Is it safe to leave my crypto on Coinbase? I know about cold storage but I feel like I'd fuck it up and lose my money somehow.

Its insured in the US. So if they fuck up, you get your money. If they steal your money they get fucked by the feds. Just make sure to enable 2FA because if some russian hacks your account your money is gone.
