Look, griffons are well and good. I mean, combine a lion, throw some eagle in there, and you get something fucking majestic. But you know what else it is? BORING. The consumers just aren't impressed by minotaurs and sphinxes anymore, gentlemen. We need some monsters that are interesting, deadly, practical. We need... Impossible Creatures. So pitch your ideas, let's see what you've got.

Are you looking for more chimera, like the Mandragora or the Hippocampus, or just rare monsters seldom seen in fiction, regardless of whether they are chimerae or "just" monsters?
If the latter, my votes goes to the Pennagolan. If the former, I like teh Shedu aka Lammasu.

Those pig ears are a nice touch.
This is the only one that might be an improvement over the base animal. Most of these hybrids look like they couldn't even feed themselves.
