most realistic party description in this thread/10

Which one are you? Or do you DM?

The DM... god help me

This guy's is fucking extensive,

My condolences man

I get the strangest feeling this thread is being dishonest.... but whatever.

Ancient gallery. There's twice as many now.

drawyouradventure.com/archive.html

if they aren't dying yet turn up the difficulty

Sounds like a badass campaign OP, good for you.

There's got to be more groups.

Bump

An old one

Bumparoo

Anyone?

There's a lot of work involved in drawing a whole party, even if it's merely done in paint.

The ones who want to put that much effort into drawing, on top of running and preparing a game, are far from numerous.

I like doing it because it let's me get a good feel for the characters, helps me practice drawing, and it's a lot of fun.
This is the party as it is right now, minus the monk and inquisitor. Both are taking a break from the game due to life.

They look like some fun guys, the monk it is a qt3.14

It isn't all of the party, and I'm still working on a group shot. Missing is the asshole pyromaniac tech-priest and the almost-equally pyromaniac Cawdor driver.

If it continues...

The monk is Korra

>asshole pyromaniac tech-priest and the almost-equally pyromaniac Cawdor driver.

Oh, it's wonderful. It started as "What if you took a bunch of Necromundan underhive dregs and put them in a tank?"
>Sergeant Shyloh "Blender" Cooper, behind the wheel
>Faith and duty-fueled Escher sergeant. Buffbot and tank extraordinaire. Favourite of General Brenner.

>Corporal John Kruger, clutching the gramophone
>Near-retarded but straight-forward Orlock grunt, only really good at two things: Soldierin' and mines. Recently got pre-emptive déja vùs and is being trained by lizard-cat-centaur-lady.

>Private Astra, in the passenger seat
>Vain and destruction-loving Escher heavy gunner. Scarily competent marksman, sarcastic but fun-loving.

>Private Jac Kashmir, not pictured
>Serious and devout Cawdor tank driver. Carries around an Underhive mystery melta, unnerving connections to the Redemptionist Cult. Shares their love of fire. Surprisingly laid-back when there isn't heretics around.

>Private Enginseer Silas "Scorch"
>Asshole tech-priest with no social skills. Claims lack of competence when unwilling. Such things tend to catch on fire anyway. Shares his head with an AdMech Inquisitor.

We used to drive around a Leman and fuck up secessionists, but a Dark Mechanicus Onager ended that.
Nowadays we kill traitors real sneaky-like, forget daemonic cogitators and try to defeat Letterface, the unfortunately-nicknamed Diabolus Est Machina that fucks around on this planet. Also orks. Thousands and thousands of them.

Unfortunately, Blender's player quit the game, so it's on hold until we can find a leader that can handle our insanity.

Bump

Didn't this one get retconned or some such shit?

What is the Cleric now the BBEG?

I think so, not sure why tho.

Pretty much, he betrayed the party,

...

Well fuck. I liked him as a character too.

Damm what's with all the Fey racism?

They split off into two different parties of good and evil now.

Well, one party member believes that feys are nothing but trouble and cause of curses and bullshit (not completely wrong), one just doesn't trust magic especially particularly magical beings, and another one sees feys as a weird form of demons.
So, there.

Fair enough

Now I want to play in a game where I'm allowed to become a BBEG.

>No GM will ever let you do it because they know you'll be a total edgelord.

Feels bad man.

Maybe prove you can do it without being a total edgelord then?

I can tell by going back through the archives. Also i cannot WAIT for them to meet up in the Pathfinder Society.

Being a total edgelord is the fun part tho

Here's the party from a Savage Worlds gunpowder fantasy campaign currently on hiatus. One of the OG (nathan) has gone full evil and wants to destroy the kingdom and leave it to his dinosaur friends, as well as perform some ritual to permanently become a spinosaurus. The other OG, Enoch, is just a wild card randumb psycho who is still immensely entertaining to watch. The other characters have come and gone. Group started with two players from my D&D group, added more as it went from side campaign to main campaign. Recently reached session 45 and Legendary level.

Edgelord is fun MAYBE once. Just like "lolsorandumbXD"ing is only fun for the first 20mins or so. Sorry friend.

I like the raptor, looks like a kino setting reminds me of Xenozoic

>Maybe prove you can do it without being a total edgelord then?

But how can you do that if they never give you a chance to try?

>total edgelord party

It definitely is.

Here's our campaign "summary" if you're interested. I update it on Gdocs after every session.

Welp, here's mine.

I'm the fighter.

>31 ac
>lvl 1

Something is wrong here.

yeah, should've removed the lvl 1 on the title.

But it's doable, two weapon defense + full combat expertise + fighting defensively and 5 ranks in tumble(synergy with fighting defensively) with Dex bonus of +4 and a mithril chain shirt +1 all add up to around 30, without bringing in mage armor or other defensive buffs.

>Dorf the Dwarf

That's not a name. That's the race.

All in all they complement each other, nice party.

What the hell is a Dorf?

Here's mine. I'm the DM.

TL;DR Two nations are at war, two are locked in a civil war (and trying to end it), and two are trapped in the middle. The Ultimate Weapon could end all of this, but nobody knows what it is or how it works--just that it exists (maybe). Everyone wants it, so adventurers/criminals/politicians/mercenaries are going nuts for it.

The party finds a bauble that can somehow track its position, and while they don't know the specifics they make trouble for those who do and all hell breaks loose.

So what keeps them working together? Their pursuit of the weapon? Seeing how they are all loyal to different factions,is there a lot of backstabbing?

Havarld, Audaces, and the Oberon Alliance haven't made enemies of Gitano or Steinalder yet, so for the most part there's not much political contention in the party.

Jiro and Ulf were fast enemies, but Jiro's past and Ulfber's present caught up with them really fast and forced them to work against a bigger threat. The enemy of their enemy was their friend, and eventually through teeth-clenched teamwork they realized they had a lot in common and had little to fight over--ultimately, both of them had an enemy in Steinalder. Virrasztas was discharged and Poe an oblivious refugee, so their motives don't have much to do with where they came from. The party in general is very much about their individuality, which is why I think they work so well as an ensemble.

The impetus of the campaign was, essentially, the idea that everyone in the party was in for the same goal--the Ultimate Weapon--despite knowing only one of them will ever get it. They've been through a lot together, and while they've managed to get along there is a certain degree of Mutually Assured Destruction that goes unacknowledged (especially from Poe). The more time goes by, the more conflict they have with that knowledge, and the more they have to decide exactly what it is they're fighting for.

Kinda sounds like it's all going to lead up to a final confrontation between them all, kinda like in pirates of the Caribbean where jack, will and that third other dude fight over the chest. It does sound exciting tho

It all depends. Geev arrived just as tensions reached an all-time high between Poe and Jiro (and Jiro got snatched trying to bail out everybody's hide, prompting Geev to insist they rescue him). Poe intends to leave him behind (and Virrasztas is more intent on reuniting with his vegetable brother, thus he goes his way). Savrah, surveying their region for danger, is oblivious to the turmoil. Ulf, stuck between Poe and Geev's points of view, ultimately chose to go Geev's way, causing a rift.

Typically, they're very much in sync, but depending how things go things could get far worse before they get better. There's also a chance that they'll throw their personal reasons behind for the greater good, but who knows if Poe could keep his word...?

Does anyone have any Deerbutt? That was my favorite one after the Paladin/Necro

What one was that?

Way back one of the reoccurring ones got a fay creature that was basically a faunataur that was wretched adorable. they nicknamed her Deerbutt but I think the game fell apart when one of the PCs died as I never saw anymore updates on it

Oh shit i do remember that one!

...

There's part of it

I don't have all of it, just snippits and pieces.

I remember it was hella long

...

Old One I Saved, kinda want the story behind it,

There it is, she is wretched adorable kek

>GM'd campaign with four players for two years now
>decided to splurge and commission art of each character from a friend of a friend
>asked party members about how they want their characters drawn
>found out two of them didn't even remember their characters' names

Fuck dude, were they even having fun?

...

Never posted in one of these threads before, might be fun to keep you guys posted in the future.

DMing a 5e bi-weekly campaign, sometimes weekly. Here is the current party. I can't draw.

I dont have pics for my current campaigns but here's one from last year

Things have changed, but not by a lot to warrant a change in this.

"Played" with a guy once who didn't remember his character's name, class, race, or any of his skills. He also played the guy for half a session before remembering the character had died the previous week. Neither he or anyone else had cared enough to remember.

is a girl playing that Tiefling or is it a fagboy

Grill

Fuck off with this circle jerk

Did you come into this thread just to do this?

Just to be mean?

Looks like someone doesnt get to join groups or worse, doesnt make characters memorable enough that he or his group doesnt show interest in creating art of them.

Stay jelly in jelly school user chan.

I just like to see other peoples parties man, I find enjoyment in it.

I've seen this one floating around before, does anyone have any more?

We've been waiting for updates for forever.

Oh lame, it looks promising

I like this facebeater guy. Sounds like a solid dude.

Which one are you? Or are you the DM of this game?

...

...

I like 3, 4, 5 and 7.

The rest is magical realm bull crap

I love the style here.

Holy shit, #3.

1
Those boobs, damm

I need to hear about #3's story please.

Black Crusade for the record.

lol sir bearington lmao xDDDDD tordek son of tordek kekkekek

How did you get them to consistently meet to play if they weren't even paying attention or enjoying it?

You get lots of points for using that heraldry.
Please tell me your players got it.

Some are more aware than others, but all of them know to some extent (or just don't care). Some of the flavour in the pre-5e version of the setting came from extrapolating about the flags.

Kill them...slowly
