Considering the GW fanbase, shaking things up seems like the worst thing you could possibly do.

GW's also under different management now than it was when they pulled that Endtimes bullshit to nuke the WFB setting. Rountree seems more interested in giving fans what they want, rather than telling them what to buy like Kirby did.

40k is a sandbox and a setting first, not a story.
The story thing should be covered by the HH and everything leading up to the status quo.
