Young survivor is for cuddles and headpats. No rolls on the intimacy table.

+10 to intimacy rolls with young survivors confirmed.

There's some guy called Jedit in there. He's spent years referring to KDM as "Kingdom Rape", claiming even goreans think the game is offensive to women (because of the Scribe) and celebrating when any and all kickstarter boardgames surpassed the original KDM's funding.

I imagine he is pretty damn livid about this kickstarter.

Actual people on kickstarter are complaining that the Red Witches don't fit "their vision" for what fits in the setting.

Including those who claim to own and play the game.

What is it with all these shitty kickstarter comments and stuff? People need to calm the fuck down, especially because the Red Witches are fucking awesome.

Posting WIP Lioness because I said I would last thread. Apologies for the photo quality - I don't have a proper lightbox setup.

Then those people should play more cause all that shit was in the game already.

>I-I punched a lion and don't think this fits

I bet they have barely played or are outright lying, that's how sjw's operate.

>oh I LOVE this thing too but don't you think that....

>mfw red witches are the coolest thing so far next to big black kngiht.

Posting a couple of commissions I had done on some models.

Friend and I just beat the butcher for the first time. Holy shit that was way more intense than lions. We got 2 early wounds in and hit with the cat arrow which was great, but he then proceeded to roll high on every single hit and us low on all of ours, practically killing us all. Finally pulled through in the last few rounds. Managed to get a cleaver from him as a weapon which is pretty sweet.

At this point, should we even bother with the antelope? One of our guys has the cat katars, and I was hoping to farm lions for a full armor set for him, as splitting our focus doesn't seem like a good idea. But we haven't even attempted the antelope yet so maybe there's some shit we can pick up from it that's worth grabbing at least once.

5/5

This I find odd, The White Speaker Cult is something that's referred to quite a bit within the game, and it makes sense for them to have enforcers (now we know those are Red Witches).
The Red Witches as such fit just fine, and what lore surrounds them is new and interesting.
Now I will admit, I'm excited by the prospect of black latex clad gimpsuited Red Cloak proxies for the fight as well (queue "That's my Fetish.gif").

Having the survivors need material from other expansions to properly use the cloaks and potential interaction with the Pariah are all good things in my opinion.
So I'm glad I missed that shitstorm last night.

As a KS1 backer I feel this fits in just fine and dandy.
This looks like it'll be a really cool addition to the game.

The Antelope does have some neat gear I think. You can always check the location you get from it.

So i was talking to a mom friend of mine about KD and eventually got onto fade and showed her a picture. The conversation devolved and became pretty amusing, and slightly insightful:

>Hey you know what I really need to protect while im pregnant? My calves and hands, one hip, and my nipples
>And another fun fact about pregnancy? Constant discharge, a loin cloth is a bad choice
>Plus the waddle can cause thigh chaffing
>Lifting heavy objects causes contractions

>I like the preggo warrior idea, everything about her isnt practical

You generally don't want to fight the Antelope until you have some ranged weapons or weapons with Reach first.

I'm not planning to get the Gryphon, so I might just houserule that some other material from a similarly powerful creature is needed to use the cloaks. It's a cool idea but I don't want to drop dosh on the gryphon just for those capes.

Consider getting as much evasion as possible, as a general rule.

How spoiler-free are you playing? Do you know the name of the settlement location where you build antelope gear?

One thing that gets me about fade is the difference in her art and her model. In her art she looks to have just recently given birth, while in the model she is well-along in a pregnancy. Personally, based on her lore I think the art card is more fitting. It's strange because I can't really think of many other examples where an art card and the model didn't line up. Maybe Paul who doesn't have a spear?

Since this is a full expansion, Adam might include the relevant steps to get the material without the need for the Gryphon to be in the game.

Well we have one guy with a cat gut bow. Rest of us are melee though. We considered making a king's spear at one point, but ended up doing some other stuff and now don't currently have the materials needed, though I think all we need right now is just one lion claw, we have the great cat bone.

Only somewhat. We aren't looking ahead at settlement/timeline events, innovations, or that sort of thing. And in terms of locations/gear, I've looked a little at the locations to have a general idea of what you can make there, but haven't actually looked at the gear itself. So like I know the stone circle is the antelope stuff, but I don't actually know what any of that gear does. I don't really mind looking into it though, I'm considering doing it now anyway just to see what the possibilities are. Character builds seem like one of the most fun aspects of the game to me, so looking at things to build toward seems pretty beneficial even if it's ruins a LITTLE of the mystery.

Nothing specifies that you require the Gryphon expansion to make suits that resist the red cloaks.

The blackspit the latex suits the witches use are not the only solution, the concept art shows metal armor. In addition, other expansions have lore connections to the gryphon as well, even down to the spit in the case of the Black Knight expansion.

Latex fashion is something I love as well, including catsuits. I'm excited for this minor lore addition and am already implementing it into homebrew expansion.

That bitch needs tits, at least an A.

If you already know what you can make with antelope stuff, then you already know that you don't get instant access to it after killing your first antelope like with the lion.

Consider working your way towards getting shields.

Without saying where to get those, consider what the earliest shields were made from, and use logic and deduction to figure out how to get them.

But Fade is not a preggo, is a post-preggo.

Too swole, she's flexing her pecs.

Damn son, trump elected and now this. I bet that guy is one stubbed toe away from suicide.

She has the baby right there. Women's bellies don't immediately deflate like a balloon after they've had their baby, brah.

Even so, the art card and the model are very different. Fade's art is just a thicc chick.

Well yeah. Pregnancy bellies are disgusting, 2D artists know better.

The only thing I don't like about Fade is that the sheath on her back doesn't match the sword she's holding

...

t-shirt when?

I just wanted a thicc MILF. Her model is still awesome, but the belly just doesn't do it for me.

Young survivor is for sensation deprivation suit and Beast Lover fighting art.

I was thinking the same but I'm not sure I'd actually wear it.

Damn it feels good to be a pimp.

>the Goblin, which is basically this games version of Cthulhu.
This is probably my single favorite thing about the game. No Moon Presence or Formless Oedon or Thing That Lurks In The Darkness or Abyss or Idea of Evil or Solaris or Silicon Life or His Master's Voice or Zalgo or Case Nightmare Green or Firefall or any other fucking bombastic, oh-shit name.
You get "the Goblin."

The same tool has been in the comments for ten fucking hours yelling about how THIS IS NEEDLESS HENTAI REMOVE IT regarding the Red Witch expansion.

Other people continue to be idiots and think that the expansion requires another expansion to function.

Good. Maybe they'll leave the fandom and we can be alone.
I'm a johnny-come-lately, I only played a campaign with a friend and I love it so much I got GL 2nd face.
leaning to adding DK and DBK too

Dragon and DBK are both great. I suggest adding Flower Knight as well so you have an early game besides frogdog.

Sure.
Might as well add LK and round out the trio.

Knights are not quite related because of similar title.

Flower Knight and DBK are linked in lore, granted.

Also, Lion Knight is a nemesis. Granted, a very fun nemesis, but he's different than the other nemesis expansions that replace a nemesis in the campaign.

I've done my research, I just really like the idea behind LK.

Yeah, this guy is impossible. I gave up to reason with him.

but bro, he's a graphic artist, he totally understands the meaning of rushed early concept art made just so poots has something to actually show.

we can't have these dollslut hentais in kingdom death they don't fit the setting!

just take a knife to it

y thats pretty funny. having a normally low tier guy be the big bad.

...

I wish for the fox espention to be as "one boxe campaign" as the sunstalker/dragon.
First teased, Poots talked about underground living survivor and shits.

It is. He's stated it's of the same scale. Just as the Sunstalker/Dragon Emperor?Watcher are the superpredators of the Plain of Faces, the Fox is one of the Superpredators of the Swamp. I imagine the Mountain Man/Gryphon is the other superpredator.

I imagine we'll get more as time passes. Mega expansions are a lot of fucking work though.

Also, what nodes do you think Sunstalker/Dragon Emperor will be? I want some more 5+ nodes.

Sunstalker and Dragon King are, based on the description of the node, Node 4 like the Gryphon

We already know that Gryphon contains a campaign.

Hey fa/tg/uys, I could really use a second opinion on which Expac I should get. I'm REALLY torn between the First Hero and the Slenderman packs. I've heard nothing but good things about the Slenderman expac and all the really unique consumables/ disorders he adds to the game, but having the option of fast tracking subsequent campaigns with the First Hero also sounds appealing as well. What do you guys think is the better investment?

If you want fast tracked campaigns I would do Red Witches/BK cause they add 3-5 year mini campaigns.

First Hero is more like a "start super powered" since you only play for 10-15 years anyway.

So it depends on what you want.

Have you played much/at all? Do you REALLY hate the Kingsman?

If you haven't played yet, First Hero seems like something you could put off. Quickstart seems really for seasoned players, since by that point you know your 'kit' for stabilizing out of the early game and starting at the point where you want to branch out and try new things would be nice. For newer players, I feel like you should play from LY1 since the game has a pretty good learning curve that way.

If you really despise the Kingsman and Armored Strangers, Slendy replaces it.

Really regret not getting one of the Satan pledges, are they still available to get if one of the Satan pledgers drop it? Or are they permanently gone

If a satan drops, you can snag it. If you're fast enough

I myself am waiting for the 777 gambler's lantern. I hadn't worked out the finance with the missus when they were available and I'm sitting on BF silver so didn't want to speculate my discount away.

Thanks, I'm in the same boat with my BF lantern, but with add-ons I'm already over 1000$

If it helps, she was shot to death a lot.

To be fair she is wearing a bit more than most other White Speakers. Not much more, but still.

I love seeing WIPs of kingdom death minis, they're usually painted to a higher degree of finish than generic tabletop quality warhams, like most people do their commanders and centerpiece models. I like to see the process other people go through, it's helped me get better myself.

Lucky me, I was in the same boat as you and got a Gambler´s Lantern a week or so ago.

Basically people who hate KD hate not controlling everything in the game in seems. Unfortunately life itself is not like that.

So other than just bonuses to your base stats, what is there that can make Fist and Tooth better?

Using a weapon with higher damage or accuracy.

Monster Claw Style in the base game gives you +1 Acc/+1 Str, and makes your attacks savage, so you deal 2 wounds on a crit.

Death Touch from the spider expansion gives you another +1 accuracy, and gives the monster -1 toughness any time you inflict a wound, so multihit attacks can deal massive damage. It's female only though.

Dark Dentist event gives you Sharp.

The Acid Palms ability from the core game gives you 1d10 strength to unarmed attacks, which stacks with sharp.

I believe Acid Palms is Gorm, but otherwise this is a pretty good list.

The only thing missing is the Speaker Cult Knife -- it's a promo from the White Speaker that comes with an insert allowing you to trade for it (and the other promo, Bloodskin) when you trigger White Speaker through Storytelling. The weapon is 3 speed, 6+ accuracy, 4 strength, deadly, AND sharp and when linked gives you +2 evasion and strength while not wearing armor or accessories, which would handily stack with Leyline Walker for absurd. It has the Fist and Tooth tag so it's a valid way to level your Fist and Tooth proficiency, but also the Dagger tag so you can benefit from Dagger Mastery in the settlement.

how do i build items that come with story mini's like aya ?

i can see i just need certain items to get the vagabond bonus, but like how do i make the tabberd

Lewds when ?

als i had hoped the artwork would be a lot bigger.

Usually the recipe is printed on the card back I think.
At least that is how it works with the Xmas Axe.

The recipe in on the back of the card.

Acid Palms is core. There is just an additional source of it in Gorm.

Also the Dragon King unlocks this ability.

Max out to mastery in it and get another +2 Acc/+2 Str

We are going for a F&T Mastery right now.
The only real annoying thing is the super low acc, we don´t know where to get any buffs for that.
Str is not a real problem since there seem to be plenty of places to get that bonus.

In a regular game I can feel your pain. In the People of the Stars campaign, Acc bonuses are more plentiful.

But it really is worth unlocking for the specialism.

Get someone with grand weapon specialization and built for crit. Knock down monsters and then take advantage of hitting on 3+ and ignoring reactions.

it doesnt say which building i need though. just that i need paint.

Actually, we are in a People of the Stars campaign. I guess we just got unlucky since our F&T gal only got Strength, Evasion and Luck bonuses.
Then again, having 2 Luck and criting on 7s is really nice if I we get a hit in.

That sounds like a good idea, did not know Grand Weapons can do that.

That is your only requirement.
If you have paint, you can make it. It doesn't necessarily require a Settlement building to use.
It's only a strip of cloth / leather for all intents and purposes, no complex techniques required.

...

My gff should clean her dusty desk

Stop posting so many nice paintjobs.
This way I will never make up the guts to start painting mine.

Anyone have tips for painting eyes? I can do everything else, but eyes continue to thwart me.

You'll never improve if you never start user.

Paint the whole eye black, then put the eye whites on top of that. Otherwise:

Easy: reapermini.com/TheCraft/12

Hard: acrylicosvallejo.com/en_US/dates/blog/1291161600/26

The advice I heard was to start with black, then white, color, and black again for the pupil. Also to have the figure be looking to one side so you can put the pupils in either the left or right corner of the eye, which is easier to make look even than looking straight forward where the tiniest mistake will leave your figure wall-eyed or cross-eyed.

>not setting up two profiles, one for best case scenario other for safety net

F&T is already a mandatory one-of

its been about five consecutive OP where you fuck up the link to the KS page. get it right you fucking scrubs

The artist, the sculptor, or the character?

We don't use that link so we have no opportunity to see that the copy paste is imperfect
We all have the KS page on speed dial

The mom friend

Sounds like an absolute retard. Are we sure that he isn't living in his mothers basement, subsisting off of cheese snacks?

I mean for them.

Gryphon isn't a full campaign so I wouldn't be sure of that.

Plus, Lvl 3 DE is tougher than Watcher.
