I think the paint job doesn't do it justice, if it was painted with a very tight color pallete like a Blanche painting and was made to look properly like an incoherent mass it would probably look very cool, but like this it just feels silly

I don't hate Celestine's new design, in fact I quite like it, but I have to wonder about her streamlined look. 40k humanity should not have streamlined anything. I mean, the birds and the flowers are aces, but I expected her to be positivly encrusted with bling. Intricate scrollwork on the armor, trailing sigila sancta beyond the ones on her base, cherub servitors carrying a huge, flowing cloak behind her, a *really* elaborate iron halo, anything of that sort.
