halcyon 6 and Endless space is also on sale, for anyone that likes space strategy.

Crystal B is broken to hell and back. Lanius B is the next most consistent ship.
Mantis B is stronger than the Lanius B, but it's also less consistent.

It's super nice to be guaranteed Long Range Scanners, but everything else about the Stealth ships are awful.

Doesn't matter what ship it is, the blast laser 2 is always a welcome addition. Having two of them, if you get so lucky, is usually a guarantee of victory.

How did you not get assfucked by the missile launcher? My go-to strategy is always to warp two guys into the launcher room, then the ion, then the laser, then the beam, then whittle it down once it's defenseless and dodge the special weapons with cloaking.

Not him, but I never tried that and it sounds like a lot of wasted ressources when you can just get another gun and shoot it.

It's boring as shit, the campaign has 3 missions which you repeat indefinitely and the multiplayer is broken as hell.
I played it a few months ago, it was unpolished as hell back then, maybe it got bettter since then, but they can't really fix many of the basic design problems.

It works so well because it lets you reliably shut down those fucking missiles right away, and since crew don't respawn killing the guys in the weapon pods acts as a permanent debuff to fire rate that persists between phases. As long as you don't kill ALL the crew, a destroyed weapon will never get repaired.

The stealth module is optional, really, it's just really handy for dodging the power surge attacks.

The wizard has delizard.

Sorry lad, phone (and thus Steam Guard) is bricked. I'm dispensing what remains in my inventory and the contents of various bundles.

Killing all the crew award 15% extra scrap. Which adds up REALLY fast.
Tons of ways to get crew kills, from fire beams, to mindcontrol+aimed fire, to ioning O2 for like an hour.
But boarding is, by far, the easiest and most consistent way to score crew kills.

Cloaking, or hacking (if you can out-gun the shields), or mind-control, or two Defense Drones, or a Defense 2 Drone, or a Hull Repair Drone, or dodge with 8 engines you remember to train your crew, right? Or just focus fire at the Missle Launcher.

If you aren't playing on easy, the Missile and Laser artillery stations have doors to the shield room.
But you're probably hacking shields, and boarding (especially with mind control) gives you plenty of control over enemy pathing.

If you feel like balling out of control, you could always hack doors.

Wait a moment OP. You play as the Federation which is an alliance of many alien species. You run from the Rebels which is a human only alliance as shown by their ships only containing human crew.

Fun fact: you can bypass defense drones by depowering your hacking/boarding drone as it gets shot at.

Also, remember to always upgrade engines as much as shields.
