Kingdom Death is a game that doesn't make sense and you shouldn't buy it, bandwagonners. NO GIRLS ALLOWED
>which pledge do I get? none, go away >how is shipping handled? READ >what new expansions are there? THE >why is the game not coming out till 2020? FUCKING >what is included in the Gamblers Chest? KICKSTARTER >why is this Percival best girl? Cutest pupper for cutest girl
Stupid Question to start with: How can I fit gross Bird People into the campaign? Or is modularity really hard to do?
Eli Anderson
Young Survivor a pure. Pond Scum a cute. Ramette 2lewd.
Bentley Perez
Why is he reprinting Apotheosis. It arguably was the worst selling KD:M mini of all time. It's going to have to be in very small batches.
Hunter Collins
Probably trying to make up for the loss by shoving them into an expansion.
Christian Ward
We're continuing a campaign in TTS, about to fight the butcher in year 4.

People of the Stars has survivors slowly mutating into dragons
I just wish that there was a node 1/2 monster that had feather resources. The only new feathers we can maybe get is from the gryphon, which will either be phoenix or dragon levels of difficulty.
Matthew Perez
Enjoy your -4 population user.
Blake Jackson
Do people really have trouble with the Butcher?
The only time I've ever lost anyone to the Butcher is if he draws that bullshit Lantern Frenzy card. Other than that bullshit he's really not that bad.
Andrew White
I didn't think they'd been done in plastic yet. Wouldn't that mean tooling a new mold for them to add them to the game?
Jonathan Johnson
Of the four times I've fought him, I've had four party wipes. Last time it was from kick/lantern frenzy, before that it was from brain trauma, shitty rolls, and bleed.
Ethan Sullivan
What are the chances we'll get an RPG setting rulebook way down the road? This is a really cool setting and it might be neat to run more traditional campaigns through it.
Owen Perry
>What are the chances we'll get an RPG setting rulebook way down the road? This is a really cool setting and it might be neat to run more traditional campaigns through it. 0%

I just want a few of the models in the Gamblers Chest, Can I get those in one of the cheaper pledges like the top $10 one and add-on the cost of the models?
Ryan Hall
Welp we've got 6 stone columns
Caleb Price
People are acting like Inverted Mountain is the last big expansion reveal. If true, that means I'll actually get through the Kickstarter with just the Silver Lantern.
I mean, Oblivion Mosquito tempted me until I saw "Shares the same node as Spidicules", and Black Knight tempted me until "Only fight once per campaign and doesn't have a tactics badge" but everything else has been duds compared to the original.
Jack Gutierrez
More like 1%, Poots does want to do some hero/rpgesque game work
Seriously though, this is Veeky Forums, if we couldn't homebrew it for any of an assortment of systems we've lost our touch.
Thomas Brooks
>People are acting like Inverted Mountain is the last big expansion reveal. If true, that means I'll actually get through the Kickstarter with just the Silver Lantern. That's because this is what Poots has said. According to Poots, all of the planned expansions have been revealed. All that is left are any unplanned expansions, of which we only know of Satan.
>I mean, Oblivion Mosquito tempted me until I saw "Shares the same node as Spidicules", and Black Knight tempted me until "Only fight once per campaign and doesn't have a tactics badge" There is no reason to believe that Oblivion Mosquito replaces the Antelope like Spidicules does.
You can fight the Black Knight multiple times, but you can only kill him once. It's actually likely that he escapes the first couple of times you fight him. No word on what effect this has on rewards for the fight.
I'm with you on it being dumb for the Black Knight to not have tactics, though.
Thomas Lewis

I would assume that goes along with the redone innovations

How you know that?

It took about 3 months to sell out on the shop.
Liam Young
Beat the butcher, no deaths. Our immortal got priority so he just ate brain hacks, got out with a shattered jaw and a contraction on him
Rivalry fucked him over too so it was a butcher with no deaths and just one dude nullified.
Brayden Cook
bleed -> bandages kicklock -> headband brain trauma -> send in the crazies, they won't mind bad rolls -> you're fucked
Connor Walker
It finally happened, guys. It took a lot of prep work, but I made it happen.
>Chose Survival of the Fittest as my Life Principle, using the 1.5 rules >Innovated Face Painting, and then Clan of Death >Hoarded six Love Juices >Seven endeavors for my returning survivors (4+ 1(Tinker) +2(collective toil)) >Finally pull Lights in the Sky
After burning six rerolls to ensure all of my endeavors went to intimacy, I ended up rolling Intimacy eleven times and gaining 13 newborn survivors with +2 strength, +2 evasion, and +1 accuracy. Feels good, man.
Benjamin Gutierrez
Did you achieve this by nominating three or fewer female survivors over and over again?
Carson Jones
Nothing can actually stop the kicklock if he gets it as his last two cards. The headband can give you one round to get rid of one of the cards, but if you happen to roll badly then you're fucked. All your survivors get ora ora to death. I've got him down to one AI card a couple of times but everything just goes to shit after he kills two survivors
Logan Torres
>Nothing can actually stop the kicklock if he gets it as his last two cards. The headband can give you one round to get rid of one of the cards, but if you happen to roll badly then you're fucked. All your survivors get ora ora to death. Actually, no. Your survivors get ora ora'd until you're all knocked down, at which point you're no longer threats and kick goes to Menace twice and his turn ends.
Of course, then you're all knocked down, so a whole turn passes by unless you've got someone with F&T spec to stand up and start encouraging people. So then you go to the next monster phase where he does two more menaces, and then you finally get another turn after standing up.
Ryan Nguyen
Because there was no chance of failure, and everyone gains survival up to the limit upon departure anyways, I didn't specify anyone but if you want to imagine one female survivor having all the babies in a litter at once I can't stop you from doing so.
Aiden Russell
But Kick gives Priority Target, does it not?
Thomas Gray
Only if it does damage. And keep in mind it's a normal priority target token, not a permanent one, so it goes away each time a target is selected. But, good catch.
So once someone is knocked down, they just need a Kick to happen where all the attacks miss. Not terribly hard if you've got some evasion and grease on. Then he proceeds to kick the next person. Once everyone is knocked down, the next Kick that fully whiffs ends the rampage.
It's... still not good, but it's not absolute instant death.
Jonathan Ortiz
Which was really damn impressive because literally every single other miniature was constantly sold out at that time. Poots only released things in batches of like 250-500 back then and they were gone *quick*. He only managed to sell out during Black Friday last year when his price was dropped to $12.50. there was a moment of celebration when he finally sold out. The whole thing was comical.
Nathan Lee
Poots posts here?
Cameron Martinez
If he does, it's not openly. Everyone was shilling everything as a team effort last year to get sales rolling.
Gabriel Anderson
It's entirely possible. He certainly wouldn't be the first person from a company to do so.
William Rodriguez
He used to during the first kickstarter and some time after. He still lurks from time to time.
It was the only forum where he could actually discuss the TTS related stuff in its early stages.
Parker Johnson
FIghting the flower knight now, none of us have fought him before.
Adam Howard
>Holiday White Speaker Nico >35$ >Xmas Special Pinup Twilight Knight >45$ Why the fuck is it so expensive?
Josiah Lee
You mean the TK? Because it´s almost double the size of Nico.
Levi Ward
Twilight Knight is a larger scale and is entirely a decorative piece. I still have both TK and Nico from last year I still have in their UPS boxes. Was kinda hoping for something new this time around.
Andrew Ramirez
The Christmas Knight is a 54mm model, she is considerably larger than the normal miniatures. Definitely a show piece.
Grayson Green
Is it worth it?
Jordan Price
>No Christmas sale JUST
Ian Wright
Do you have a pressing need to display christmas themed soft-core pornography in your home or office?
She also comes with a gear card
Josiah Campbell
>I still have both TK and Nico from last year I still have in their UPS boxes For what reason?
Jordan Sullivan
What said. It's a display miniature that contains a nice axe gear card. She's a shapely lady.
Grayson Wilson
>wet nurse pinup available again HAHAHAH FUCK YOU SCALPERS
Blake Gonzalez
I haven't opened most of my stuff either. I'm a little daunted by all the painting and building. I also wanted to sit down and see what can be done about magnetizing the survivors.

I really really wanna pledge for all the new expansions too... But I do not care for the pinups at all. The promos might be nice with the extra stuff for the game, but I will have enough shit to last for ages anyway.
Give me a damn gamer pledge Poots!
Liam Bennett
End yourself holy shit.
Elijah Morales
>I really really wanna pledge for all the new expansions too... Then pledge for all the new expansions specifically, dummy
David Kelly
That old version looks REALLY bad. Like how did they even say it was okay to release like that?
Nathaniel Thompson
Some of the early models are just kind of shitty. Like, I don't really like the two People of the Sun miniatures because their poses are boring.
They can't all be winners, but at least they're taking another stab at it.
Isaiah Morales
Just finished my Gorm.

According to my calculations and expecting the new expansions to arrive mai 2019, then starting 2017 I would pay about 49,86 $ a month to afford all that shit I want to order so far. That's not too bad.
>Insanity +1
Kayden Powell
nice piss, bro!
Adrian Reyes
>All-in backers get 10 total campaigns
Jaxson Bennett
Wasn't the Parasite Queen planned as an expansion as well?
Nolan Young
Does anyone know if there's a database showing what size all the models are?
Like people say Twilight knight is 54mm? how do we know?
Connor Green
Is the Parasite Queen not just part of Laser Goat?
Nathaniel Howard
Lantern year totals for each campaign: >30 >25 >25 >30(?) >30(?) >25(?) >25(?) >25(?) >5 >3
223 games to complete, assuming no failures. Assuming you buy in at Satan level, that's $7.15 per lantern year of gameplay. For comparison, the current version (1.31) at retail cost is $16 per lantern year, and 1.5 at $250 comes out to $8.34 per lantern year.
This ONLY takes into account the campaigns, and not things like Screaming God which extends the campaign even longer, which would further improve the dollars per session cost of the game.
Jordan Turner
Parasite Queen is an addition to the lasergoat expansion.
Speculation is that Screaming God replaces the Watcher and Parasite Queen replaces the Gold Smoke Knight.
Kayden Young
Now how much on average does a campaign take in time?
And how much failures do you get on average before you 'complete' one?
Could we play Kingdom Death for a full year?
Jason Anderson
I want to cover her blushing face in smooches
Jack Bell
If you play exactly 1 showdown per week, taking a full year for the base game sounds about right. About 2 failures around the mid point before you finally succeed is par for the course but I wouldn't know because my group is WEAK and the level 1 butcher crushed their will to play ever again, so I mostly just sit here playing with myself
Sunstalker is much longer. I've heard of people losing it, but never heard of anyone losing before year 20, so if that one follows the pattern of 33% completion rate, it would take more than a year.
As far as actual playtime, a single successful campaign currently takes over 50 hours to complete.
Joseph Flores
>mfw there are people this deranged in the thread RIGHT NOW
The 175 pledge isn't just gear, it's all cards. Settlement Event, Settlement Locations, Gear, AI, Hit Location, Hunt Event, Fighting Art, etc.
Charles Moore
Considering 90% of those can be sleeved in $2 mayday packs just fine that's still not worth it.
For that money I could afford to laminate all the settlement locations and events.
Samuel Gonzalez
The trouble is the 2.5k normal sized cards in the game. And the 2 sizes that do not have real sleeves currently.
Andrew White
>$1.75 per pack is more expansive than $2 per pack You are literally retarded.
Xavier Watson
Mayday packs are 100 sleeves. Mage are 50 sleeves. Mayday is still cheaper.
Anthony Bennett
Where? Everyone seems to be sold out of 53x53s at the moment.
Jayden Murphy
>100 sleeves per pack vs 60 wew lad e w
I didn't spend $200 sleeving my game and I laminated all my settlement locations.
So maybe you're just good at sucking your own dick.
Landon Richardson
Just get the 52s they'll do fine
Christopher Evans
>bending your cards If I wanted damaged cards I just wouldn't sleeve them at all.
Brayden Cox
Funny. Most people say they're slightly to big considering the cards aren't even 51.
That guy probably got a defective batch.
Andrew Sullivan
I starting to hates the popularity this game got
Brody Allen
Does he have a poopy butt attack or are you guys just gross?
Jordan Rivera
52x52 Swan sleeves are perfectly sized. image related
Anthony Cook
just gross, he vomits, doesn't poop on people.
Elijah Hall
>using promos even though they are known to be made by a different manufacturer than the actual game cards, and are usually a millimeter off Yeah the promo Lantern fit as well in the picture, it's the ACTUAL cards that don't fit. But sure if you want to sleeve the 10ish promo cards I guess swan is fine.
Brody Lee
If you want I can grab a real card a post a photo of that, but my entire core is sleeved in these things, and all of them fit.
