure do!
Pic related.
That looks unnecessarily complicated.
Before anyone asks, the first google is full image search, googleS is thumbnail search.
I already spent two hours going through reverse image search through TinEye, Google, and a few others.
I don't have a GoogleS plugin. Mind helping out?
Do you see that little triangle right next to the post number
It's not just for decoration
Not OP, but did any of you try image searching? It never finds the source for cropped images.
OP: Veeky Forums is not /r/, this is only barely Veeky Forums related.
Thank you for pointing out the feature, but I already did Google reverse image search.
I am aware that it's barely Veeky Forums related but I was wondering if someone knew the source. It's a cropped image so, yeah, it's a bitch to find the original.
>Not OP, but did any of you try image searching? It never finds the source for cropped images.
The first thing I found was a Pinterest board of "titillating renaissance artwork" that had the name and artist of the painting in OP's picture.
Would you mind sending that my way or are you just roleplaying?
It's 4chanX.
I know you're lying because I've used Google, Tineye, Yandex, and several other reverse image lookup engines and none of them turn up a Pinterest with an artist and painting name. Thanks for roleplaying, user!
>Pinterest
>having useful information or crediting the artist
>ever
I got nothing but "226 funny meme image macros!!!" results, though that might be google deciding I'm a retard only interested in memes because my image requests keep coming from Veeky Forums.
Telling people to google something was useful before they started putting you into your own little bubble based on what they thought you wanted, and excluding results from outside (their computerized guess) of your interests.
I searched through all 46 pages of results in Google reverse image lookup. Nothing but the fucking meme.
>Telling people to google something was useful
Before the search engine was crippled because some people complained about black people and large apes getting mixed up by it.
And it still works splendidly on lots of things. 80% of the people who complain about google not working haven't even tried. 20% of the people who complain about google not working have tried but are mostly met with undeserved but understandable disbelief.
This is actually proving damn hard to source.
Right? I was really surprised myself. The closest I could find was a link where the image was somehow sourced to a bunch of Russian realist paintings on Pintrest - although the image itself wasn't on the webpage.
>Before the search engine was crippled because some people complained about black people and large apes getting mixed up by it.
>implying that's not a bug
>implying google wasn't sticking people in bubbles for many, many years before that
made me giggle
>>implying google wasn't sticking people in bubbles for many, many years before that
No, I am not implying that.
But that doesn't cripple your search. You could still easily find most shit, even cropped images. Google got really good before it suddenly got really bad.
>look it up
>tells me 9gag
>mfw
>tfw I know from where it is from but don't remember the name
Can you tell me where it's from, user?
an artist
fuck me, for the longest time I thought it was cropped from Michelangelo's last judgement, but only now I'm noticing it's not, unless I've become blind or something.
anyway, research by the theme of judgement day/day of ascension/resurrection of the dead
it may not be a source, but at least it's a likely direction
pic only thematically related
Thanks for the suggestion, user.
>dude on the left doesn't give a fuck
"I ain't scared of no skeletons, I got Jesus' home phone number, he comin' to pick me up."
>tfw when the skeleton got out from the same hole as you and he too is wondering why he isn't ripped
