OP here, forgot to add the question: What's your favorite tribe? Favorite commander for that tribe? Least favorite tribe?
Jason Sanchez
Love humans, never really knew why, just do. Favorite commander pic related. Least favorite tribe would be dragons.
Perfect segway
You gotta help me tg, all my friends play inf combos in all their decks. As i am not in the slightest of ways interested in playing them myself i need some sort of way to protect myself whilst playing my Sigarda deck but don't know how.
The wonderful thing about slivers, is that slivers are wonderful things
Eli Rogers
What kind of infinite combos are there? You can run effects that keep you from having to sac stuff, while also running aetherswon canonist if they're not artifact based. You're G/W so Gaddog Teeg also does wonders, unless your meta is sub 4-drops.
Benjamin Green
>Tribal Edition Alright, relates question then. I had an idea for a Leovold Elf tribal. Sure, it's not the optimal build for him, but I feel like BUG Elves could be interesting.
Is it an idea worth a fuck?
Andrew Perry
...
Samuel Murphy
Nath seems like a pretty sweet Commander, anyone have experience with him?
First thing that comes to mind is Panharmonicon Elves
Jaxson Bell
Should I go Black-White zombie token, or Black-Green zombie token? Who should be my general?
Camden King
OP here, the reason I chose Nath as the main image was that he's rad as fuck. Panharmonicon Elves is definitely a spicy brew. Here's my Elfball list if you're looking for some inspiration
I need to update the list to include Panharmonicon.
Mason Rogers
Three main kinds 1. Oloro combos, Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood and there might be a Felidar too. 2. Brago, can't explain them all, inf mana, tokens, life, turns, play Stonehorn Dignitary so i can never attack, detain all of my permanents. The list goes on and on. 3. Planeswalkers, Rings of Brighthearth and doubling season with Jace, the Mindsculpter, Ajani Vengeant etc. Might not be inf, but still game winning combos
Anthony Wilson
nigga, youre playing white. you have the best hatebears: thalia, new thalia, ethersworn canonist, gaddock tee, hushwing griff, spirit of the labyrinth, etc. plus they are all tutorable with green cards like chord of calling, eldritch evolution, birthing pod, etc.
I'd trim down on some of your creatures, particularly: Master of Cruelties Fog Bank Guard Gomazoa Malfegor
Justin Anderson
>NuSigarda My person of color.
Noah Bell
I kind of like Malfegor, be will MD up being a field nuke
Aaron Lopez
Definitely elementals. A lot of them are in my favorite colors (red and green) and they have a lot of synergy with each other. Now if I had bags of money, I would probably build an Animar or Horde of Notions deck but until I actually have a real job that will never happen.
Christian Torres
True, but have no idea what to remove from current decklist
Joshua Brooks
Here's my Nekusar list that I'm brewin. Maybeboard is cards I already own. Any suggestions or stuff that I should put in/take out? I need your help /edh/.
Slivers are so much fun to play. I should remake my sliver edh. I had one a long time ago
Levi Murphy
Because I just watched Rouge One last night, I need a Star Wars-themed edh deck. Any suggestions guys?
Jackson Sanchez
>tappedout.net/mtg-decks/18-12-16-sigarda-humans/ Cut fiendslayer paladin, mayor of avrabuck, scorned villager, vivid meadow, and experiment one. Then jam Thalia, New Thalia, Old Sigarda, Gaddog Teeg, and Aethersworn Canonist.
Vivid lands aren't really that spectacular in two color decks, and you can make due with 36 lands. Experiment one doesn't appear to get pumped very much, and can be replaced with better humans--namely Thalia(s). The rest just don't do much to be worth it, and if you're trying to stop combos my suggested hatebears can get you there.
Are there any interesting mono black commanders? And is there a way to build leovold without everyone hating me? Or would leovold politics be possible like "you get to keep your hand if you leave me alone".
Bumping this, I want to get some opinions before I get too far into brewing it.
Jason Diaz
You're welcome m8, EDH deck construction is one thing but refining and tuning a list is another. I'm happy to help out if anyone else wants suggestions.
Tyler Flores
Second that
William Hall
Could you tell me the commander? Looking for something new to build.
Well, that sucks.
Josiah King
I think it could be decent, there's some great GB Elves, and some great GW elves. Blue gives you access to card draw, and Leovold can keep your opponent's in check while you go balls out.
I say go for it user.
Lucas Mitchell
Have a friend who plays Sheoldred, she seems nice.
Brody Morales
Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief is pretty well liked.
Nicholas Murphy
>went to my flgs >snagged a FTV Ink Eyes, Mirko Vosk, Undead Alchemist, and a Zealous Conscripts >some nice commander players told me they do events on sundays, and there is a facebook group to organize games >tonight I get to test out my decks with some beer and buds Today went better than expected. Is it worth building Ink-Eyes? Also holy shit I never noticed Ink-Eyes giant honking mouse titties. I do not suggest looking at google images with safe search off.
Thomas Morgan
>Is it worth building Ink-Eyes? You can't ninjutsu from the command zone, so no.
Christopher Anderson
But that's narrow thinking. It has built in regenerate and reanimates your opponent's creatures. Yes, the ninjutsu part is nice, and I don`t know how often I get get it to deal combat damage in black, but it could be neat with various board wipes.
That being said, I`m pretty sure it`s going in my BUG clone and reanimator combo deck.
Jackson Perry
Gonti is fun too.
Christian Jones
obligatory additions are eternal witness, chord of calling, recruiter of the guard, tireless tracker, mirrari's wake, and duskwatch recruiter
not a human but has nice human synergy is angelic overseer
because you are a tribal aggro deck you probably want to run cards that make your humans indestructible, such as dauntless escort, selfless spirit and avacyn
things I would cut:
gather the townsfolk: most of the time its just two tokens. terrible
scorned villager: you are better off running mana ramp like cultivate, kodama's reach, explosive vegetation, etc than having a mediocre mana dork
consul's lieutenant: attacking trigger is not worth it
experiment one: it takes forever to be a threat. dead draw late in the game
fiendslayer paladin: too small
heron's grace champion: gaining life is not that good unless your deck works around it
surrak: making your small creatures have haste doesn't seem too threatening
champion of the parish: same with experiment one. it takes forever to grow into a relevant threat
this is all my opinion anyways. hope it helps
David Long
What's the worst alter you've ever seen /edh/? My vote is for this one. Just fucking look at it. If a new player saw that shit, there is no way they'd believe you when you explained what it did.
Ryder Kelly
oh and if you want some spicy tech add Gallows at Willow Hill
Jack Myers
...
Christian Wood
Go Abzan, Reyhan and Ravos.
Tyler Evans
That's entry level user. We've all seen those before, most people are just mad that expensive cards are ruined with trendy bullshit.
Just look at this thing. It was protected so that I had to print screen and crop the image in paint from his photobucket. I couldn't even save it like a normal jpeg. Why would someone do this to a card?
Eli Watson
Jesus fucking christ, some people's children man. At first, nothing seems wrong, just some stupid alter someone made online, and then you check that slight errata at the bottom of the card.
Jackson Green
GOBLINS. ALWAYS BET ON GOBLINS.
Matthew Hughes
Alright ya'll, I need some help. I've decided I want to build a new deck, and these are the legends I currently own, and can make a necent deck with what I have laying around + $50 to spend.
The problem is I have no clue which one to pick. I'dpost a pic, but for some reason it won't let me upload one.
Who would you pick, knowing you can easily make a 70- 75% effective deck?
Ian Price
Thanks for the list, will take a closer look on what to change later tonight. Damn that recruiter of the guard is expensive.
Andrew Martin
Didn't even see the nipples when I posted this.
Thomas White
What are some green/red cards that inherently benefit more from being copied?
All that I'm seeing are cards with additional costs, and X-costing cards (which in my opinion don't actually benefit as much as people think they do--it's just copying a good spell after all is said and done, just happens to be a spell that you can make "gooder" depending on how much mana you have)
Justin Brooks
I would say Savra or Isperia
Charles Ramirez
I bet that was that one chandra alter some guy around here posts every day. That one was pretty fucking terrible.
Here is another one I had to crop from someone's photobucket. Eventually, you realize, some mother fucker signed rebbeca guay's artwork, and made it objectively shittier. Then, you google what the original card looks like, and realize 10 million people made alters of this one card for pauper reasons.
H-he made another one?
Ryder Thomas
Any particular reasons? Other than half of the commanders on in my list are sort of meme- y?
Isaac Taylor
Would you let me run my custom commander?
Sebastian Myers
The only thing i can think to make her work as a commander is a voltron with control elements. Cards like bottomless pit and liliana vess. Field wipes like crux of fate and deadly tempest. There's the traditional black mana ramp and staples, such as necropotence. Give her some auras and equips and she should work as a decent commander.
Aiden Thompson
...
Connor Robinson
Didn´t he have like a DA account with loads of that stuff
Also I don´t think that´s Guays signature so your caption is wrong
William Lopez
The point was, someone took a good card with nice artwork, threw some garbage on top, and signed it, AND is selling it for a profit, despite it being a reasonable looking card designed by one of magic's best artists. But that's more 'tism than anything.
Anyways, >Didn´t he have like a DA account with loads of that stuff Jesus really? I must have missed that thread.
Aiden Morris
Zurgo, yisan, or daretti. Zurgo voltron and field wipes Yisan toolbox edh Daretti artifact reanimationl with MLD or stax
Jayden Morgan
I personally hate these CGI crapshoot alters. They're just so... uninspired.
>flying >has no wings >no indication of flying magic It's a shit alter.
David Murphy
heres my rune scarred demon alter, stylistically damaged to give off a "scarred" feel. i got it by ordering a "played" condition card on mcm.
Eli Carter
Is Kaalia able to summon Angels, Demons and Dragons because they all want to take turns fucking her?
Brody Richardson
This is a work safe board, no gore pls
Jackson Ramirez
You have no idea.
Kaalia always had a man face, and that "artist" happened to include it for some reason. That must be her secret.
William Collins
Fungus, and of course the primo OG mushroom man himself has to lead them
Logan Hall
>scarred >not sacred Fuck, I always thought it was Rune Sacred Demon. I feel like an idiot...
Levi Reyes
Kek the faggot reduced its mana cost
Kayden Hughes
And added "draw a card"
Ryder Sanchez
>The Vast >Barely D cups It's shit
Nicholas Price
no fuck you this is brilliant
Kayden Carter
I see what you did there
Kayden Carter
>Oh look, that guy who copies a creature should be kirby >let's just extend the boarders to give it a good background, but we won't use anything to prevent extra spillage on the textbox >and, instead of painting the whole thing, let's just slap kirby in the middle, no one would notice
Jeremiah Hernandez
Dylsexic
Zachary Nelson
Reminds me of the cheesecake banner ads for those sketchy flash games
Daniel Lee
Is Bruna voltron any good? Seems like it could be fun to mill a bunch of Auras, give her haste, and one-shot a person.
Colton King
>OP here, the reason I chose Nath as the main image was that he's rad as fuck. Panharmonicon Elves is definitely a spicy brew. Here's my Elfball list if you're looking for some inspiration >tappedout.net/mtg-decks/31-10-16-go-elf-yourself/ >I need to update the list to include Panharmonicon.
Awesome dude, glad to hear it! Deck looks sweet btw, didn't even think of Akroma's Memorial until I read over your decklist. Definitely gonna snag that for mine! Thanks for the list.

>Dyslexic I only suffer from one kind of erotic learning disability, and that aint it friend.
shes neat against new people you haven't played with before. Otherwise, people are quick to catch on.
Andrew Wilson
I would like to make a Modern mid-range humans deck with her So far the only options for humans decks are mostly speedy aggro, though, meaning 5-mana is a bit of a stretch. any ideas for mid-range human Modern??
Charles Long
You weren't kidding, holy fucking shit. I saw this image and was like "Why the fuck is there naked anime girl wolverine on that island?" and the answer was, because of course there is, that's what the artist intended to draw.
Thomas Smith
I'm surprised I haven't seen more decks with Mirran Crusaders
Jose Myers
Fantastic in New Odric, especially combined with pic related.
William White
He's used in Legacy Death + Taxes a lot as he fits really well in that meta, but don't see him much in Modern because of bolt and path. He is actually very potent maindeck in Modern I have seen though, at the very least he is a great sideboard option i
John Wood
Best humans in Modern:
Noble Hierarch Thalia, Guardian of Thraben Thatlia's Lieutenant Thalia, Heretic Cathar Knight of the Reliquary Mirran Crusader Paladin en-Vec Auriok Champion Knight of the White Orchid ........(add more)
Jaxson Allen
>New Odric Speaking of New Odric, I just cracked one, any other spicy tech I should be aware of?
Christopher Gomez
its funny how he gave her freckles maybe a few too many when u look close it almost looks like dirt
Hudson Brooks
>no T I'll give you credit because a "student" is presumably young, but just this once, user.
Kayden Morgan
There are way too many decks I want to make.
While making an Atraxa infect it has got me wanting to make an Atraxa +1/+1 counters deck, and now I'm thinking about that Nath of the Gilt-Leaf B/G Elf deck, but also maybe a New Odric kind of Human deck too. I love the idea of tribals and trying to stay within a box like that.
Chase Watson
neat
Evan Green
Just grabbed the prebuilt deck for this. Anyone have experience? How did you do?
How does this look? I made a few changes to it recently to be a bit more control-comboy and less midrangey. At this point, I'm almost considering a High Tide.
Ayden Wright
>Favorite Tribe: Elves >Favorite Commander for Elves: Been trying out Freyalise hut she's been less than stellar. Have tried Ezuri in the past but that deck is just a shitty combo deck. >Least Favorite Tribe: Slivers are pretty dumb.
Bentley Cook
Get out flying as fast as possible. Basilisk collar for deathtouch and lifelink, silence to protect the gang pre combat. Every game I win with him is from sudden flyers and untouchable life totals.
